((OOC: Unfortunately, normal weapons don't give bonuses like that... I know that my soldier earlier on had a nice bump in offensive output due to the weapon -- but sometimes I have my NPCs cheat a little to make things more interesting. See it as him being well-trained in the use of the Z-6. In fact, the Z-6 weapon already attacks on 2 rings, making it much more powerful than a normal blaster!

Quickly he jerks out the feedback channel and reverses the polarity of the charge crystal. This should provide a little extra juice before burning up the weapon.
"Taste my bug spray, now with extra laser!"
The last bit of power flows in the gun like a tidal wave, creating a deadly burst of high powered lasers, aimed at the Blue enforcer. No way that this sniper is up to any good, and better to foil his plan prematurely than to use his action against him later.
The rotary blaster starts to smoke, and glow dangerously red. With the last few shots, a loud *DANG* and *ZZZZZZZKKGGGHHSS* indicates the end of the blaster.
When Pinky fires her first shots, Trigiel blocks the shots with the dead blaster. Then the padawan rolls to the side avoiding the Ochre assault. Just in time he activates his lightsabers to fend of the second round of blaster shots.

Nathan figured Blue was waiting for him to put away his sabre or scramble when the turret fell after the missiles brought it down. To bad for Blue and Grey, he had no intention of cooperating with their plan.
Nathan stood his ground. Not moving an inch. He let the missiles impact the turret. Using his Telekinesis he made adjustments in the fall of debris, making sure one of the larger pieces landed in front of him, creating cover for him. Now he had some cover, he prepared a thermal detonator.

Ariana switched her blaster pistol to full automatic, knowing that this could overheat the weapon. Ariana did not hesitate and rushed straight through the incoming missiles, guided by the force, towards the green enforcer. Ariana circled around the green enforcer like a tornado firing her blaster at him for 6 long seconds. While bursting at least 100 blaster shots towards him with the blaster in her left claw she made multiple quick cuts with her lightsaber that she had in her right claw. The cuts were aimed at the weak spots at his arms and the lower part of his torso.
Noticing that the blaster was already glowing after a few seconds she decides that it is better to holster it now before it completely overheats.

Trigiel
((OOC: Check approved.))
Trigiel's abuse of the Z-6 power pack lets him project a truly fearsome wave of blaster bolts towards Blue, forcing him to dodge the oncoming tsunami of destruction in an awkward manner. The stunted dodge brings the Blue enforcer off-balance.
The Ochre and Pink enforcers are faring much better, even with Trigiel grabbing his lightsaber they remain a threat. Just after his roll, Trigiel discovers why these guys are all wearing powersuits: with his feet still on the Ochre enforcer simply jumps up and twists into a barrel roll, his vibroblades held in front of him and whirling around at high velocity. And he is coming straight at Trigiel!
What's worse, the Pink enforcer is proving that the colour of her suit is anything but an indication of cuteness as she takes off from the ground again, two sleek missile pods moving into place on her shoulders. While her energy-based wings following her at a languid pace, making it seem as if she is floating through the water, she takes aim with her blaster and fires another controlled burst at Trigiel's shoulder. This time, the burst is followed by a hiss as her missile pods fire a salvo of twelve micro-missiles, each missiles leaving a glowing pink trial of ionized air as they home in on Trigiel.
Ariana
((OOC: Opposed check failed (though you were only off 1 point)))
Though Ariana is a capable flyer, the Green enforcer proves to be a very proficient aerial combatant as he deftly dodges and parries the onslaught of blaster bolts with his saber. Though he is not fazed, it is clear that he has to keep has attention fully on Ariana, lest she outmanoeuvre him.
With both combatants now equipped with lightsabers, the fight was on for real. The Green enforcer opens with a few strong slashes, to determine Ariana's strengths in the air. After trading a few blows, the Green enforcer feints a downward slash, and at the last moment swivels two of his thrusters to Ariana and produces a cloud of thick black smoke as into which he jets backwards and away from Ariana while he blocks the counter. It seems he does not like his chances against Ariana's clearly more offence oriented combat style.
Nathan
((OOC: Influencing multiple objects requires Telekinesis 2. So, Check partially approved. Rocks fall, you are off-balance.))
As the turret came down, Nathan stood his ground. Using telekinesis he is able to steer the largest of the blocks coming his way into a position in front of him. Just before his sight was temporarily blocked by a the cloud of dust and debris from the tower he sees that the Blue enforcer has to dodge a massive burst of blaster fire from Trigiel, bringing the Blue enforcer off-balance as he has to dodge in an awkward manner. Incidentally, the falling debris does the same to Nathan, bringing him off-balance as well.
As the dust settles and Nathan's vision returns, it is clear that his choice to stand his ground was the correct one. He now enjoys the protection of the chunk of tower he redirected as he prepares to use the grenade. However, the Blue and Grey enforcer are strafing through the air, circling around so they have a clear shot again... As the Grey enforcer launches another salvo of missiles at Nathan's position, Nathan realizes his protection will only last until they are done repositioning.
((OOC: For clarity: Blue and Grey are circling around to negate your defensive advantage action. And they are at quite some distance ~50-60 meters.))

