At the moment Darones just waited and took up a seat at the bar as Ajava asked the bartender a question.

The bartender looked at the image intensely. Then it looked like he remembered something.

"Oh, yeah. Her. Yeah I remember her. Very polite. Ordered orange juice during happy hour." He shook his head with an amused look on his face as he spoke the last sentence.

"Last time I saw her, she was with someone. Uhm..." The bartender looked to a large male twi'lek. "He, Frank. You remember who that human chick, that was here just over a week ago, was with?"

The twi'lek, apparently named Frank, looked their way.

"Wasn't she with that tough looking chick? You know that pilot?" He answered.

"I'd love a printout of them together from your security recordings. Of course, I'll compensate you for the effort", Ajava told the barkeep while she shoved a few credit chits his way.

Then, walked over to the twi'lek.

"Can you describe them to me, and do you know where they went?", Ajava asked.

"Sure thing, missy." The bartender tapped a few buttons on the console behind the bar.

Frank, who was large in more ways than one, took a sip from a large tankard.

"I think she was a Zabrak, looked a bit shady to me. I got no idea where they could have gone, not my business anyway. Though I may have heard something about cash."

Frank squinted his eyes at Ajava and Darones.

"You two cops or something?"

"Or something.", Ajava replies.

"I get that it's none of your business. But it is my business, and I really want to hear what you have seen.", she drops a small stack of credist on the bar near Frank as she speaks.

While Ajava continued to question the bartender and this 'Frank', Darones roamed around the bar catching parts of conversations of the other guests and inquiring about whether or not they might have seen their missing comrade or heard something about her..

Frank took the credits from Ajava.

"Well that friend of yours definitely wanted to get away from Unity. That much I know for sure. By the way they talked about it, it sounded like they where going outside the Union.

Also she talked about meeting someone. Sounded like it was a guy. When they talked payment the pilot wanted cash upfront. That friend of yours got her to accept partially upfront."

Darones asked the other tenants, but most of them had never seen the woman in their entire life. The most useful comment he got was from a Wintorian that said:

"She had some weird tastes, eating pickles with sugar. But hey, humans. Am I right?"

"Thanks Frank", Ajava said with a smile, "if only everyone minded his own business like you, my work would be much easier."

Ajava collected her printouts from the barkeep and scrutinized the image for usable details while she waited for her padawan.

When the two were outside the cantina again, she asked "Did you get anything from the other patrons?"

((OOC: Check: approved))

Examining the printouts, Ajava quickly noticed a zabrak woman with a human woman. At least... it was probably a human woman who the zabrak was with.

The figure somehow managed never to get caught in a holocam angle that would allow for a positive ID. At least for any computer or droid. A feat impossible for anyone other then a very skilled Force user. So there was a good chance it was Irina.

The zabrak woman was easier. There where a few shots that would be perfect for identifying her. If she was a pilot or crew member of a starship the Jedi would be able to track her initial destination. But that would take time. And at the moment it was not their objective.

Looking over the printouts one more time, Ajava noticed the time stamps on the printouts. There where only two different dates. The most recent of the three was right on the day of Irina's disappearance. The oldest one was just over a month ago. Which was strange considering the testimony from Irina's roommate, that implied Irina had gone out more often.

Looking at all the information they had already gathered the two jedi could already report back to Master Leithor. Or they could try to find out more about where Irina had been and try to find out more about what was going on with the Jedi Knight.

"I'm afraid that the others couldn't offer anything useful Master, most of them said that they had never seen her before and I have no reason not to believe them."

Darones responded after which he looked at the printouts.

"So what now, other then that woman," as Darones pointed at the zabrak woman on the printout, "we have no more leads and I dont particularly feel for a long chase."

"Your feelings are not relevant in this, padawan.", Ajava replied dryly after Darones' remark. "We are tasked with finding out what happened, in up till now we have nothing of relevance. Though people say this woman is a pilot, we don't even know if knight Hightower left Unity with this woman."

She looked at her padawan in silence.

"You say most people said they haven't seen her. So there were a few that did see her. Since we only have a single lead like you say, anything might help. What did they say?"

"There was a Wintorian seemed the recognise her, though his intell wasn't really anything at all, except from the fact that he accused her of having 'weird' tastes, like eating her pickles with sugar. We could question him further, but I don't think that we'd learn anything more, let alone something useful."

((OOC: I'm assuming you are still standing in front of the bar.))

The bartender came rushing out of the bar. Seeing Ajava and Darones he approached them.

"Good, your still here." He started. "I just remembered, a few days ago two cops came by here looking for that pilot your friend was with. Even showed a copy of her piloting licence."

He handed over a few printouts. The Unity law enforcement officers looked a bit on the rough side and the size of their uniform was a bit off.

"They where also very interested in your friend. They received a call that someone had booked a flight to Hyrion together with another. The replied that that other was your friend. And then they left."

"Thank you", Ajava reacted as she accepted the printouts. Part of her mind was still matching her knowledge of humans with the described events.

After the bartender left again, she looked over the prinouts. It was obvious that these two weren't law enforcement at all; in fact, they seemed to be bad imposters. After looking them over, she handed the printouts to her padawan to look them over.

"I think we better infom unity police of the fact that there are two imposters running around. If we assume that these two goons were speaking the truth, and that the barkeep heard them correctly, we know one of the likely destinations of knight Hightower. And based on what I have heard, I also suspect the reason for her behaviour.

Let's go back to the temple to infom master Leithor of our meagre results so far, and to inform Unity police that we would like a word with these imposters."

