T'Sal
Carefully looking up each type of droid, T'Sal discovers that all droids within the castle are multifunctional. Their default programming is based on a generic planning and solving algorithm, so they might exhibit unexpected behaviour when placed in new situations. However, she also recognizes the utility packs carried by the blade-wielding droids: those are remote communication packs. This means that the droids could be reprogrammed remotely.
While studying the castle itself, she discovers two things: the trench's floor is covered with shield projectors that are currently offline, and the roof of the building in the courtyard contains four mechanized trapdoors that are controlled from somewhere else.
Directing her attention to the three towers, T'Sal is able to accurately determine the exact positions and distances of each tower to each other, and to the generator. The towers form an equilateral triangle with a side of 80 meters. The generator is roughly 500 meters away from the castle.
After looking up the hovering droids, she knows that they have heat, vision and sound sensors accurate up to 50 meters. They're equipped with shielding capable of withstanding a few blaster shots. The three patrol droids appear to be a somewhat outdated model, meaning they won't have any communications capability.
Trigiel
((OOC: You can't use two attributes on a check; since you are trying to get a better look, I've used Vision. The hangar is too high to jump and attach; even if you stand atop one of the towers this is not possible.))
Trigiel's infrared vision tells him that all three towers consume large amounts of energy, enough to heat up to around 420 Kelvin. He is unsure where the towers are transmitting to exactly, but their target is near the castle. Each tower is roughly 20 meters high, and constructed from a frame of durasteel girders. Around 10 meters up, a platform inside each tower supports a large black box from which cables run to the dish and to the base of the tower, where they disappear underground.
Afters some further study, he discovers another interesting detail. Each tower is connected to one of the crates near the generator. He is unsure what kind of connection this is, but he can clearly see a line of heat going from the crate to each of the towers.
Ariana
Ariana takes her time to determine the path of the shielded droids. It seems that they operate a patrol route consisting of two components: first they circle their current tower, moving in a circle with a radius of 30 meters around the tower, then they hover over to the next tower (in a counter-clockwise fashion) and repeat the pattern.
Because of this, it shouldn't be to hard to dodge the patrolling droids. Any route that takes into account their strict pattern will work.
There are two obvious routes to the hovercar. The first route leads through an area filled with stacks of large storage containers, the second route is by air, skipping any difficult areas and flying the 800 meters towards the garage.

T'Sal - PC
After some time T’sal finally look ups to the rest.
“Let us not make too many assumptions about the droids but use the facts.” And she waves with her datapad.
“The droids in the castle are multifunction and will adjust to different situations, so be careful. They have remote communications and we might be able to influence their programming. The caste will be hard to access as the tranches have shields and on the roof are trapdoors.
The towers stand in a triangle about 80 meters apart from each other. The generator is about 500m away from the castle. The droids patrolling near the tower have accurate heat, vision and sound sensors up to 50 m, but don’t seem to have communications devices.”
T’sal waits a few seconds so the other can process the data.
“Storming the castle directly would be unwise. We could sneak to the transmitter tower so we can use it to disable the guard droids. We could use the hovercar to cover the distance quickly to the castle and find the wounded people and move them out. From afar I cannot see much about the generator so like Ariana suggests we might want to take a closer look.”

After listening to the suggestions and ideas floating around he suggests. "Ariana and me can fly swiftly to the hoover car and get it going. Or I can get to the tower and help shut it down. I am a pretty good engineer so I can do both."
he takes a good look at the hoovercar to see if he can determine make build etc.
((OOC: Force level 4 + vision 4 to spot it Force level 4 + reason 5 + mechanical engineer 3 to recognise things.

"I suggest that Nebesnogo and me fly to the hovercar and fix it. If the rest could find a way to sneak towards the generator, study it from up close and possibly disable it we should have a major advantage by then. If you can not reach the generator in the current situation we might be able to provide a diversion with the hovercar later on. "
Ariana will fly to the hovercar together with Nebesnogo if there are no objections.

Nebesnogo
The hovercar is to far away to make out any technical details. But based on the rounded edges and the overal shape of the car, the design appears to be old. The hoverengine is probably an early model: simple and robust.

