Refactor for the Veolian Commonwealth

New players can visit here to build a system, ask for hints and tips, discuss special options for their systems, post their new Jedi and propose skills and Force power for them.

This is the final change.

I will lay out the new solar system, followed by a proposal of racial changes. (This refactor takes into account both the revised star rules, and the new (and already revised) terraformation rules)

50 Gas:
  • Yellow-Yellow Binary. Gives 4 goldilocks. 48 mass.
  • 2 mass is converted into rock.

102 Rock:
  • Goldilocks 1, Medium Planet 'Mirda', Large Moon 'Sirip'. (+Captured Moon, +Homeworld: Mirda). 26 mass.
  • Goldilocks 2, Medium Planet 'Amird', Large Moon 'Amird-an'. (+Captured Moon). 26 mass.
  • Goldilocks 3 + Goldilocks 4, Large Planet 'Kelwar', Large Moon 'Kelwar-an'. (+Captured Moon). 44 mass.
  • 12 mass is converted into bio.

212 Bio:
  • Goldilocks, Atmosphere I+Oceans+Natural Life [Medium]; Wet Climate, Hot Climate, Abundant Flora. 114 mass.
  • 98 bio is converted into population.

So far the acutal change is: throw out everything but the old orbits 3,4,5+6. Swap out 2x Vulcanic Greenhouse + Extended Heliosheath for 3x Captured Moon; upgrade all medium moons to large moons.

Zones:
  • 'Mirda': (:congoods) (:metals) (:weapons) (:organics) (:organics) (:organics) (:food) (:entertainment) (:utilities) (:research) (:information) (:information) (:information) (:crystals) (:rares) (:power) (all upgraded), (:utilities) (unupgraded)

Actual changes: move gasses zones from old orbit 8 to Amird.

Racials:
  • Veolians: High Fecundity, +10 Organics
  • Hemet Veolians (+Augmented Species): High Fecundity, Combat Ability, +5 Healthcare Products*, +5 Entertainment*
* As previously, these two racial characteristics are only chosen because no fleet, offensive and 'force related' characteristics are available at the moment. Once some kind of military/leadership characteristics come available these will be used. (I don't want to take 3x Combat Ability because someone else already did something in that direction.)

Actual racial change: +5 gasses changed to +5 organics.

Your system spending looks good, but I am slightly confused over your specials. I notice 3 captured moons and I assume you are keeping your Augmented Species. Will you also keep your Mirda Homeworld special (assuming that for now)? If this is incorrect, please state what new specials you want.

Your zones look good, though I noticed you dumped a Research Zone from Mirda. Though allowed, I assume this is an accidental omission and you want to keep that zone on Mirda.

Your assumptions were right on all points, except one -- any information not mentioned was assumed to be kept the same. I have updated the first post to reflect this.

The one false assumption: the second (:utilities) Utilities zone on Mirda is unupgraded, as it was built after system creation.

System refactored. Please check if necessary: Smi-Halek System.

Since I think Halek is a nice piece of scenery I added the following to the system description: "Normally such a dense accumulation of gas can be harvested by large space stations. Such a project would be unprofitable with regard to Halek. The dense gas shell around the system suffers frequent energy discharges, usually cascading through any point of mass. Trade in and out of the system is possible mainly due to the fact that Mass Transit Cargo Freighters are small compared to gas harvesting stations, and energy buildups are most frequent around large objects floating in the heliosheath for some time."

let me know if I took to much liberty with Science Fiction/Actual physics there.
