[Darones Rei]

As Darones re-entered their ship with Shebi, he first checked the flight-systems and bearing, to ensure their flight was still stable and within docking parameters.

Satisfied, he took his seat and opened a secure channel to the Jedi Council, in order report their progress so far and put in their request for 50 million credits, to facilitate the deal with the Hutt.

" Master, " Darones said as inclined his head to the appearing holographic projection " We have sought contact to report our initial findings and to request your approval for a transfer of funds. "

[Jedi Master Screetor]

"I will approve the transfer right away. It should arrive momentarily"

Fortunately, transfering information through the quantum entangled secure channel the four Jedi had with the Council ensured the transfer could go quickly and easily without risk of interception.

"Be careful and may the Force be with you."

The credits arrived soon after.

The Hutt meanwhile nervously eyed Ariana, sitting back silently with a look on his face saying 'phew!'. The Ultramarines seemed more pleased with the cooperation of the Hutt right now, though it was clear there was still a lot of animosity between them.

"I will need access to a holonet communicator." Leba reported. "And we should fly to the Belgonxi system. The Red Troop is giving an Arena demonstration there and rumour has it they are selling some pretty heavy weapons there too. If I come in and repay my debt, I can probably get you in as a potential buyer... that would be good, yeees?"

The Belgonxi system was another backwater system in the same sector and going there wouldn't take long.

((OOC: If nobody objects, I will move the story along to the next phase))

Ariana stayed vigilant and responded with: "Go ahead."

[Nebesnogo Sveta]

Nebesnogo sits at a small bench form where he can keep an eye on the Hutt and started cleaning out his blaster rifle.

In no time the bench was covered in parts of the blaster rifle that the young mudry was carrying. During the check every hollow tube that the rifle contained was used as a kind of "binocular" to look at the hutt while he was carrying out his business. "Hey Ariana did you know that a Automatik Kalashnikov 474 can easily shoot trough a centimetre or two of durasteel." He says out loud hard enough for the Hutt to hear him, while he aims the energy projector of his gun somewhere in the vicinity of the Hutt in the pretence of checking it out.

[Darones Rei]

Thank you, Master Darones said as he closed the holo-channel and waited for the requested funds, which arrived soon thereafter. Before taking them out, Darones counted them and noted the transfer into the ships log.

" It's all here, Miss Shebi " Darones stated " How do we proceed now? We can't just simply carry it to our 'guest' without any guarantees, nor do I trust the Ultra-marines if we bring in 50 million credits just like that. "

[Shebi Ajava]

"It's simple Darones", the veolian padawan started, "We give the money to the Red Troop ourselves -- the Hutt is not really in any position to start throwing around demands, even though he might act like he can."

After answering Darones she went back to the ultramarines' ship to see if the Hutt made any progress.

[Mercury]

Nebesnogo was a very motivating presence for the Hutt, who took surprisingly little time to get in touch with the Red Troop.

"Yes, yes, I have your money! I am a man of my word, I told you I would get it and now that I do, you don't even have to come looking for me. I'm coming to you! It's good business, yeeeees?"

The Hutt made a good attempt to convince his contact, a Rodian with a nasty scar spreading from the corner of his mouth.

"And I can make you even more money, I got some buyers - they have loads of money. How do you think I got to repay my debt? Come on, you can't miss this opportunity!"

From the improved look on his contact's face, what the Hutt was telling him was working.

"Alright, Leba, bring them in. But no funny business. We shoot people who do funny business and you look too funny for your own good."

The Hutt let out a deep laugh before ending the transmission, which also seemed to end his laugh almost immediately.

"You're in and pleased, right, but you still need me to give you a good introduction, yeees?" Leba stated - the Hutt's plan wasn't all that advanced, but his conclusion that remaining crucial to the plan was an important part of staying alive wasn't all that far from the truth, given the way some of the Ultramarines looked at him.

[Ariana Danacia]

"Yes we will bring you. If you do this right you might even get a bonus. Although if something goes wrong you will be the first to be shot."

[Shebi Ajava]

"We have the credits. I'll talk with the ultramarines to see what level of support they can offer during the operation", Shebi Ajava said through the comms.

Shebi Ajava moved back to the ultramarines' ship and went to the same ultramarine they were talking to before.

"Ok. We have the funds available. We'll hold on to the credits until we're face to face with one of the leaders of the Red Troop -- this will make sure the Hutt doesn't try anything funny.

Do you have an idea about the kind of support your team can offer us during the meet? I'd like to help you change the Red Troops management, but we'll need backup once the talking stops."

[Mercury]

"Bonus?" the Hutt's attention perked. "Bonusses are good." he concluded - Ariana got the distinct feeling the Hutt would be cooperative - between bonusses on one side and the fear of death on the other, the team had properly motivated him.


"We will hide on your ship." the Ultramarine explained to Shebi Ajava."We have technology that prevents scanners from detecting our life-signs.

Once you are on board, we will enter behind you and prepare to support you where necessary. Just give us a signal when you need us.

Meanwhile, we'll ensure our intelligence is still up to date. Situations have a tendency to change on you. If there aren't any problems, we'll point out the new leader we want to install. Does this work for you?"

