"Greetings Saron Itho. I'm Shebi Ajava."

Shebi looked the new padawan over, before continuing.

"I will gladly let you go in my stead. I only joined because it was the correct thing to do. The mission required three participants. To be honest, I have other responsibilities I'd rather spent time on."

"T'Sal, Fecta Trigiel, I look forward to work together on another mission. Good luck!"

As padawan Shebi Ajava starts to walk away from the party the ship starts to open up. It’s a small simple ship who seems to have endured quite a lot in it's day. When the entrance is fully opened up a small white droid is rolling down.

“Greetings!” a high pitched voice bursts out.
The little droid seems to make a twirl and inspects the padawans closely. The party sees that the robot seems to scan them or something like that

“yes yes! Padawan’s T’Sal , Fecta Trigiel and Saron Itho. Your identity has been confirmed and we are ready to take off. I shall prepare the trip now masters. We will have time for any last questions once we are well under way. Yes yes!”

“My name is TOR-4284, and I am the HELPFUL assistant of master Gri’pan. O yes YES! And I am here to serve you to your every need. Now if you are all ready I would like to ask you to enter the ship so we can take off for our exciting mission! Yes YES!”

The droid nods a couple of times and quickly roll back up into the ship.leave the party behind for the time being.

“Good luck with your other activities miss Shebi.” says T’sal while she bows goodbye.

“Saron Itho good that you come to join us. I hope you are prepared to go through the jungle towards the ruin we have to investigate. Bye the way, this is S4N8 my spider research assistant droid. ”

T’sal looks curious when the service droid TOR-4284 comes to inspect them. The droid had clearly some strange programming with all the Yes. She looks to S4 and then back to TOR then she shrugs and walks towards the ship.

“Guys, let’s go. It seems a great adventures awaits us.” she says while smiling.

T'sal and S4 enter the ship and look around.

"I do not like droids with this kind of... 'interesting' programming" His voice clearly displayed a feeling of mistrust. However he trusted the equipment provided by the order. It would be stupid to give padawans unreliable gear. So Trigiel also entered the ship.

Saron Itho enters the ship as well, a little bit surprised that the droid already knew that he was coming along.

With a last look at the hangar the party sets foot inside the counselor’s ship. The layout is a pretty standard and nothing special about this ship peaks the interest of the party thus far. A soft hum goes through the ship and it starts to move. After a couple of seconds into flight the intercom buzzes on loudly.

“We have started our journey to Yola! Yes Yes! If you would be so kind to report too the bridge for some last minute information.” The now typical voice of TOR-4284 sounds through the ship.

The party arrives moments later at the small but well equipped bridge. The little droid is driving around from console to console working the ships controls towards the mission’s destination. As the party comes inside the robot nods quickly and motions to sit and faces the party to speak once more.

“My master has informed me to share some last minute info with all of you. Yes Yes! Gri’pan would like to point out that though it is your primary mission to assist Kura’ran in his expedition. Any side sources of information would be most welcome to our database. So keep your eyes open! Yes Yes! You are free to rest, eat or do anything you please while I make sure we get to Yola. I hope you enjoy the trip! Yes Yes!” And TOR-4284 finishes off with a twirl before continuing his duties.

((OOC: a last chance for any question can be asked here. I will post the next part of the story in a couple of days or till all have responded. want to get to the story/quest part now. as for the posting frequency. I put it on once a week because I thought this would be hard to combine with my current activities. but it is going quite nice. I don't think I really need to increase the posting frequency. just post when you can and I shall wait a maximum of 1 week before my next post.))

"I assume 'anything I please' is within the moral and legal boundaries, I think I will get some issues with important people if I rob a starship because 'it pleases me'." Although Trigiel did not mean to rob a ship, he clearly did not like the choice of words. Then Trigiel asks for some last information about the climate, flora and fauna to make some final adjustments to his body.

((OOC: As long as the requested information does not have an impact, you do not have to post it for me. Also, I prefer if you do not describe the emotions of our characters, as we can react differently than you think. “I think I will read the data that I downloaded, I will let you know if I got something interesting.”