((OOC: You are right, I made a copy/paste error there (nobody spotted it, even though his offense of 6 with the -2 first round penalty makes him at least force level 7 or 8, which can not explain the 5 and 6 in the defence ratings; I should have caught that one during my final readover). The round 1 defensive stats of Green are copied from Pink. He has actually has 12/12/10 (instead of the listed 9/5/6) on defence in round 1... T_T
FYI: I'm updating my previous post to reflect his higher score -- this post contains his old score for the record, and all other things won't break. (He also has an offense rating of 10 T_T, though that doesn't change anything in the combat resolution, luckily)
I understand that this changes the situation significantly. By now you already know the result of the other's actions and the required level of the check to actually outmanoeuvre him -- I think it will be difficult to make a 'I would have done this' edit with all this extra knowledge... I'm not sure how to correct the situation, how would you propose to correct this?))

As I explicitly stated, I wanted to keep only 2 to 3 of them on active combat, and keep the rest around to muck up the combat area. This saves me half an hour of work every combat post. Previous round them having no tags was fine, so I assumed that it was fine for this round as well.

((OOC: Ok thank you. You can consider the part I edited in my previous post as non-existant.))
Ariana is aware that she completely underestimated this opponent. The green enforcer is clearly a powerful force user that might even be stronger than she is. Ariana decides that she is probably not going to win in a 'fair' fight.
Ariana continues to duel the green enforcer with quick short saber attacks how you would expect them from a aggressive duelist that uses Ataru.
With her free claw Ariana activated and lopped one of the thermal grenades, that were hanging on her belt, into the air. Knowing that the timer was on three seconds she immediately caught the active grenade with telekinesis and hovered it at a short distance behind the green enforcer. The grenade was directly behind the enforcer, out of his sight and just out of reach from his light saber if he decided to make a long sweep around him.
Just before the grenade was about to explode Ariana said "Catch!" and simultaneously did a controlled back-flip and pushed the green enforcer back with the force of her wings and some added telekinesis, directly into the explosion. The explosion would put the green enforcer into a very uncomfortable dodging move which Ariana would capitalize on by continuing her saber battering on him with several short cuts and stab moves.

Seeing the grey enforcer launch another wave of missiles, Nathan throws the thermal grenade.
It detonates right in their path, the shock wave detonating the missiles or knocking them from their trajectory.
Using the smoke for cover, Nathan quickly hides by jumping into a hole in the turret base made by one of the missiles that impacted earlier. Leaving the case out in the open. His trap set, he waits for the enforcers to go for the case.
((OOC: I'm not sure what kind of action setting a trap is. I'll claim it as an offensive advantage action since it stands to reason a trap gives offensive advantage. If it doesn't qualify as an offensive advantage action, I would still like to use my trap even without any bonus ;).))

