Since the balance of Jedi and economy is directly linked and it is possible to have a racial characteristic that is fully focused on Jedi (Force Sensitive) I would like to propose my own racial characteristic that is fully focused on economy.

Materialistic achiever

Your race is very focused on the materialistic aspects of life, resulting in a higher efficiency in everything they produce. Due to the high focus on the materialistic they have a hard time to handle spiritual and immaterial things.

This racial characteristic gives a +10 bonus to production on the planet they inhabit for every full billion of population. You may only take this racial characteristic once.

Economic Bonus: +10 production per billion population

Jedi Bonus: The Jedi has a -2 penalty on Energy.

So you basically want to break the "We're all reasonable people" assumption.

If you would have come up with an actual solution to the problem, I might have been interested. But just going out of your way to point out a problem that is already acknowledged in a rather confrontational way (as this can easily be construed as covert criticism on anyone that has a Jedi-focussed race) does not seem conductive to actually working together to improve FWURG.

I know this is a unbalanced racial characteristic and it served its purpose as an example that we are in the current situation not allowed to take an extra economical boost by giving up our Jedi boost, while we are able to get a stronger Jedi bonus if we give up our economical bonus.

As Mercury said to me the current economic boosts on the raw material characteristics are the maximum allowed economical boost, I will accept this.