With that, Ajava started back to the temple.

Upon arrival, she informed her padawan to meet her at master Leithors rooms in ten minutes. She then went to her own quarters to write a short note to Union police:

From: Jedi Knight Shebi Ajava
To: Unity Police

Dear officer,

Attached to this message you will find the image of two men dressed as Unity law enforcement.

Based on their manner and dress I suspect that these men are imposters. If not, please inform me of their names as I would like a word with them. If they are not known officers, I would like a word with them upon their arrest as imposters. Should you have any leads but no man-power to do a follow-up I am willing to help out.

Regards,
Jedi Knight Shebi Ajava

After sending the message, Shebi Ajava went to the quarters of master Leithor.

Master Leithor was waiting for Darones and Ajava, when they arrived.

"Good you have returned. Tell me what you have found."

((OOC: You might want to watch how you phrase things: "I'm allowing you to present conclusions you made" has the conotation that normally this is not allowed and that we are being done a favour; which is a bit strange. Besides it is bloody obvious in the reply of Master Leithor that we should tell him what we found ^_^"))

"It does not seem that knight Hightower was abducted, master. It is more likely that she left of her own accord."

"We were able to retrace her steps before she vanished. She met with a Zabrak woman, a pilot, in the cantina she frequents. A few of the patrons there spotted her leaving with the pilot.", copied the datasheet printout to the holographic projector to show Master Leithor the few shots with the Zabrak and the cloaked figure.

"Knight Hightower's most likely destination is Hyrion, though that is second-hand information: the barkeep told us that two Unity law enforcement officers", the tone in which Ajava said those words left little doubt about the fact that she thought they were imposters, "were looking for the pilot. They were contact through comms while in the bar, and the barkeep overheard them being informed that someone booked a call to Hyrion together with knight Hightower."

"These are the two imposters", again, Ajava quickly copied the datasheet image to the holoprojector for easier viewing. "I have already written Unity Police about the my interest in the two."

"Furthermore, master, based on what I have learned about knight Hightower from her room mate, combined with the description of her behaviour by her padawan, and supported by her reported consumption pattern at the cantina I belief that knight Hightower is pregnant. Based on my knowledge of human physiology I would estimate she is in her second trimester, probably in month 4 or 5 of her term."

"What I do not understand is why she left the temple.", Ajava looked at the master with a questioning expression.

"Perhaps she has family or friends there,"

Darones opted as a possible explanation as to why Hightower would leave the temple,

"If she is indeed pregnant, I could imagine wanting to spend some time with them and not stay here in the temple, amongst relative strangers."

((OOC: It was more a notion you shouldn't idle. I should probably have phrased it a bit different.))

Master Leithor listened intently to Ajava's report and examined the printouts carefully. When she mentioned the police officers he looked worried.

However his expression darkened when she suggested Irina Hightower was pregnant.

"I would be more careful with accusations like that knight Shebi. I have known Irina Hightower since she was very little. She has always been a very good and loyal jedi. The suggestion alone could get her expelled from the Jedi Order. Suggesting it could also cause trouble for you."

He paused a moment.

"Irina has been with the jedi since she was five. The jedi have been her life ever since. We are no strangers to her.

I will present your findings to the Council. You are not to speak a word of this to anyone outside this room. Especially the suggestion she's pregnant. I will not allow the name of a good jedi to be run through the mud, based on speculation. Have I made myself perfectly clear?"

Master Leithor looked them both in the eye.

"Good. You are dismissed."

((OOC: And that's a wrap. This mission has now ended. You will get your reward when the report has been put on the story page.

Now before anyone starts a discussion about the jedi allowing themselves to have children and fall in love and stuff. Know that I asked Mercury's view on whether the jedi in FWURG where more like the Jedi Order from the prequels (not allowing love and such things) or like the Jedi Order Luke Skywalker created after Return of the Jedi (that does allow such things) before I started this mission. He said he said he viewed it more like the old Jedi Order. Now I know me and Mercury aren't the only ones with a say in this, just know I didn't just decide this for everyone. Also there are various solutions should it be decided the jedi are more like the new Jedi Order.))

"I see.", Ajava replies in a cool tone after master Leithor states that being pregnant is cause for expulsion. She knew that this was true, but having it said out loud like this it still jarred her.

"Yes master.", she replied with a bow after she is dismissed.

((OOC: I agree that this the Jedi order should be more like the old Order. It creates more strict order, which in turn makes it easier for PCs to decide that things need to change. Though this is a bit of change from what most people would expect given the behaviour of masters up till now, I think.))

You know that STs have to grant the (:xp) nowadays, right? How to do so was explained a while ago...

Now that I think on it, this should really go onto the wiki somewhere; regardless, you'll have to do it :P))

Yes I know.

Did you know that absolute perfection is not possible? And that nitpicking every little thing is therefore useless? :P))

Besides, striving for perfection is good thing :P And there is no such thing as absolute perfection, as thay would imply that perfection itself is not absolute ^_^

Anyway, I meant only helpful things. I will now calmly await no replies from Darones.))

"Yes Master," Darones replied after being dismissed and he left with a bow.

Outside the masters chambers, whilest walking back to his own rooms, darones considered the master's words and what he had learned during the mission. Somehow the master's opinion on the matter struck him as a little strange, how could being pregnant smeer the good name of a jedi.. where he was from been pregnant was generally a good thing, aspecially if one had been fortunate enough to be blessed with the gift of force sensitivity.

((OOC: I have no objections :P, the report looks fine to me.))