Seeing the micro-missiles, Trigiel realised that those were probably aimed at his signature. Luckily, the enforcer suits also are made of something like durasteel, so his signature and the one of the Ochre enforcer should look al lot like the same.
Knowing this, Trigiel had to do 2 things: getting out the way of the missiles, and taking out one of the two enforcers. So Trigiel does what he does best: Combine his goals. First Trigiel moves closer to the Ochre enforcer, and uses his lightsaber so fend of the vibroblades. Better, by moving towards Ochre, he forces Ochre to actually back off if Ochre did not wants to be caught in missile fire. For every missile fired, Trigiel jumps and dodges around the Ochre assailant, escaping the explosions of the micro-missiles, but keeping the Ochre enforcer in the explosion area.
For the last missile Trigiel makes a pirouette to pass the vibro blades, runs towards miss Pink and in one jump he cut her suit in the arm pits, and then the head.

((OOC: My now-collapsed OOC post was not answered today. As said there, I do not want to hold this up for another half-week.
@Trigiel: Go read the linked post and fix your stats! If this changes the results of the battle, we'll roll with it.))
Trigiel
((OOC: I think you're stretching the amount of actions that can be packed into a single turn a little. As I see it you're effectively doing three things (out of the two you're allowed to do): 1) Take the Offensive Advantage by dancing around Ochre, 2) run and jump up high to get to Pink, 3) attack Pink. Now, I know that the whole movement issue is not really addressed in the rules, and with good reason, so I'm not putting much weight on it by itself -- just be aware that there is a limited amount of time per round, and that fancy movement might require a separate check featuring the Athletics skill or even the Acrobatics skill.
Next to that, I understand how this is making the world a worse place for the Ochre enforcer: having to dodge missiles intended targeted at your enemy is not fun. But I fail to see how this would lead to an offensive advantage if Trigiel immediately runs off after doing so... By running away immediately you're giving Ochre space to recover without actually pressing the advantage. Because of this, I'm going to declare your advantage failed.
It did not give it the result is "denied" because the action as is is fine, it's what you do with it that makes it a failure. I know that it is within the rules for Trigiel to pull this trick. If you feel I have to justify myself further, I will gladly elaborate on my reasoning and underlying philosophy of the FWURG combat system if you want, though please open a separate thread for it -- this OOC remark is already way too long T_T))
Trigiel's dance around the Ochre enforcer worked. His fast dodging and weaving, combined with his knowledge of the most likely capabilities of these micro-missiles, allowed him to prevent any missile from reaching him. In the process he even forced the Ochre enforcer to dodge a few missiles initially meant for Trigiel. The combined assault of Ochre and Pink is not enough to impact Trigiel in a meaningful way, though a few of their attacks come to close for comfort.
Trigiel's quick jumping around even makes two missiles collide in mid-air, harmlessly blowing up before reaching anything. In a surprise move, Trigiel suddenly dashes towards the Pink enforcer, catching her off-guard as he jumps into the air to attack her. In a single swipe he literally disarms her, making her scream out in pain loud enough for Ariana and the Green enforcer to hear before she passes out and she starts to fall.
Just as he is about to finish the job and behead her, he feels a a danger behind him through the Force. Before he can finish Pink, the Ochre enforcer is on him again. With his thrusters spouting flames and a yellow-bladed lightsaber aimed straight for Trigiel's chest in a fierce charge through the air, Ochre forces Trigiel to defend himself!
In the distance, Trigiel sees the Blue enforcer breaking formation with Grey to head towards him and Ochre.
((OOC: For clarity: Pink is defeated on three rings, and is therefore out.))
Ariana