[Ariana Danacia]

Ariana seemed confident that they could pull this off. With the Hutt in their pocket and the Ultramarines as backup they were doing pretty well.

"Alright, I think we are ready, lets get to the rendezvous. "

[Shebi Ajava]

While Ariana declared that she was ready to go, Shebi Ajava replied to the Ultramarine.

"Make sure that you also inform us if there are problems. It would be a pity for this mission to end in failure, despite our cooperation."

After talking to the Ultramarine, Shebi Ajava checked her gear and walked over to the Hutt.

"Ok let's go. Remember Leba, if there's any 'funny' business your debt is the last of your worries."

Shebi Ajava again went back to the padawans' ship.

[Darones Rei]

While Shebi went back to get the others and the Hutt, Darones started preparations to start the decoupling procedure and layed in a course to the system given to them by the Hutt.

He then contacted Shebi over the comm: " Course is layed in, and we are ready to decouple once all are on board. "

[Nebesnogo Sveta]

Nebesnogo had put his rifle back together and stood next to Shebi Ajava the rifle in his hands making a slightly odd sight whit him being less than half her hight.

"And Leba after you." He said indicating the doorway with his rifle.

[Mercury]

Everyone made their way onto the Winged Star - it was a bit crowded, and the life-support system was working overtime, but it was not a long trip so despite a cramped feeling, nobody would be worse for wear.

After about a few hours the team reached the station where they were to meet the Red Troop, which was floating in the atmosphere of a gas giant to collect the gasses there. The large Hutt made his way to the communication console, knocking some knees in the process, and arranging the official landing.



As the ship made its way through the upper cloud deck to the stations level, the Ultramarines one by one closed their eyes, stopping any and all movement - it seemed almost as if they were meditating, or sleeping, but whatever they were doing, it was quite effective at masking their life-signs, masking their presence from the sensor sweep that was made of the ship before it landed.

"I should go out first." Leba explained as the ship set down and he moved hastily to the ship's ramp "Or they will be surprised and they might shoot everyone. You do not want to be shot, yeeeees?" he inquired just to make sure.

[Shebi Ajava]

"No. I'll go out together with you, Leba. After all, I can't shoot you for betraying us if I don't see you."

"The rest of you, stay alert.", she directed towards the other padawans.

[Ariana Danacia]

"I will wait on the ship next to the ramp. Just signal us when we can come."

[Mercury]

Leba and Ajava walked off the ramp of the ship together heading into the station. The Rodian that Leba had spoken to before was already waiting for them.

"So you actually showed up... you must be serious then." The Rodian stated, patting the rifle resting on his shoulder. "Tell me you weren't lying about the money."

"Never!" Leba denied, pretending to be hurt by the suggestion.

[Shebi Ajava]

Shebi Ajava addressed the Rodian: "I've got the money with me, but Leba won't be getting it unless this deal works out.", she smiled at the Rodian, "So if the deal is not going to work out, the most you'll have is a dead Hutt."

[Ariana Danacia]

Ariana waits on the ship looking out for any surprises.

When they are ready Ariana will follow them to the Red Troop leader.

[Mercury]

"Good..." the Rodian did not seem entirely convinced, but reasoning that the woman who was with Leba probably didn't trust the Hutt either, he figured he would be okay.

"My friend here wants to talk to the leader directly." Leba explained to the Rodian "She will not talk to anyone else about this."

The hutt gave Shebi Ajava a look a moment to make sure she noticed he was trying to get her to the Red Troop leader. The Rodian looked the Padawan over carefully, seeming doubtful a moment.

"She will give you the money then." Leba added, and this was enough to convince the Rodian, who nodded and began to lead the way deeper into the station.

((OOC: Anyone who wants to go with Shebi should move out now - anyone who doesn't can also move out once they have left and explore the station. It has a cantina not far from the docking bay. The Ultramarines will leave the ship once the Rodian is gone - once everyone is off the ship, I will skip ahead to the meeting with the Red Troop leader and run any station exploration in parallel.))

Follows the Rodian, paying careful attention to her surroundings. ((OOC: Force Level 5 + Vision 4))

By now Nebesnogo had acquired a new communicator and was gearing up to have a look around the station.

he then went to find Darones. "Hello Darones would you mind accompanying me for a look around the station. I don't want to go without backup."

[Darones Rei]

Whilest Shebi and Leba were outside, arranging to meet with their intended targets, Darones meanwhile followed the docking procedures, ran the necessary system checks and started to power down the ship, so that they could go out and into the station. After a while Nebesnogo came by and requested his company for some sightseeing around the station.

" Sure, " Darones responded to Nebesnogo's request, " Just let me make sure everything is secure and powered down, then I'll grab my gear and join you for a look around. But we shouldn't go to far out, should Shebi and the others need our help."

[Ariana Danacia]

Ariana jumps out of the ship and flies towards Shebi Ajava. She lands a few meters behind Shebi Ajava and Leba.
"I will be right behind you miss Shebi."
Ariana follows Shebi Ajava, Leba and the Rodian at a short distance, looking around for any surprises.