Trigiel quickly told his observations to the others, then he turned himself to Ariana:
“Ariana, did you take the blaster droids on top of the wall in account? I believe they will be able to take you down. If you think you can make it to the car together with Nebesnogo Sveta then I won’t stop you.”
Trigiel took another quick look around and then added: “Try if you can spot the blue drop point from above.”
Saron Itho, T’Sal and I can try to get closer to the transmitter towers, I believe that from there we will be able to reprogram the droids. However we cannot do
that without being detected by the hovering sphere-like droids and I don’t trust the crates so we will probably need the cover from the car.”
Trigiel thought about the pro’s and con’s for a second, and made assessment: “ The things what can go wrong are:
- Ariana and Nebesnogo Sveta are unable to reach the car due to blaster fire.
- The car cannot be repaired.
- The car is useless due to the lack of any weapons or capability to hover over the wall.
- The crates contain defense turrets or other defenses.
- The sphere-like hover droids are too strong for us.
- The droids on the wall cannot be reprogrammed from the towers.
- The droids in the castle will be alerted by our presence and will activate extra defense mechanisms.
- The droids in the castle decided to storm us and overwhelm us.
- The subjects cannot be found.
- The droids kill the subjects upon our detection.
- The subjects cannot be moved.
- The landing zone is unfindable.
- The landing zone is unreachable.
Detection seems to be unavoidable when we go for the towers, we can try to sneak around the castle, however this will also increase our chances of detection and there is a chance we won’t be able to sneak in.
I say we go for the car and the transmitters, Ariana and Nebesnogo Sveta go first, upon detection we go in and distract the droids, else, we wait till the car is ready. Then two go around and three go for the transmitters.”
((OOC: I forgot to mention a zoom lens in my optical equipment, am I allowed to add this?))

"I was planning to fly high and around them. If we stay far away from them they will probably not spot us.
If they see us they will still not be able to hit us from that distance.
I Will tell you as soon as i see the blue drop point."

T’sal has also notices the patrols route of the guard droids and makes sure she remembers the places from where she will be detected and where not. She puts her datapad away en looks down from the balkon.
“Okay, let’s sneak to the tower and the generator and see what we can do there.”
She then jumps down and using the force she makes a save landing.
((OOC: Force level 5 + Energy 5/Strength 3 + Force jump 1/Telekinesis 1.))
She scouts a little up a head while the others come down.

Saron Itho - PC
Saron Itho follows T'Sal with the necessairy precaution.
following the 'strength in numbers' theory, Trigiel also jumped down following T'Sal and Saron Itho.
"I remind you, if your observations where correct than it is impossible to walk around undetected near transmitters.
The droids have a sight of 50m, while they are 30m away from the transmitters. And I believe walking around the transmitter won't work as there are too many droids for that. Besides the fact that we cannot do anything with the transmitters if we need to walk around it all the time."
After saying this, Trigiel will not follow the others all the way to the towers, but will stop at a save distance at a sufficiently covert location away from the boxes with the wires.

T'Sal, Trigiel and Saron Itho
Dropping down to the ground, the trio carefully makes it's way towards the three towers. T'sal in the lead, and Saron Itho and Trigiel following.
Just as they are approaching within 100 meters of the closest tower, on a route that would lead them past the three sentinel droids just as they changed towers, Trigiel spots a small surveillance device hidden between two metal crates. The device seems to be a perimeter tripwire; it detects nearby movement. Trigiel spots an interesting detail: the sensor seems to be connected to a network with a physical cable.
They could either try to move around the detector, which would take extra time, or try to disable or manipulate it.
Ariana and Nebesnogo
Ariana and Nebesnogo jumped from the balcony, and spread wings to manoeuvre towards the blue hovercar. As predicted, their flight was uneventful, and moments later they arrived at the garage.
From close by, they see that the garage is littered with all kinds of tools and parts. The hovercar is suspended in the air by a maintenance rig allowing access to the outlets and the engine.
In the back of the small building, a large blue door bears a the text: 'extraction zone'.

