[ Scir ] A call for help...
"I am also interested in origin of the remains of members of the royal family. So we can redo the test from scratch and compare the results."
Nathan walked right behind Shebi Ajava.
He, on the other hand, did not ignore the guards. He approached them.
"We wish to speak to the supposed heir immediately." He said in an authoritative tone. He looked the guard in front of him straight in the eye.
His posture and booming voice demanded an answer. This guard was clearly a soldier, Nathan knew how to handle soldiers.

Nalan, Nathan & Ajava
The guards immediately stood in the way of Shebi Ajava, though Nathan managed to get them to back down finally, his commanding voice intimidating the men.
The inside of the ship resembled a luxury yacht of some sort, with spacious quarters and comfortable benches. The shuttle hangar of the ship had been converted into a hallway with a blue carpet in the centre leading up to a raised area where a chair was positioned to overlook the room.
Behind the chair stood two dainty Kaminoan maidens wearing semi-transparent silk dresses that covered more than they seemed to, while off in the corners were ceremonial guards. On the chair itself was a tall Kaminoan with muscular arms and legs - it was a strange sight as most Kaminoans were slender and thin.
"Ah, the Jedi are here to preside over the restoration of the monarchy!" one of the three men who were talking to the man on the chair stated as they entered.
Ariana & Trigiel
((OOC: Your telepathy counts as long range))
Ariana checked out the reports carefully - the tests seemed to be quite conclusive though, having been double and triple checked to make sure, though the samples were still available for Ariana to double-check.
"We gathered the samples from one of the royal tombs. You can go there if you wish to get your own sample?" one of the researchers explained to Trigiel. "Though we took two samples so we are pretty sure we did it correctly..."

"Don't you worry, I am not concerned about your collecting of the samples, but yes, I would like to collect samples of my own. You said one of the tombs? Can you show me the tomb you used to us, and the location of the other tombs? So we can take a test sample."
Trigiel had more plans than just a single test sample, but the scientist didn't need to know that.

Nalan Passik - PC
Nalan was intrigued with the stranger physique of the Kaminoan on the chair. and curious who the 3 standing ones where aswell. Seeing as how she is slightly inexperianced with diplomatic situations she kept her mouth shut for now. Nalan checked around the room as to how the guards are standing around them. If she would have to find a computer to "borrow" she would have to be stealthy.
Nalan needed a moment to maybe get out of sight of the guards. using her stealth to hide if such a moment presents herself. ((Check: 8 = 5 Force Level + 3 Stealth -- ))

Nathan looked around the room. He identified the number of guards.
The only physique that made some sense to him was that of the Kaminoan sitting in the chair. The others look far to fragile to him to be considered combat effective. But since he was no expert he supposed they could be much sturdier than they looked.
The comment from one of the three people near the chair clearly stated to him they expected to be acknowledged. His first instinct was to deny this, however as a marine he knew politics wasn't his strong suit so he remained quiet.

Shebi Ajava - PC
Shebi Ajava sized up the situation, and determined that this would be a most interesting assignment.
As she did not want to confirm or deny anything, Ajava openend with a very generic honorific.
"Your highness," she started speaking to the Kaminoan on the throne, "we are here first and foremost as a neutral party to validate your ancestry. You understand, of course, that it is in everyone's interest to have the jedi, as a neutral party, validate claims of such magnitude. The first step of this validation is a genetic analysis."
Gauging the reaction of the advisers, she continued.
"To this end, I would your consent to take a small sample of your tissue. I am confident you see the wisdom in ensuring that no tampering can take place with such a sample, which is why I request this of you directly. If you agree, I shall fetch the necessary equipment."
((OOC: @Nalan Passik: You get an attribute with your check ^_^ Stealth is usually done with Fitness, as it requires physical control of your body.))

