Hey there everyone, I have been busy building a system of my own for the [[Unified Emprie of Azaryan Colonies]], but to be honest, I have no idea if what I am doing is even remotely acceptable for use in the forum. Keep in mind that I do not care that much about suboptimal results. I have a large moon as a homeworld and I am planning on keeping it like that.

Right, first off, my race is and oriented and I am planning on eventually making stuff like .
Can anyone please run this world through a sanity-check and tell me if I am doing this at least somewhat right XD
Also: suggestions for placing stuff would be welcome ^^

I've sanity-checked your system. It looks fine, with the exception of two issues:

• You have a Large Moon around your orbit 2 Medium Planet. A large moon costs 4 (lunar orbits), but medium planets only give 2 . This means that you should either, scale down the moon to medium, or use the Captured Moon special.)
• The Jackpot special on your homeworld should be keyed to a specific raw materials (i.e., one of , , , , or ).

According to my calculations, you spent 33 , 84 and 209 , which nets you 24 of population: 2.4 .

I've changed your faction to Candidate World, as no announcement of your joining has been made yet. (The announcement is so other factions can file IC issues; the period as candidate world is for OOC things, like writing a senator and system).

I would also like to impress on you the fact that you can start out as a Minor World. This allows you to flesh out your system while you are already playing. As building a system is a fair amount of work, I advice you to do this. It's up to you of course. If you want to start out as a Minor World (going from Minor World to Inner World is really very simple -- just ask for this IC), please tell me so I can announce your joining.

You might also want to have a look at the galaxy map (found under Tools), to figure out in which sector your system is located. (There is a 'Starting Area' overlay toggle at the bottom of the map)

Since I'm not really sure where to mention the following things, I'm piggy-backing them onto this thread... ^_^

Secondly, I had a look at the wiki pages you edited so far. Let me say that this will be an interesting addition to the game!

I have two notes to go with that:

1) the Azarya page is primarily meant for information on the species, not their culture. You have a lot of interesting info there, but it might be better suited on the UEAC page. Nearly everything not directly related to physique and biological capabilities (such as flight or natural telepathy) is better placed on the faction page: things like the political system and economy, and the structure of their society (though it might be part biological to defer to a single Empress, it seems that this is mostly a cultural thing).


2) The wiki already has provisions for sectioning and headers, so instead of "**Political System:** - ", try to go with ==== Political System ====, which will create a nice header, and will eventually make the wiki create a table of contents for your page.

Okay quick reply, I will edit in some more comments when I have the time.

First of all, I am planning to be a minor world for now, I just wanted to have the system ready since it IS a big part of the history of a species imho. I'd also like to be announced as a minor world for now ' with options to become an inner world as soon as the reforms on their home world have taken place' . Candidate world is not an option with the faction creator by the way...

I will change the moon and the jackpot (forgot to add a there XD). Guess that means .3 more population :D