After checking the area Ariana returns to the hover car.
"Lets see what we have here. We should first check why this thing is hanging here... Lets fix this bad boy." ((OOC: Force level 4 + Reason 5 + Mechanical Engineer 2))

“Roger, the car will come in handy to extract the subjects.”
Then he turned towards T’sal and Saron Itho: “There is a detector over there,” warned Trigiel while he pointed at the device. “If my observation is correct, we will be spotted by the device when we come to close. The device is connected with a wire to something, probably a network. This means there will be more of these devices. We can use this in our advantage. When we find a terminal maybe we can set of the alarm at another location to lure the droids away.”
As a further direct approach towards the tower was a stupid idea according to Trigiel he didn’t move any closer. Instead he went at a safe distance around the device. Carefully avoiding the patrolling droids and looking around for more detectors or any other odd devices.
His plan was not to reach the tower as he already reasoned that it would be highly improbable to be there undetected. He wanted to safely search for terminals and other stuff where they could hack in the network.
((OOC: Force lvl 4 + vision 5 + sensitive optics (infra red, ultra violet, night sight)
I did forget to mention a zoom function in the first equipment post. Am I allowed to add it to my list as it would be a build in feature?))

T'Sal - PC
T’sal puts on her goggles and adjusts the setting until she could clearly see the detector. She follows Trigiel around, but when she notices that he is not going to the tower she talks over the headset.
“I know there are some traps here, but I want to go to the tower. If I can get in, I could use the transmitter disc to reprogram the droids on the castle. That will make our approach much easier. If you do not want to come you can check things out here or go to the generator.”
With this said T’sal find herself a good hiding spot and looks for more detectors. She takes some time to plan her route to the tower and waits for the droids to pass. She then moves stealthy towards the tower. She relied on the force to guild her for the treads she did not see.
((OOC: Force level 5 + Vision 3 + goggles (heat, magnifier, etc.) for looking for traps

"I agree that we would do well

((OOC: As this is a training thread, some notes for you to think on:
Try to take one significant action per post, and list only the force level, one attribute and one applicable skill.
If you're not sure what attribute and skill applies, pick one that seems logical, and note that your not sure. The storyteller will remark if something different applies. So, for analysing a mechanical device go "Force level 5 + Reason 5 + mechanical engineering 1; maybe Scientist could be used, I'm not sure" do not write "Force level 5 + Reason 5 + mechanical engineering 1/scientist 3". It is confusing.
List the check near the action, instead of just listing everything afterwards. So no "Force level 4 + Vision 4 & Force 4 + Reason 5 + Mechanical Engineering 3" please. Note the check where you take the action.
Make sure you apply the correct attribute. They are a bit confusing (we're open to better names for that matter). If you want to jump far, you use Fitness (used for physical actions with your own body), not Strength (used for physical actions influencing other things than yourself).
After you've written your post. Read it again -- from top to bottom. Your spell check does not catch correctly spelled, but wrongly used words such as 'guild' instead of 'guide', or 'tread' instead of 'threat'. This is important, as such mistakes make it more difficult to read your post.
Use skills for their intended purpose. So no 'Stealth' to find hidden things, or 'Scientist' because it's a castle and castles can be analysed with the scientific method; You already get your Force Level + Relevant Attribute on every check, there's no need for trying to grab the highest available skill on everything.
That being said, here goes:))
Ariana and Nebesnogo
Ariana scours through the parts scattered around the garage. Most of it is junk, but she does manage to find a pair of perfectly fine power couplings.
((OOC: Force level 4 + Vision 3 for a total of 7; Stealth not applicable, it is used to hide, not to find. Ignored the second check as it is the second significant action -- checking the room takes a while))
Meanwhile, Nebesnogo is checking out the hovercar itself. It seems that whoever tried to fix it did not have much knowledge about basic hover engine mechanics. Multiple parts have been reattached in the wrong way, and you even spot a 'fix' that might very well cause the engine to overload.
((OOC: Only used Force 4 + Reason 5 + Mechanical Engineering 3; vision is used to spot things, not to diagnose problems.))
Fixing the car up, even with the power couplings found by Ariana, is going to require at least ten minutes, and a powersupply is needed to start it up after the fix.
Trigiel and Saron Itho
Trigiel spots multiple trigger devices. They seem to form a loose grid around the towers. All sensors seem to connect to a single large iron box, clearly outside the area patrolled by the droids.
((OOC: @Trigiel: as you did not mention it in your equipment listing, I'm afraid you'll have to do without for this mission. Not to worry though, the next mission you can just update your equipment.))
T'Sal
T'Sal moves in the direction of the tower, carefully avoiding some of the detectors. Just before she enters the area patrolled by the Sentinel droids she nearly triggers a detector that was cleverly hidden underneath an iron chest.
It might be difficult to dodge both the traps, and the sentinel droids.
((OOC: Force level 5 + Vision 3 is just good enough to see the trap before you trigger it. Moving there while taking care not to trigger traps counts as a significant action.))