T’sal goes to find a nice spot to read. But before she starts she checks S4 a last time. She has added some extras to his inventories (transmitters and some more basic spy stuff).

“S4 could you give me the specifications of TOR-4284, he sure has some funny programming.”

S4 looks understanding to T’sal as he retrieves the data from his database on droids and security systems and tells her the details.

Considering that there is only one droids to pilot this ship, T’sal decides to give S4 also some piloting and navigation programs.

When this is done she takes a seat and starts reading up on the time period and the planet.

((OOC: Okay, then post 1 a week. You do not have to give the details, unless it is significant. Same goes for reading. So we can just continue.))

The travel is coming to an end and the party can see the planet coming closer and closer.

“Just a few more moments till we reach the ground yes YES! Everyone welcome to Yola.”

The ship comes near to the planet and soon a small landing platform was visible on the ground. It is clear the people where expecting the party since a large welcoming party stood ready at the platform.
The sun is setting over the site and the small temple can be seen in between some mountains.

Image

Just being near this area the padawans can already feel the force being present at this area. It can make one wonder how this place could be missed for so long.
As the ship opens up a few scientist already come in and start to discuss matters with TOR-4284. A small scientist walks towards the party

“Welcome. You must be the group of Jedi being send by Gri’pan. We have heard of your coming and we are quite excited to share our findings and get you to work! I shall take you to my supervisor Kura’ ran.

The scientist does not await any reply. As the party leave the plane a better sight of the site can be seen. A lot of tents are set up for the expedition crew to sleep in. people are working on holograms, data pads and examining strange markings on stone. Ground samples are being analysed and objects are being scanned. For the party it is now more than obvious standing near the analysed samples that indeed. This place is quite something.

Entering a large tent a firm looking male was busy working on some disks that was laid out on the table in front of him. He looks up and gives a smile right away

“Well if isn’t the Jedi group I was waiting for. Welcome, I am Kura’ran and we were much awaiting your arrival. To get right to business. These are the disks you where send here for. these disks are known to contain teachings done by the Jedi master of this place herself. But even though we know this. There is just a small issue with the disks, as there are with a lot of data on this site.”

Kura’ran actives a holoprojector and a couple of disks show up enlarged, highlighting a really small area on every disk.

“It seems that they were quite protective of their information and somehow they encoded pretty much everything that we found here. Every holodisk , data pad and other information carriers show similar small entrances which seems to be like key holes. without the respective key we can’t access the information we want. Now we have tried all the standard solutions but for now it seems we need the keys to get on. Any questions so far?”

Kura’ran awaits the party’s answer.

"I do not know what you have been told, nor how your naming scheme works, so just to prevent any confusion: We are just padawans, and not yet full-blown Jedi knights. Our commitment is no less though."

Then something hit the cyborg, doors can be opened with the force, by switching the switch. Maybe this will be possible as well with the data discs.

"Maybe we can use the force to open the lock. Chances are slim but it is worth a try."
If Kura'ran will allow it, Trigiel will try to open the discs with the force.

“Nice to meet you, Kura’ran. My name is T’sal and I am a scientist. This is Fecta Trigiel a cyborg and that is Saron Itho. Hopefully, together we can solve this mystery, but for that I would like know more about this location. Do you have a map of the area?

I would like the information on what you have discovered so far. This location is quite interesting as its force presence is strong, but what were they doing here? What kind of rooms does the temple have? Can you make indication of how many people lived here? Did you find other things which might give hints?”

T’sal had more question, but this would probably be a nice starts. She first wants to get a purview of the situation and then get into the details.

"I am very sorry mister padawan. Or Fecta Trigiel was it. You have connection with the force and handle a light sabre. furthermore you are send here by master Gri'pan. This makes you a jedi in my eye's. But I get the idea your focused on facts. I like that in a man. As for your suggestion. Having Jedi. Eehh I mean padawans on the site with force sensitivity was needed for certain things we could not do. this is one the idea's we also had and I am anxious to see the result."

As Fecta Trigiel uses the force on the disks the disk start to shake around. though a connection can be felt. nothing happens with the items on the table.

