[ Jedi Temple ] Tour the gardens with Salia
"Hmm, is the DEM crystal blue? Master Qun Treen said he had hidden four blue crystals. If so, it seems it is our best effort here.
I suggest we go to the machine shop."
I suggest we go to the machine shop."
((OOC: I have no clue if the crystal is blue.))
"It is the best effort we could have here, and hopefully the master will be content with our conclusions."
And when salia enters the room again, Jaicen powers up his droid and hoverchair and says:
"Come Salia, we found what we are looking for here, let's go to the machine shop. By the way, did you find anything special here?"

Salia - PC
Salia's head popped out of a ceiling panel, her lekku dangling down as she looked around the room
"There's no crystals in the ceiling"
she explained, as if that was a question someone had asked.

((OOC: If you want the crystal to be another colour, feel free to declare it another colour ^_^ I just felt that this would be very fitting with regards to what a Jedi Master would ask by way of self-reflection.
I'm assuming that you want to go to the machine shop now, even if your characters only have been talking about it.))
With the three Jedi together again, they can make their way to the machine shop.
As they arrive they hear the noise of machines and people working. The very recognizable sound of iron being sawed sounded particularly loud. Entering the machine shop they saw about four Jedi working on a big project, a machine of some kind, set up in the middle of the room. Two of them are working with the saw to cut a long iron rod in smaller sections, and the other two are welding already cut sections to the machine at odd angles.
The four Jedi here took notice of the new arrivals, but continued with their work without pause. Searching this room might be tricky, with all the stuff lying around...

Salia - PC
Salia looked excitedly around the workshop, her big blue eyes growing even bigger as she saw all the big machines and everything, her mind planning out various routes to climb without touching the floor, exciting spots to look in hidden behind security screens and all those fancy blinking buttons just begging to be tried out. This was going to be so much fun! The excitement was visible on her face and the big smile that it supported, her lekku swaying slowly to further show her plans forming.
"And this is the 'no touching buttons' area. Here we store all kinds of machinery with buttons and switches you are not allowed to touch Salia," Trigiel said with a smile seeing the little girl getting exited about all the buttons, "touching buttons means activating machinery means bad things will happen if you don't know what you are doing."
"Also, leave the things where you find them, otherwise the other people can't do their job."
"Also, leave the things where you find them, otherwise the other people can't do their job."
"Nice place here. Could I please ask what you are creating here?" Jaicen asks when the working Jedi look as if they are able to receive questions. He lets Trigiel handle Salia. "I am Jaicen and somewhat new to the academy."

Storyteller (Brend) - Storyteller
After finishing up the cutting and welding, the Jedi seemed ready to take a break.
While three of them sat down with a drink poured from a thermos, the fourth walked over the Jaicen, Trigiel and Salia.
"Thanks.", he replied, "We're building a tectonic stress measurement sattelite. We heard that the Union is sending aid goods to a system that is regularly hit by serious earthquakes, so we thought it would be a good idea to deploy a sattelite to give early warnings."
"Wait, we have an academy now? Knight T'Sal is going to go nuts over that!", he replied with a big smile.
While they were talking one of the other Jedi, a rodian, waved at Salia and pointed at a big machine that, from Salia's point of view, appeared to be the ultimate in high-tech indoor climbing apparatuses. It had a large base, with multiple levels of iron plate creating platofrms to stand on, upwards it has several big levers jutting out of it at odd angles, a lot of blinking lights at the top, and to finish it up, the top of the machine was connected to the ceiling by a big red cable with white lines on it! In most Jedi's point of view it was a laser drilling machine, which have very effective safety measure to prevent accidental activation.

"Salia and I give Padawan Jaicen a tour through the temple since, as he said, he is new here. As a challenge, Master Qun Treen have given us the challenge to find a couple of crystals."
Then Trigiel saw the Rodian: "Nice device you have there. Do you mind preventing Salia from activating the drill?"

The rodian's only reply was a wink at Trigiel which, given the enormous eyes of rodians, was completely impossible to miss for anyone in the room.
"It is going to explode, run for your life Salia!, RUN!" TG-100 said with a monotonous, slow and sarcastic voice.
"well, great, if it is going to explode, it is even more harder to actually find the crystal."
Adressing the jedi who talked about the sattelite:
"Nice work, I know the planets which you are talking about. And I think I just swapped a computer game and the temple in my mind. Did you perhaps find those crystals laying around here, since I have no clue on how to find them in here, besides plain-old searching."

All four Jedi looked at the droid with a strange expression for a moment, as if he said something utterly insane.
"Yeah sure, just go and have a look in the "Discarded Crystals" bin over there... Mostly burned out ones though. If we found it, and it didn't work, it'll be in there."
From where they were standing, both Trigiel and Jaicen could see that the "Discarded Crystals" bin was in fact a large bin with all kinds of crystals thrown in, filling it up nearly to the brim.

"This is my TG-100" TG-100 said: "He is somewhat of an advanced droid, which I can control by means of a DME crystal. As mechanics: Do you know what DME stands for, since I don't?"
Meanwhile TG-100 walked over to the Discarded Crystals bin and takes a look inside, hoping to find a crystal which was still somewhat whole.

