((OOC: Yeah, constraints like that take a while getting used to. Could you update your IC post a bit to reflect your new actions and intentions, so other players read it whithout having to follow the OOC talk?))

"Jaicen wait! What are you going to do? Do you mind saying out loud what you plan to do?"
Ariana turned towards the rest.
"These protests start with a small group of people but can really grow fast if we make a mistake. We need to be on the same page. I propose to ask the leaders of the group to come talk to us, with the group around them we can not have a reasonable conversation."

"I am trying to talk to the leader-people and explain to them that we are religious figures, just in another way, and that we blessed this stuff and gave offerings to some of their gods. Just remember, religious fanatics usually are not reasonable."
"Let's first walk towards them to see how they react on our presence. The most important thing is that we come in peace and are here to help them."
Ariana joined Jaicen and walked towards the protesters.

Danar Gistor - PC
"I will look for our, the group, contacts here on site, they have probably more insight in the situation and maybe they can help." Gistor proposed, seeing how Ariana probably can handle the situation.
Gistor starts looking and if possible contacting by holo or other means the scientists on Kons which he worked together with for the past few days.
If he found them before the situation gets out of hand he asks them: "There is a religious protest here preventing the safe arrival of our, the Union, aid supplies. They are currently small, about forty people and let by religious figureheads, but we of the team are afraid the situation will escalate quickly. Can you help in settling the issue as it might help for them so see a familiar face?"

Darones Rei - PC
With Danar Gistor, Jaicen and Ariana all actively handling the matter at hand, Darones opted not to involve himself in their efforts to resolve the situation, but instead coordinated with the security detail and set up a few more landing zones further away from the crowd, in an effort not the disrupt the flow of goods that was now slowly but steady coming to much.

((OOC: For clarification: the first shuttle with of the aid goods set down just outside of the camp of the scientists. The camp itself is a way off from the road towards one of the main cities on Kons. So Danar Gistor is very, very effective in finding the scientists :P))
While Ariana and Jaicen start towards the protesters, Danar Gistor quickly looks for the head scientist.
The teprogrenaian quickly found him. But his reaction of "Oh boy. I'm not touching that one with a eleven-foot pole." after Danar Gistor explained the issue made it clear that he was not in a helpful mood.
Meanwhile, Ariana and Jaicen approach the group. Several faces in the mob seemed surprised at the bold move, but most of the people simply kept walking until the two religious figures stopped walking when they were within about ten meters of the Jedi. The mob and the Jedi are standing about three-quarters of the distance from the city to the first supply drop.
"You will not corrupt us with your godless goods, heathen! I suggest you pack up your stuff and go back to where you came from.", the younger of the two religious leaders shouted. The mob behind him cheered to back him up.
While they heard the opening 'argument', they saw the second of the shuttles divert to a location further away down the road, as Darones' took charge of making sure that the goods were offloaded in a different area. Of course, this would not solve the problem -- there are many more aid goods, and they really need to be stored in a warehouse. Of the mob persists and hinders the deliveries, they will eventually have to be stopped, or rerouted to a nearby village, or different city altogether.

((OOC: I suppose I am allowed to say my part now? :)))
Adressing the two religious figures: "Hello, I am Jaicen's droid. I, Jaicen, am over there with the other people" The TG-100 points at Jaicen. "I would like to point out that we are definately not heathens and not godless, we are Jedi, and we adhere strict religious principles, which correspond to several of your divine host, but bear a different name. Furthermore I must assure you that these goods are carefully blessed by your priests. We also asked Fi-lingri and Fi-milli for their blessing in our travels towards you and the god for aid towards strangers in need."

Danar Gistor - PC
Completely oblivious to Jaicen his action, Gistor goes on seeking from help.
Without help from his local contacts, Gistor decided to seek help from higher above and tried to contact the authority who they were coordinating the distribution of the goods with. If necessary he goes on all the way to the Duke himself till there finally is an authority who is willing and able to help without letting the situation get out of hand.

Ariana waits for the droid to finish his speech and carefully studies the protesters to see how they react to the message.

