[Nalan Passik]

Nalan has had her close look at the hut but did not seem to show anything new.
Nalan sighs and leave the hut for the time being to follow up with the others. Once Nalan arrives with the others she could already see Nathan allready working on moving onwards.

"Sorry I am late guys, wanted to get a good look that we did not miss anything in the hut." a quick look around of the area she decided that nothing was worth focusing on beside the cave entrance.

"need any help Nathan?"

"I'm fine just watch my back."

Nathan's strong arms combined with the sharp knife cut trough the plants.

He stopped a moment to look inside the cave, cycling through all his vision modes. From normal, to infra-red, to ultraviolet, to night vision. Carefully looking if he saw anything. ((Check: 8 = 4 Force Level + 4 Vision -- ))

With a few cuts the lianas drop and the way is clear. The cave looks quite like an open rock structure; here and there some light comes through. The floor is rocky and wet with moss and other plant growing over it. Shaedys could not follow the tracks anymore on this floor. Slowly the padawans enter the cave. There now is a main way, but soon there is a small way to the left upwards and a broader way on the right downwards. Further up ahead it splits up in multiple paths.

The Jedi are not alone in the cave, there are some small insect/fish in some pools and they can hear some birds and bats. In the cracks in the ceiling there are some small eyes moving in the dark.

Nalan looked around carefully to look for any signs that someone else might of been here. Taking a bigger risk she took a few steps ahead and moved her hands to her mouth to prepare for a shout.

"Is anyone in here!" she shouted. hoping to hear a response of anyone else who could be in this cave.
If Nalan did not hear anything she decided to first take a few steps towards the left narrow path while talking to her teammates.

"Well I have no special preferences on where to check it out first. So if either of you has an idea. I'd love to hear it."

Nathan was shocked by Nalan's shout. Now everything knew they were here, including anything unfriendly.

"We need to scout out this cave." He said shacking his head. "Best we stay together. It's safer and we have no way to communicate otherwise."

[Stuiter]

It echoes in the cave “Is anyone in here!, here, here, eeree…..” Upon Nalans shout the animals seem started and move away. Some rocks fall but there is no responds. It suddenly becomes quiet and eerie in the cave. The question really is which path will the padawans take and where will it lead them.

[Shaedys]

Shaedys assesses the situation, seeing the narrower left path and the broader right path. He thinks for a moment and then exclaims "If I were a hiker, I'd take that right path down. Therefore we should take that one."

Having said that he would start to move to the right path checking to see if the person that entered the cave left any kind of markings to indicate which direction he or she would have gone. ((Check: 9 = 5 Force Level + 4 Vision -- ))

"I disagree." Nathan said. "The right path leads down, it's safe to assume it will be dark in there. To dark to see without a flash light or night vision."

He took another look around.

"But he might not have had a choice."

[Nalan Passik]

"Indeed going down with bad light could prove some difficulties. but then again that could be the trouble in the first place. Does any of you two have flash lights or something?"

[Shaedys]

"I did not bring anything that could help here, except my lightsabers which we could use. Other than that Nathan, don't you have some kind of night vision you could use? Nalan, can't you fix something from technical bits you brought, or perhaps you could rig one of your blasters to emit light."

He took out one of his lightsabers and turned it on, hopefully providing enough light.

"Correct I do have night vision, but that won't do you two any good."

Nathan replied.

"Nalan can you use your tracking skills to find out which way the person who made the footprints went?"

[Stuiter]

Sheadys does not see any tracks. Rock are hard and leave no footprints, you need good skill and eyes to find any traces. From their position the padawans could see that the upper path is light enough to see, the middle path remains in twilight and down it is quite dark. The person might or not have a flash light and gone in either direction. Without any hints they could only speculate.

When Nalan didn't respond to him after a few minutes, Nathan sighed.

Concentrating on the paths in front of him, he tried to feel which way they needed to go with the Force. Placing his trust in his instincts. ((Check: 8 = 4 Force Level + 4 Intuition -- ))

((OOC: I think we need to adjust the pace to once a week, because apparently Nalan can't keep up very well. No offence.))

"To clear around the fastest , I vote we start with the pathway that has the most light . If we are not in possession of the best equipment then we have to use the natural light the best we can."

Nalan starts to move towards the light keeping a close eye on any tracks along the way for a better understand on where to go to.

"But since danger is not really present at the moment maybe we can split up to cover more ground."

[Stuiter]

Nathan could feel a strange presence somewhere ahead. As this is a cave it is hard to determined where it is exactly come from. It not coming from beneath, but somewhere between up and straight ahead.

((OOC: Please guys go ahead. It is okay to discuss thing, but your responds take a bit too long. I know it is a bit boring to just keep walking (sorry my fault) but the direction you choice will have influence on the scene you see. There you will get some action.

Edit: I got some advise and I have to agree with them. It is my fault for not giving for you guys more details to base a choice on. I want to give you freedom, but now it more like giving nothing. Sorryy, I will try and improve my storytelling skill.))

"I can sense something up ahead, but I'm not sure what." Nathan said.

"All I can say for sure is that it's definitely not coming from beneath. Assuming he had a choice he probably went towards the light."