((OOC: I think that the flight skill is for flying. One could use it combined with telekinesis if one were to subtly nudge a paper plane... Furthermore, using telekinesis on an object does not make it invisible or hard to spot. If you want to play the shell game (which is basically what you want to do by keeping the grenade out of sight), you'll have to use Stealth instead of Flight. This substitution brings your check down to 17, which is approved (though the result is slightly different from what you want due to complications).
As a point of advice, you might want to work the opponents manoeuvre into your post. I'm giving some leeway here because of the fact that flying allows you to more easily manoeuvre, but it seems as if you try to counter it be ignoring it's existence. Be careful with that :P))
Even with Green on the defensive, his strong attacks are enough to bring Ariana off-balance. Unfortunately for him, his defensive manoeuvre appears to have little effect other than making Ariana bring out her own toy-box of dirty tricks. Green is not fool though, and while Ariana must keep part of her concentration on the grenade to hover it around behind him, he makes sure to make it difficult for her.
Just after Ariana calls "Catch!" the pair hears a bone-chilling scream of pain from the ground. In reaction to her action, the Green enforcer kills his thrusters completely, starting his free-fall to the ground. Ariana quickly capitalizes on this by battering on him and forcing him to defend against a series of aggressive attacks, bringing him off-balance as he hits the ground with a *thunk*
Reacting with the speed of a trained combatant, the Green enforcer makes a one-handed sweep with his saber as he extends his empty hand towards Ariana. The metal coverings on his arm come loose and turn out to be wicked sharp metal shards he propels with telekinesis! As he makes an attack with the metal shards from one side, he parries and attacks with Ariana's other side with his saber.
To make matters worse, the Blue enforcer has chosen this moment to take aim at Ariana, and being very confident in his aim, fires a high-velocity sniper slug at her from his high-up aerial position. After he fires his shot, he loads another bullet into his rifle while he lands on the high-up rock outcropping Ariana was on earlier (when the enforcer transports approached). From there, he uses the steady ground to take aim once more.
((OOC: For clarity: instead of gaining an offensive advantage, you removed the defensive advantage action of Green. And you are both off-balance for this round.))
Nathan
((OOC: Your check is approved, and you get the offensive advantage. However, these opponents are no dime a dozen computer-played bots. They are trained operatives. They know you were just there, and they know that you can't suddenly have disappeared. So, even though they don't see you any more they're in no hurry to rush into your trap. Either you're still there but invisible in which case they don't want to be there. Or you're gone and they can focus their efforts on the other combatants.
For the record: a grenade attacks only the outer ring, so your attack ratings should have been 6
/ -
/ -
as explained in the non-saber combat rules. In this case it does not matter because you detonate the grenade in between you and the enforcers, but keep it in mind for further combats.))
Nathan's well-timed grenade created the perfect explosion cloud for him to jump into a hiding hole, and to steer most of Grey's missile off course. During the explosion, he vaguely hears a scream in the distance, but the sound is drowned out by the nearby thermal detonator explosion. Guided by the Force, Nathan waits to spring his trap. His field of Vision is somewhat constricted, though he can clearly see the case and it's surroundings. Now he simply has to wait for someone to come up to the case so that he can spring his trap...
However, even after some time, no one landed near the case. His training allows him to hear the thrusters of two enforcers, one moving away from him almost immediately after the explosion and the other moving away seconds later.
((OOC: Pfew. These N-vs-M combats really require a lot of work from the ST. Hopefully I haven't made as many errors as I did in the previous round.))