“I have spotted a connection hub, maybe we can hack it to set off an alarm somewhere else to lure the droids away. Sadly I don’t have the skills for that.” Trigiel looked hopefully to Saron Itho, as far he was able to show emotions. “Saron Itho, if I recall it correctly, you have the ability to hack the system, correct? If so, are you willing to do accordingly? Be careful with the sensors.” As Trigiel pointed at all the sensors he had spotted.
“I also suggest waiting with setting of any alarm till the car is repaired, how much time do you estimate for repairing the car?”
Because he couldn’t do much more here Trigiel moved to see if there was a free path to the generator. Even without any stealth skills he should be able to reach the generator. But since all three patrol droids have enough vision range to spot anything near the generator he probably couldn’t do anything. Trigiel looked at the patrol path to see if the droids would have no vision near the generator long enough to fiddle around. Maybe he could walk around the generator to avoid detection or maybe there is a blind spot for the droids.

Trigiel looked at the patrol path to see if the droids would have no vision near the generator long enough to fiddle around. Maybe he could walk around the generator to avoid detection or maybe there is a blind spot for the droids.

T'Sal - PC
((OOC: Ignore this post. Misunderstandig, see below.))
As T’sal was not so good physically she relies on the force to help her get out of this situation and dodge both, the droid and the detector. With telekinesis she makes her body move more quickly to get out of side of the droid but not trigger the detector. She takes cover and then waits for the droid to move on before moving again.
((OOC: Force level 5 + Energy 4 + telekinesis 1))
T’sal hears Trigiels message of waiting for the car be repaired. She sneaks to a better spot where she can wait of the others to answer before making the decision to continue or wait here.

((OOC: I'm sorry Stuiter, I think there's a slight miscommunication. I did not intend to say that a droid was coming at your location, I intended to say something along the lines of 'That detector nearly triggered; it will be extremely difficult to dodge the droids while also paying attention to the triggers'.
It was a subtle hint that it might be too difficult for you to attempt without significant risk of failure.
Regardless of this, you can't use Telekinesis to speed yourself up; Force Speed is used for that. Though this is a significant difference, it doesn't even matter in the hypothetical situation, as hiding is done with [Force Level + Fitness + Stealth].
Since this is a training thread, I propose to ignore your last post (i.e., it didn't happen -- you can edit it to say '[removed]' or something like that). This allows you to write a new post to react to the near miss.
PS. Since I can't help myself: In "quickly to get out of side of the droid but not trigger" this means A flat surface of a three-dimensional object; a face., I think you meant 'sight' - the ability to see.))

After seeing the detectors T'sal could see it would become quite difficult to approach the tower without being seen by the droids or trigger a detector.
T’sal hears Trigiels message of waiting for the car to be repaired. She sneaks to a better spot where she can wait of the others to do their job.
"The tower is good protected and I will not continue until you fix the car and are ready for action. Trigiel if you could disable the detectors that would be great".

After checking over the vehicle and cursing to the one who bodged it up.
The fixing would take me about ten minutes and if I have a power supply it can run.
He then called out. "Ariana can you find a power supply that I might use to make the engine run?"
He gets to work fixing the hoover car.

"I did not find any power supply in the garage here. I did find these power couplings. Lets see what we can do with the Hover car now. We might have to get it to the generator near the towers to power it up..."
Ariana starts helping Nebesnogo with fixing the car.
"10 minutes is a bit long. We should be able to fix it in 5 minutes together." ((OOC: Force 4 + Reason 5 + Mechanical Engineering 2; I want to know how long the power cables are that we have at our disposal.))