Nathan started moving, he followed the upward path cautiously.

Looking back over his shoulder he said:

"Well you guys coming or not?"

"lets move and get this show on the road"

[Shaedys]

"Very well, seems like a sound plan." Shaedys said nodding.

Shaedys then started to walk up to and through the upper path, following Nathan and assuming Nalan was following as well.

[Stuiter]

The Padawans slowly go upwards. Some parts they could walk and others they have to really climb. They have to watch their step as the floor could be dangerously slippery on some points. Through crack in the ceiling some light is shining and they could see where they are going. On the rock wall the padawans can only see some small bugs as the birds seem to have flow away when Nalan shouted.

They are getting higher and so it the ceiling. Light becomes scarce and the feeling of a strange presence creeps up to all of them. They are definitely getting closer to something. Getting deeper into the mountain the interior seems to chance and become drier and there are more rocks and fewer plants. With Nalan navigation skills and Shaedys compass they would not get lost. Various holes in the floor lead to the lower regions of the cave.

It is getting move quiet and the air starts to feel pressing. The padawans still have not found any clues of the lost adventurer nor of any wildlife here, it looks a little dead. They are reaching a big open area from above, it looks like a bowl and they are now ¾ up. In the center a hole gives some light, there are various pillars and rocks. With his infrared vision and night vision Nathan notices some strange white material is between the pillars and the wall. It looks like network and on some places there are small bundles. This place seems to be the origin of the strange presence, but the real source seems to be off somewhere. The padawans could climb down along the wall or up to some rock that are sticking out. They have to watch out for the white material and the ruble.

Turning to the other two he gestured to them to stay quiet.

His un-activated lightsaber in his hand he stayed on the look out for danger, letting the others decide which way to go.

Nalan hears Nathans signal te be quiet and tries to be out of sight as well ((Check: 11 = 5 Force Level + 3 Fitness + 3 Stealth -- )) . trying to stay out of sight of whatever awaited them in this cavern. preparing for the worst. Nalan also took one of her two lightsabers at hand to defend herself.

as Nalan slowly progressed downwards she was curious to what the white substance might be. so without making contact she took a little moment to take a closer look at the plants to what it might be. whether or not she could discover anything she tried to continue downwards towards to mysterious light circle. If possible Nalan wanted to investigate everything, it was all so interresting to pass up. why where their pillars in the middel of a cave where no one has really been in. When Nalan got closer towards the circle she would stop first at the mysterious pillars. Looking for strange markings or symbols that might say what the pillar is or what it is for.

She waited from a distance from the light circle till the rest of her party was near

Shaedys also hears Nathans signal and starts to move about quietly. ((Check: 12 = 5 Force Level + 5 Fitness + 2 Stealth -- )) He held his normal size lightsaber in his right hand, deactivated as he moved about.

Shaedys saw Nalan start to investigate the surroundings, and so he started as well himself. He tried to move quietly to an edge and looked down, investigating the bottom of the bowl for any signs of life, be they human or animal. ((Check: 9 = 5 Force Level + 4 Vision -- To look down in the dim lighting of the cave.))

Nathan cautiously follows the others. Using his different vision modes he looked in the unlighted areas. ((Check: 8 = 4 Force Level + 4 Vision -- Night vision, infrared, ultraviolet))

Using hand signals he told the others to wait with entering the light. This looked like a good place for a trap to him.

[Stuiter]

From the hole in the ceiling comes only a limited amount of light but with his night vision Nathan has no problems looking around. The bowl has a diameter of about 300 meters and the pillars are naturally formed rocks that support the ceiling. There are two other entries one high up to the east and one down to the west. Shaedys looks down the bowl but could not detect anything moving around in the semi-dark. The area is very rocky so you could not see much. You really needed to get close to see if something is hidden in the fissures.

The padawans are able to climb down the bowl without letting any rocks fall with help of Nathans nigth vision. Silently they move around well hiding in the shadows of the rocks. On their way they see a few bugs. Nalan moves to the white material to inspect it. It seem to be thick sticky threads forming a connected network between the pillars and the wall with the centre to the North of the centre of the bowl. It looks natural, so it has to come from a big animal. The small bundles are place mainly at the centre and some at the sides and they have a]various shapes and sizes from 10 to 300cm. With his infrared vision Nathan can see that there is something warm in the thick bundles, some kind of creature probably. A little bit further Sheadys discovers an old white bundle with the remains of what looks like the three-legged wild cat.

The padawans continue to the centre of the bowl towards one of the pillars. They move carefully between the threads. The pillar is made of natural rock and there are some claw marks on it. Nalan is determined and keeps looking around. She then finally sees something shimmer further up. She move closer and between the rocks lies a helm with a flashlight, some with material is sticking to it.

((OOC: Sorry but there are no magic light circles only a natural cave.))

Nalan sees the helmet lying between the rocks and becomes curious. after a quick look around she grabs the helmet and pulls it from between the rocks.

"guys, look what I found. I am going to guess that the one who we are suppose to find lost his or her helmet while down here. I guess we are getting close." Nalan moves closer again to the circle in the floor. and tries to look into the hole to see what it is in there.