Ariana quickly followed the green enforcer down to the ground using the force to keep up with him. Instead of landing she tries to stay in the air and violently flaps her wings to hover next to him. When the green enforcer sweeps around with his saber Ariana saw her chance. Instead of blocking the attack like he expected she barely dodged the hit by quickly ducking and tilting her complete body away.
For a split second it looked like Ariana would make a complete roll away from him and make some distance to regroup herself. However when she dodged the attack her large tail swept around and wrapped around the leg of the green enforcer. Her tail hit his leg with the sound of a whip while it wrapped around the leg on the side where he was extending his arm, giving a strong pull to his leg before it released him. Using the momentum Ariana sweeps her lightsaber around and lashed out with it aiming for the shoulder of the extended arm. The attack was followed by two short fast cuts.
Ariana tried to dodge the incoming metal shards, however due to the fact that she had grabbed the enforcer with her tail it was really hard to dodge them all. She tried to deflect some of them with her lightsaber, just like she would have done with incoming blaster bolts in her Soresu training.

((OOC: There are no skills that are applicable to the use of a cool combat move. This is logical, since the saber moves are already calculated into the style bonus and weapon bonus. Furthermore, I do think that the move is awkward to execute with a Tonfa handle since they do not offer the same range of grips a normal hilt offers, so take that into account in future combats! That said, coming up with cool moves and using them is a good tactic so I am declaring this check approved.
I have already requested this once, but it was ignored then, so here goes again: please include on your Jedi page all three lightsaber configurations. Looking up those combinations myself costs me ten extra minutes per post every time.))
The Ochre enforcer had not counted on Trigiel producing a second saber out of thin air. Trigiel expertly blocks the attack of the Ochre enforcer as he slams into the cyborg jedi. Though Trigiel manages to block the lethal attack, it leaves him staggering back with the force of the blow, while the Ochre enforcer reels back from the impact as well.
The Ochre enforcer, seeing the Green enforcer being defeated and his immediate opponent staggering back from his strong attack, decides that this is the correct moment to retreat. He makes a wide sweep to prevent Trigiel from approaching too fast, jets backwards to dodge the next attack and tries to grab Pink's body while he activates his boosters to blast into the sky.
From the corner of his one eye, Trigiel spots the Grey enforcer moving in the hover over the shuttle on the landing pad -- he is taking aim at Trigiel.
((OOC: You're both off-balance. Since there are nor rules on retreats, I'm ruling the following for this case: if Ochre can is not stopped he will be out of melee range next round.))

Ariana's fast sweep-attack catches the Green enforcer off-guard. Even though he blocks Ariana's strong sweep, he literally is blown back by the force behind her manoeuvre. Before he fully recovers she presses her attack, deflecting nearly all the metal shards as she rushes him. As one of the metal shards tears through her right wing, Green is able to take one last desperate sweep at Ariana, nearly hitting her in her arm, but Ariana proves to fast for him. He weakly parries her fast cuts, but her second cut sliced into his powersuit and he slams into the concrete wall with enough force to knock him out cold. As she easily dodges the slug fired by the Blue enforcer, Ariana can smell the tang of burnt flesh.
In the distance the Blue enforcer, a spectator to the defeat of the Green enforcer, grabs his radio and calls something in. From her position Ariana is unable to hear what it is. After he puts his radio back, he takes another shot at Ariana. After his shot, he slings the sniper rifle over his shoulder and grabs the rocket launcher Ariana dropped there from the ground. Taking a few steps back, so that the ledge of the high rocks give him some cover, he kneels and aims the rocket launcher. However, instead of taking aim at the Jedi, he aims for their ship on the beach, forcing at least on of them to reposition themselves between the ship and Blue -- simply rushing him won't work as he will have fired before he can be attack in melee...

Wasting your time this round is the consequence of setting a trap without thinking through the situation.
However, after thinking some more, I understand that me still listing Grey's combat block in Nathan's section might have confused the issue. Further, because Nathan utterly outclass Grey regardless of DCAs or Advantages I am not wasting Nathan's whole round -- but I urge you to try and understand the reasoning of my above point.

Nathan rushes out of his hiding spot, saber at the ready, to discover that the field of battle has changed significantly in the short period he couldn't observe it. Green is being driven into a wall by Ariana, Pink is down, Ochre is retreating, and the Blue enforcer is grabbing a rocket launcher form the ground.
His initial plan of raindrop tidal waving the Grey enforcer falls through as he spots the Grey enforcer at roughly 80 meters distance, hovering over the shuttle on the landing pad. From Nathan's point of view, it seems as if Grey is taking aim at Trigiel while he is distracted by an exchange of blows with Ochre.
((OOC: Next round you are free to engage Grey by speeding over there and jump-attacking him during your advance! An aside note: in the future, please note manoeuvres like Raindrop Tidal Wave in your combat block as well, that makes it easier to not forget them as ST.))