"You lie, Jedi!", the younger priest called out.
"No priest of Fi-lingri would defile his patron by blessing goods that would travel the surface of Kons! And no priest of Fi-Millia would bless goods that leave Neomea or Synthia's orbits!", the young priest calls out these accusation loudly, and with a tone of contempt.
The mob cheered the priest on, clearly agreeing with him on the matter.
"Your own words prove you are a heathen and a liar!", he raises his arm and points at the shuttles, "Leave now, foul corrupter!"
From this close by, Ariana and Jaicen saw that several of the protesters carried clubs. They weren't actually wielding them, but they apparently wore them as a side arm on their belt.
In the meantime, Danar Gistor got a hold of Grand Bishop Nanteek Adool of Chaundra, the duke's advisor of foreign affairs. "That is most unfortunate.", the grand bishop agrees, "I shall contact the bishopry of Kons immediately, and ask them to send a bishop to negotiate.", he replies to Danar Gistor's explanation. "It might take a while before the party of the bishop arrives, so I suggest that you withdraw until they have arrived. May the gods be with you." And with that he closed the connection, presumably to contact the bishopry on Kons.

"I did not say it was a priest of Fi-Lingri or Fi-Millia who blessed these goods, listen, you heathen word-twister!, I just asked the gods for their blessing."
TG-100 exclaimed with a metal voice: "This proves the length of which you are willing to go to try to get your way."
"But okay, we will leave and go to another place, we will leave you thirthy people here to die, bye now."
Both TG-100 and Jaicen turn around with Jaicen waving his hand around towards the priest:
"Ow, before I am forgetting, these are not the supply goods you are looking for."
((OOC: I have no idea to what extend I can make them forget things, I can know I can make them forget me (and thus my droid), but can I make them forget Ariana? Or even that there were supply goods brought by the Jedi?))
((Check: 11 = 5 Force Level + 5 Intuition + 1 Mind Trick -- ))

Gistor contacted the Jedi after his contact with the dukes advisor: "I just talked with the duke's advisor, Grand Bishop Nanteek Adool and he is currently arranging for a bishop of Kons to negotiate. However this might take a while so he suggested that we withdraw."

((OOC: @Jaicen: You can use Mind Trick's Rank 1 power to make someone forget that you were there, but not what you were doing. So, you could make the priest forget that you gave this speech, but he would still remember someone giving the speech, just not you. The Priest would also not forget Ariana's presence, nor the deliveries of supply goods. Note also that you must make some kind of gesture with the Mind Trick, usually the traditional hand wave that can be seen in the movies, but in theory the gesture can be worked into creative movements.
However, there's an important reason that what you are trying here will not work: The power works on a single subject, and you are trying to affect a group of people. Affecting a whole group with Mind Trick is in the realm of the Jedi Master's Rank 4 power level...
Because Jaicen has been trained in this, I'm assuming that ICly he knows the limits of his ability to influence others (even if you OOCly need to check these things) -- so I'll leave it up to you to either edit your post a bit, or keep it like this and have the attempt fail and provide a learning moment ^_^
PS. I plan on posting on friday, so update your post before then if you want to do so.))

"Thats enough Jaicen, control yourself!"
Ariana stepped back and slowly distanced herself from the group.
Ariana telepathically contacted Jaicen. "Get out of the group now, before you hurt yourself, or worse before they hurt you."
After receiving the message from Gistor moments later Ariana responded to his message.
"Thank you for this information. I am afraid the situation will get worse before it get's better. We will try to stay at some distance for now."

((OOC: @Jaicen: The Intuition attribute is for the mental attribute for sensing, can can indeed be used to sense the correct course of action. However, Jaicen's approach has been very confrontational, and there are no "good words" to make this right at this moment. So, he has to resort to the use of the Energy attribute: since that is also 5, his check final check of 11 is enough, but only just so: check Approved.))
The younger priest was about to react to Jaicen's accusation of being a "heathen word-twister" when Jaicen turned around to walk away and immediately turned back as he waves his hand in the traditional manner.
"These are not the supply goods I am looking for.", the priest repeated after him a little hesitantly. Unfortunately, this did very little to change his mood, or the fact that there was an angry mob standing behind him that reacted poorly to their religious leader being called a "heathen word-twister" by some off-worlder!
Several of the more muscled members of the mob moved forward to stand between the priest and Jaicen, while several others grabbed their clubs and started slowly walking towards TG-100 and Jaicen. From the way they carried themselves, and their expressions it was clear that this was not end going to end well if they reach him.
Luckily for Jaicen, the Praetorian soldiers guarding the supply unloading gave them pause, and the two Jedi were able to safely get away from the mob and fall back to the supply unloading platform near the road. The mob followed, but stayed at about thirty meters from the supply depot, where they started to chant some form of prayer.
The situation seemed stable for now, giving the Jedi some time to discuss before the bishop would arrive.

