While moving over to where they would embark for the short underwater sea-trip, Ajava looks over the map of the Academy to get an idea of the place, and to prevent going in without knowing the rough layout.

When they arrive at sea, she checks her equipment a final time, bites down on the rebreather and plunges into the water -- ready to pilot the scuba engine towards the cliffs.

((OOC: Ajava is confident that she can climb a sea-side cliff without gear; but she is very survival-oriented in her skills.))

The seawater was surprisingly warm, some 24 C or such, making for a comfortable swim. Approaching underwater, the two Jedi eventually arrived at the base of the cliff, hiding the scuba engine in a convenient spot. From here they'd have to scale the cliff, which would require a check. Once at the top, they'd arrive on a promenade, which was a sort of huge balcony overlooking the sea and connecting various rooms, being relatively open to the weather except for a roof and possibly serving for parties and such. This promenade, part of the inner structure of the building and very near where the Mandalore would be.

Calmly swimming towards the cliff face, Ajava handily moved from the water onto the rocks. From there she started climbing. Knowing T'Sal mostly as a learned Jedi busy with laboratories and analytical work, she keepe an eye out for T'Sal and helps out when necessary.

((Check: 16 = 10 Force Level + 4 Fitness + 2 Athletics -- If necessary, Ajava has 3 ranks in Stealth.))

T'sal surfaces and climbs on the rocks. She graps the climbing rods ((OOC: I do not know how those things are called)) from the climbers kit and using her telekinetic power the puts them on strategic spot.

Arriving at the top of the cliff, they entered onto the promenade, which was really quite nice, mosaic floors, fancy pillars holding a ceiling up above the area. There were some tables with glasses on them set up for a later reception perhaps. The area was empty, save for a pair of guardsmen who were currently patrolling away from Ajava and T'sal. From here, they were able to enter into a hallway where they could spot two guards (with T'sals corner mirror) who were guarding the entrance to a hall. That's where the Mandalore was, with some people having a small party of sorts. The room only had two exits according to the map: a panic room in the back, which had heavy steel doors to hide in in case of an attack, and the window from which one could plunge to their deaths below in the sea. Perhaps this was a good moment to signal for a distraction?

Ajava makes a quick judgment of the different outcomes of this situation, and then signals for the distraction as she motions for T'Sal to hide until the distraction takes hold.

It remained quiet a moment, no distraction seemed to be coming. Then suddenly the lights went out all over the building, and the sprinkler system went off, spraying water everywhere. One of the guards by the door took note and moved away from his position. Ajava and T'sal could hear movement downstairs, away from their current location - possibly security forces elsewhere in the building being repositioned? After a moment, several guards left the room the Mandalore was in, moving off in the same direction, away from the scene.

Ajava waits for a moment so that the leaving guards won't spot her entry, and then draws her bow. Using the darkness as cover and the force to see, she takes aim at the other guard's right upper arm -- enough to take him out of the fight, but not enough to outright kill him -- and lets her area fly. She then rushes forwards towards the party.

((Check: 20 = 10 Force Level + 4 Vision + 1 Force Vision + 5 Arkari-Renja -- Added combat rating to quickly deal with guard. Without combat rating check is 15.))

T'sal grabs her light saber but waits before turner it on and follows miss Shebi Ajava silently. If possible she uses her mirror to look into the room before entering.

Ajava's arrow struck true, hitting the guard in the shoulder and causing him to collapse - being hit by an arrow from a composite bow could do quite a number on someone, even if it wasn't a killing blow. ((OOC: Are you two stopping at the door or going inside, I am unclear on that))

((OOC: I had planned on rushing inside, but didn't describe that to allow for sudden interruptions.))

Ajava only plans on drawing her light saber if absolutely necessary, as secrecy is of great importance. The attack should fall on the shoulders of a rival clan, and not on the Union.

Rushing inside, Ajava and T'sal banged open the door, finding a small party of some eight people or so. The Mandalore was seated on a large chair and immediately got up as the door was rushed. He was wearing armour and carrying a rifle, but wasn't wearing his helmet. Next to him was a cloaked armoured bodyguard whos face was hidden by a helmet (more)

A man in black fancy clothes was kneeling before the Mandalore and looked over his shoulder in confusion, as he was apparently trying to beg for forgiveness for the sprinklers causing his guests hair to get wet. Two women in impractical fancy dresses were taking cover in a corner to get away from the water, and a waiter was trying to clean up which was of course a Sisyphean task with the sprinklers still running. Two other guests, each in Mandalorian armour, moved to draw blasters when the door was bashed open! (done)