Ariana & Trigiel
"Of course, if you have no objection, our lead field researcher can take you there." he motioned to an office down the hall from where Ariana and Trigiel were now.
((OOC: If there are no objections, I will move you both ahead to the tomb. You can come back to the lab later if you want. Or you can stay and do more here, as you please.))
Nalan
Nalan managed to sneak away from the main room, out of sight of the guards for a moment, making her way to a computer panel to 'borrow' access for a moment, but almost as soon as she accessed the machine, she could feel a hand on her shoulder from a Kaminoan woman dressed in luxurious, if somewhat transparent silk.
"That is not for you to use, Jedi."
It seemed as though her stealth had not been enough to keep hidden - though it probably did not help that this woman had had the unfortunate timing to walk in right there and then. As to why Nalan had not felt the force warning her as it usually did when she snuck about and was about to be caught remained a mystery.
((OOC: I am presuming your Fitness bonus was to have been added for a total score of 11 - you did not fail the check. Trust the force.))
Nathan and Ajava
"Another sample? Have you not bled the rightful king enough yet?" the man who had welcomed them just now protested, but with a single finger raised up slightly the muscular figure on the big chair silenced the protest.
"Of course, Master Jedi."
The would be king spoke with a warm and compassionate voice having a fatherly kind of way about him. As soon as he spoke, the three men with him bowed as if to acknowledge the man's wishes.
"Take what you need. I am certain you will find everything to be in order."

Shebi Ajava - PC
"Thank you, your highness. I shall have the equipment fetched immediately. Please excuse me." with a curt nod, she stepped outside the room for a moment.
Shebi Ajava tapped her communicator: "Ariana, plan ahead next time. Now you'll have to come to the ship as well and take your sample-taking equipment with you. The alleged heir has allowed us to take a new sample."
Shebi Ajava stepped back into the throne room.
"Your highness, would you be willing to tell me about the journey you have taken to come back here? I am sure that a thorough examination of your travels will leave little doubt of the validity of your claim."

"Preferably in private." Nathan added, glancing to the three men.
He couldn't shake the feeling Miss Shebi was inclined to allow the man to take control of the entire Scir faction. It didn't make sense to him how a sovereignty could benefit from a leadership with a single point of view.
Nathan opened his comm to the veolian jedi: "Miss Shebi, I think you are appeasing this man to much. I do not believe we are here to ensure he is who he claims to be." His signal was encrypted and fully electronic so no one but Miss Shebi heard it. ((OOC: in case necessary: ((Check: 9 = 4 Force Level + 4 Fitness + 1 Stealth -- ))))

Shebi Ajava - PC
Standing next to Nathan, Ajava could easily reply to his concerns without drawing any notice to their conversation.
"Do not worry padawan Asillion. I am sceptic about his claims, but it doesn't hurt to be polite. We are a neutral party, and the first thing we must do is get the facts -- without tampering by either party. What do you think we are here for?"

Nathan was relieved to hear that and was slightly surprised about the subtle difference between telepathy and how his brain implant relayed regular communications. Non of this was visible on the outside.
"Affirmative, my apologies, ma'am."

Nalan Passik - PC
Nalan was startled by the sudden hand and talk of the mysterious woman. It was strange that Nalan had not sensed anything.
"O my deepest apologies madam. Allow me to introduce myself . I am Nalan Passik and I'm here with the neutral Jedi party to check the claims. I sidetracked a little by thought and was just drawn to this computer. as an old facination of mine of my childhood. I did not mean any disrespect madam". And Nalan ended with a bow out of respect.
Being not entirely sure who this woman is Nalan figured it was best to be as courteous as possible to not raise to much suspicion.
Not knowing where this could lead Nalan thought it was best to alarm the others that she was discovered.
Guys I might have a situation here ((Check: 6 = 5 Force Level + 1 Telepathy -- ))
((OOC: I am not sure what attribute fits telepathy though.))
((OOC: Yeah I am still somewhat new to the check taking and stuff. Did not figure I had to press 2 separate buttons :P. I thought the "stealth" check would take it with it automatically . I will keep it in mind for future checks.))

Ariana activated her communicator. "I will first visit the tombs to get samples there. After that I will come to the ship."
Ariana prepares to join Trigiel and head for the tombs. She takes the equipment that is required to take proper samples from the lab where she is now. After getting the necessary supplies she walks towards the office and talks to the researcher. "We would like to visit the tombs now to get our own samples."