"Hmm it does not seem to do anything on these disks though. but it might in one of the rooms in the temple. to elaborate more on the situation yes we have started to put together a map of the area and the temple. Though we are still processing a lot of data we know that the temple has a lot of space inside it. I would almost say it looks like a small village. The space is used for food storage, sleeping quarters , training area, teaching rooms . You name it and it's there most likely. Though we cant say a specific number we estimate that long ago a group of about four hundred to one five hundred people came here under the guidance of Malarika. They came here to live away from their old lives. although it is still vague about what Malarika was preaching. We have found that the terms The middel and Grey area passed along quite a number of times. Maybe that could be a hint. We found that for as far as records go here. They kept their life's quite well hidden. A lot of encryptions we have not seen before. And like I said. The key holes we found on the items indicate they wont give their information away just like that. it's intriguing really. But that is why you are here. I would like you three to go into the temple and pry around with the power of the force to maybe find things that we can not and hopefully find missing pieces to the data we have thus far."

“The Force is been described as having a light and a dark side. Grey seem to be the middle of the two.

Counselor Gri’pan said that master Malarika left the Jedi to find her own path and this temple might be her way of teachings of the Force.

Let’s go on a short tour through the temple before it gets too dark.”

T’sal takes S4 with her and lets him watch the midichlorian level and also use his sensors to check for rooms behind walls.

"Exactly my thoughts, the force part that is." Then he uploaded the map of the area into a datapad. No use to get lost when it is unnecessary.

He had no fear of the dark and his optical sensor was well equipped to see in the dark. Either with a build in flash light or night vision, infra red and ultra violet.

((OOC: Although I do not how the others think about the midichlorian level, but in my opinion is that explanation of George Lucas just bullshit, and did never happen.))

As the padawans enter the large structure it soon became clear how so many people would be able to live here. The mountain seem to be hollowed out a lot to make room for a lot of small structures. Kura’ran ’s comment on how it seems more like a village becomes quite obvious. It is a good thing that the group here set up a lot of lights up here. It makes it really easy to look in most of the buildings.

The buildings near the entrance are mostly houses to live in. Small houses fit for four to five people with places to make food and small living rooms and other humble interior. While walking certain larger houses can be found which seems to be stores or warehouses. Still some supplies are left here and seen on counters. Judging the area you could say this is a sort of a trading area. Passing along even larger structures can be found. Farms and factories for food and devices. A small community build out of nothing.

As they stand still near the end of the area where a massive sort of barracks stood towering over the rest of the village. A wave passes over the party as the connection to the force has never been as strong as it has been here. Clearly this is where Malarika was most of her time.

The party is on a hold. Thinking of what to do next.

As T’sal focuses on the force she is drawn into the large structure because of its intensity. As she enters the large barracks like complex a couple of lights are making sure everything can be seen. Four researchers are taking notes and studying marking on the walls all around. A couple of small room entrances van be seen on the side as and far as the eye can there are desks and computers in every room. A large stair case goes upwards in the middle of the room. As of this there is no specific direction T’sal is being drawn too since the feeling is the same everywhere.

((OOC: I don't know if we are going to fast. that fast part was a back and forth response game where I just replied on your answers. having said this. Saron has not replied at any point during a good 2,5 week period now. If he wants to be kept in the story then he should at least make his post a week or make a OCC post explaining why he can't do that. Trigiel looked around to all the computers and different entrances.

"I do not have a plan, so lets take the stairs in the middle of the room." Then something hit the cyborg, and asked over the holocom to Kura'ram: "Was there any door so far you could not yet open? because in that case we might start looking there."

“Hmm let me check the records for that. It seems there have been certain areas where it was more difficult to reach in or open doors. A factory has in the back area and the building you are currently in appears to have more reports of closed doors or computer that are hard to crack. Judging on these reports the area with the most mystery thus far is on the upper level at the back of the barracks. We have been able to identify the room in question as Malarika’s office”

While he changed his direction to the office, Trigiel spoke, although it sounded more like thinking out loud, to T'sal and Saron Itho:((OOC: If Saron is still here somewhere.))

"Shall Malarika has put traps in and around her office? It will be logical for her to do is she has secrets, but Kura'ran didn't mention anything so far.