Salia - PC
Salia waited patiently - or as patiently as she could muster - while the others spoke for a moment. But then it all became too much to bear.
"She's gonna blow!!!" she called out, throwing her hands in the air and beginning to run around the hall in a panic, following her ancient maxim of 'when in danger, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout'. For a moment one might wonder if she was really in an actual panic, but when she started climbing the giant laser drilling machine, it soon became clear that she was primarily looking for an excuse to climb on something.
The girl was actually surprisingly fast and nimble climbing up, making some death-defying jumps in the process with seemingly no regard for either gravity, or the potential for injury when falling from a height.

((OOC: @Jaicen: You're taking a significant action by checking the discarded crystals bin: Check please.
@Salia: Check Approved.))
Salia's sudden ascent brought a smile to the face of the rodian that waved at her earlier. Salia's quick ascent was hindered somewhat by the fact that several of the machine's large levers weren't all that static, and stepping on them made them go down, instead of making Salia go up. Yet, her jumps safed her time and time again until she reached the top of the machine.
"Pfah, everyone thinks their droid is advanced. Though I must admit, ordering him around without speaking or a remote control is a neat trick. But I haven't heard of controlling droids through crystals... And I have no idea what DME would stand for... Distributed Magnet Energy? Dilthium Matrix Enhancement? I have no idea."
TG-100's look inside the crystal bin made it clear that this were more crystals than one person could quickly search through in a few minutes. This would require more people, a workbench and a shovel to get out large amounts of crystals. The bin had a diameter of about 80 cm, and was about a meter high, and it seemed filled to the brim with crystals, most had cracks in them, or burn marks, or they were melted and had strange shapes.
Salia, unknown to to the others in the room, saw that there was a small clear crystal taped to the top of the machine, in between two blinking lights that rapidly switched between orange and blue.

"I bet everyone does indeed. A well, I needed something to replace my body during training and this is it, he can also do some funny tricks with a lightsaber. I have also no clue what DME stands for, I got the name from my teacher back then. It is a force sensitive crystal which creates a bridge between the jedi and the construct in which it is planted. If you are interested we could make an appointment to explain you more and to let you as a professional look at the crystal?"

At first glance TG-100 sees no crystal that attracts attention, but with so many crystals in the bin, he quickly finds a handful of seemingly whole crystals just lying on top of the mass of crystals. There's many more in the bin for sure, and checking them is going to take a few hours of he has to do it alone.

The TG-100 takes one of the whole crystals, which looks the best at first glance, and presents it to Trigiel.
Meanwhile, Jaicen waits for an answer on his question to the Jedi
Meanwhile, Jaicen waits for an answer on his question to the Jedi
Trigiel is enjoying himself seeing how Salia is having a fun time and Jaicen is getting acquinted with the other jedi. In the time TG-100 is looking through the bin, the cyborg Jedi closes his eye and meditates for the crystal. They now have two of them, the one they found on the fountain and the one in TG-100. Trigiel tries to sense if there is a similarity between them. Then he lets his focus go through the room to sense any other crystals. First the bin to make sure there are no interesting crystals in there. Then past the machineries, working benches, other crates he goes through the room to sense if he got a clue of the whereabouts of the third crystal.
((Check: 11 = 7 Force Level + 4 Intuition -- Trying to sense the crystal in this room.))
When TG-100 presents the crystal he says smiling: "Congratulations, you have found a crystal, now what?"

TG-100 answers: "Well, our goal was to find a crystal in each department, so I guess this suffices, don't you think?."
"Technically it is Salia's job to find the crystals. We were only asked to prevent Salia from causing too much trouble.
And beside, the Masters are supposed to be wise, I don't really think that randomly grabbing a crystal from the garbage bin is in line with their wisdom."

"Allright, allright...... I have no idea what their wisdom actually is, it could be quite practical their wisdom --- take the most obvious thing if that thing is correct -- is also a wise something"
"Okay, Salia, did you already find a crystal, if not I have one for you that you can find!"
((OOC: (Jaicen is also still in a conversation with the workshop Jedi :P, but that is an SL)))

The Jedi talking with Jaicen appeared to be temporarily distracted by Salia's antics.
"Eh, sorry.", he turned back to Jaicen, "I think that if the crystal is as special as you make it sound, me looking at it is not going to do much. I won't mind having a look later on, but I don't think that I'll be able to tell you anything you do not know yourself. Oh, and I have a mission coming up, so maybe after that... I'll send you a message when I'm back."
((OOC: I do not think it is useful to RP the follow-up meeting between Jaicen and this Jedi. It is as he says: the DEM crystal is a rare and unique crystal, and he knows nothing about it. But he does give some tips on droid construction.))

Salia - PC
Salia's head peeked out over the edge of the high drilling tower, red on her cheeks and a bit of sweat on her face to contrast her white outfit. She looked like she had been hard at work up there.
"It's stuck!" Salia called down "And it only exists intermittently, which really isn't something that things should do as it gets really confusing really quickly because what if you don't exist half the time, and you get married, is the other person still married, or are they married only half the time and what happens when your partner runs off with someone who exists the other half of the time, that seems like it would be weird, and I am not sure if the laws of physics even allow that sort of thing though honestly who made those laws anyway, they are really stupid and it would be much better if they were different, though to be fair I am not sure that I could make better ones, but someone should make better ones so that fun things are more easy and bad things are not as easy, someone smart, who won't get stuck like I am with this thing!" she explained, as if this made perfect sense.
"Also, be careful if you come up here, its potentially dangerous if you fall! Because of the stupid laws of physics!" she added, as if that was important.