When they had all the equipment they needed, Trigiel was ready to go to the tomb. He made sure the equipment was clean and not tempered with. ((Check: 8 = 4 Force Level + 3 Intuition + 1 Medicine -- I am not sure what ability and skill is needed, or that this check is necessary at all.))
"How many tombs are there?" If there was more than one tomb, Trigiel wanted to split from Ariana to cover more ground. If at all possible, he wanted to do so without actually telling the scientist.

Shebi Ajava - PC
Shebi Ajava split of part of her thought process to listen to the response by the alleged heir, while she focused on replying to Nalan Passik.
"What do you mean with 'a situation'?", she telepathically replied to both Nalan and Nathan.
((OOC: I assume that this use of telepathy does not consume my 1/day long-range use. If it does, I will not reply.))

((OOC: Communication with someone in voices reach does not use up a daily use of telepathy - if you yelled, Nalan could hear you, so you can reach her telepathically.))
"Certainly I will tell you of my travels!" the would be king began to explain. "Before coming here I spent a lot of time in sector 19 -6, visiting a Hutt nobleman there. Very unpleasant fellows, the Hutt, but very rich and very generous in their riches, so one does what one must. Before that I spent time in Sector 12 -4 in an old colony of my people. A king should be aware of the history of his people, after all." He explained
Nalan
"My husband will not like you messing with the computers. Best to stay away from them." the woman explained to Nalan, looking her over. "You look pretty enough. Why would you need to mess with computers?" she inquired, apparently having some Kaminoan stereotype in her head.
Ariana and Trigiel
"Well there is one tomb, but... it is all pretty big and ostentatious - what's left of it. Nothing like, say, Korriban, but big anyway." the field researcher explained as he stopped the speeder in which he had transported Ariana and Trigiel to the entrance of the tomb. "You have to be careful in there, its not entirely safe... maintenance was cut centuries ago - too expensive."
Soon the duo arrived at a hillside - you wouldn't even be able to tell there was a tomb here, it was all grasses and hill, but the field researcher led the way down an old and overgrown path towards a stone entrance featuring a brand new steel grate, welded closed, though offering a view into the dark and partially collapsed hallway beyond.
"I'm afraid we don't have a key - the place was welded shut after our last visit and the vandalisms and such." he took an electric saw from the back of the speeder. "This may take a while, so please sit back and relax." he explained as he made his way to the grate.

"Hold on sir, We do not have all day. " Ariana stepped out of the speeder and followed the man to the grate. "Do you mind if I make a hole with my lightsaber? I am not here to relax..." If the researcher would not object Ariana activated her yellow lightsaber and cut a hole in the grate that was large enough for them to enter.
"..." After what the scientist said, Trigiel raised a headflap ,"cut expenses? Vandalism?... wait... ..."
Trigiel suddenly realised how incredible stupid the Kaminoan were, "Ariana wait, what do you think, the Kaminoan were space travling species, what would you do with genetic materials of your lost leader? Put it in a cold, dusty tomb?"
Then he asked the scientist: "How old do your people grow anyway? how many generations is the leader gone? And can you tell us more about these vandalisms?"

His tone was neutral and he kept a respectful distance from the man in the chair.

Nalan starts to blush a little. "Well I'm certainly not used to these kind of compliments my lady." She replies and giggles a little. While this was certainly true Nalan still wants to try and remain on her good side. "I mess around with computer as a little thing from my childhood. But that is certainly not interesting my lady."
Nalan needs to regroup with the others. No immediate danger as far as she could tell. But it would be best to dodge this little situation with this mysterious woman. "I am terribly sorry my lady, but it seems I am taking up your valuble time. Would you be so kind as to show me where my party is so I can rejoin them and not cause any more trouble for you".
While all this was going on she needed to inform her party to the situation.
It seems I have been discovered by a mysterious woman while trying the computers. No danger just yet. trying to rejoin you without any alarm going off by her. I will keep you informed.