Gistor rejoined the group when he was done with his calls: "So what is the situation? I see you managed to keep the people at peace, as they are resorting to prayer?"
"Yes, We did keep the peace it seems. Since these are not the supply goods they were looking for: I have no clue what they are looking for now with this prayer."
Jaicen tries to understand what they are praying about, and if he does not understand their language, he asks Danar for a translation. "Did you get a time estimate, if they have to wait a long time, they might get angry again and more people will join."

((OOC: For the record: only the young priest was affected -- which is why the rest of the mob still went after you two. It is up to your characters how you want to interpret the mob's actions, but I wanted to make sure that this was clear on the OOC level.))
((OOC: Yes it is clear OC to me.))

Darones Rei - PC
Darones observed the developments from a distance, at the moment he wasn't very keen on getting involved. Jaicen's efforts to resolve the situation seemed succesful enough, at least to calm the crowd down a bit.
So instead Darones turned his attention to the logistical situation, which was in a bit of a pinch. With more shipments coming in and limited storage space, he suspected that they would need to shore up some more suitable facilities soon. So he went to the researchers to ask if they could help
"For now we seem to be able to handle the influx of goods, but I suspect that will change soon. We may need to divert some of the flow to a place with facilities more suitable to handle this kind of goods. Do you know of such a place, which we might be able to use for a few days at first?
Alternatively, we could bring in a crew and set up temporary facilities ourselves. I'll envision we would need permission from all the relevant authorities but given the suspected length of this aid program it might just do the trick for us. Would you be willing to work with us on this?"

Danar Gistor is not able to translate the prayer, because the people in the mob are chanting out of sync, and it seems that some members of the mob are using another language, making it even more difficult to determine what they are saying.
Darones, meanwhile, discussed with the scientists. "I see. I'm afraid that this is one of the bigger cities on Kons, and specifically selected because it has the best warehousing facilities. It is also far away from the epicenters, making it less likely to get hit significantly, which might destroy the supplies...
Your alternative sounds good. A pity that members of the relevant authorities are currently outside chanting about your corrupting heathen ways.", he said with a hint of sarcasm, "I'm willing to work with you, but unless that mob calms down my assistance is not going to be enough."
Luckily, the Jedi did not have to wait long before Danar Gistor's earlier call for reinforcements proved fruitful. About fifteen minutes after Gistor contacted Grand Bishop Nanteek Adool, a vessel started it's descent towards the camp. As it comes closer, the Jedi see that it is a big shuttle painted in several shades of blue with a large white symbol painted on both sides. Jaicen recognizes the symbol as one of the many holy symbols he saw while in the library, it is the symbol of Mo'Irin, the god of windws and breathable air. Given that space travel requires breathable air, Mo'Irin is a very popular god.
After the shuttle sets down its engines shut down, and the hatch opens dramatically to extend a ramp while light fog rolls down from the shuttle's twin engines. After the ramp is fully extended three figures walk down the ramp. The first figure is a neimoidian wearing a large bishoply hat and a long brown robe. He has a stern expression, and calmly walks down the ramp while the other two walk behind him to the left and right.
The second figure is a muscular togruta wearing a mandalorian armour, though without helmet and clearly painted over in the same blues. The symbol seen on the shuttle was prominently displayed on the armour's chest. He has two blasters hanging from his belt, and carries a wooden staff.
The third figure is a near-human woman in her late twenties, wearing a modest dark-blue dress. She wears her brown hair in two braided buns on the sides of her head. Her neck is adnored with a silver necklace from which dangles a pendant made from a shared of blue-ish crystal.
The neimoidian bows to the Jedi.
"Greetings Jedi", he speaks with a warm voice, "I am Loshro Dunefis, bishop of Mo'Irin. It is my honor to meet you here in person in our time of need."
"These are my assistants: Kupud Umakra", he gestures to the togruta, who gives a short nod to the Jedi, "my trusted advisor in security matters, and Lady Vitress", he gestures to the human as she makes a perfect bow to greet the Jedi, "my assistant in matters of a spiritual nature."
The bishop looks around the camp for a moment to take in the scenerey. His attention is drawn to the command tent, which he starts walking towards, his two companions following suit.
As he walks, the continues: "Grand bishop Nanteek Adool was not able to go into detail about the situation. Please do elaborate on what is going on."
