Trigiel saw the woman readying her lightsaber for combat. Apparently there will be no talking, so time to prepare for hitting. He was so glad he packet some water jets, this certainly would come in handy.

Trigiel swam as silent as he could away from under the car, to the other side of the woman. This way, she wouldn't see him, but he would have some manoeuvrability. His short tonfa style lightsaber shoved from his arm pocket to into his hand, there he kept an eye out for the support.

As the woman moved closer, Ajava was forced to activate her blades lest she'd get cut, the blades connecting as she aggressively slammed into the woman.

The water severely limited the movement, and bubbles rose up from the blades as they boiled the water immediately surrounding the saber-beams. Taking advantage of the water, the woman switched to piercing strikes, swapping her style almost immediately after opening.

Had she noticed Trigiel? He could not be sure, but at the very least she was aware of his force signature.

((Combat, round 1: Attacking Shebi Ajava, Offensive DCA (+2 (:outer-attack)) (using piercing attacks combined with the water restricting movement).

((OOC: Inconsistent data in previous post:

B) Her stats on defence; it is impossible to make these scores with Makashi + any configuration of Manoeuvres + declared saber + force level deduced from Attack scores. Not saying this is wrong... Just checking since there were other errors.))

Just as the woman activates her saber, Ajava springs her trap. Pushing off from the bottom and she slams into the woman with great force, hoping to disorient the woman and, by taking advantage of her zero-g training, not get disoriented herself. As she connects Ajava lets go off her regular saber which, given how she built them, immediately deactivates as at starts to sink slowly. She grabs the woman by the arm with her free hand just after she parries the first piercing strike with her dagger.

Ajava uses the grab to pull herself over the woman (by pulling the woman down), pinning her opponent between the ground and her attacks as if manoeuvering her against a horizontal wall. At the last moment, she lets go of the woman and with a little help from the Force grabs her regular saber's hilt that was gently sinking, quickly activating the blade to protect against the next piercing strike.

((OOC: Wait, how does her DCA works? you describes how she stabs, which is an inner ring but claims an outer ring?))

Trigiel knew that he had to focus on the support first, so that is what he was going to do. No reason to make the knight angry as long it was not necessary. As long as Ajava was able to hold on, it was unnecessary for him to join the fight. Even though he loved to fight, analysing how the masters would fight was almost equally interesting.

Still, the padawan cyborg had something more important to do: keeping hidden and keeping an eye out for any support.

((OOC: Her DCA is suffering from all the same confusion as the entirety of the rest of that post. I'm leaving it as is.

Regarding the not attacking: we need clearer rules for this, so I'm opening a discussion for that.

Here's my ruling for this combat: your opponent is aware of you, but you dont have to post combat stats unless you are attacked. Trigiel maintains his -2 first round penalty until he actually fought in a round. No "doing nothing" to get out from under the first round penalties.

Shebi Ajava

Grabs and such have a direct influence on the opponent, so its probably best to formulate this as an attempt rather than a successfully completed manoeuvre. In this case, I don't mind, you let go of her at the end and it looks awesome, but against a player I might rule against you if they protested. As I said, this is fine here.

I think a pretty high score is required for the manoeuvre you're making. A 17 is a pretty high score. Your action is therefore approved.

Fecta Trigiel

I do not believe a check is required to look at people you could already see. Your action is therefore approved))

Keeping an eye on the others, Trigiel was quickly able to get a sense of them. They seemed very aprehensive, not moving either towards or away from their position, nor continuing their work. Were they scared to engage with a Jedi or simply apathetic towards the entire thing... regardless, they did appear to be watching.

And what a fight they were watching. Ajava and the woman grappling at one another, sabers flashing and stabbing as the Veolian woman moved herself into an advantageous position! Neither one really ever got close to hitting the other though, both sides still getting a grip of the other.

Changing strategies, the opposing woman shifted her focus to a more force driven strategy. Stretching out her free hand up towards Ajava, she appeared to be about to push Ajava back and up, but instead she flicked her wrist, throwing up sand and dirt from around the edge of the cliff to darken the waters - combined with the inherent darkness of the deep, this made vision basically impossible even with special sensors. Pushing through the darkness and using the force as her guide, the woman immidiately pressed the offensive, coming at Ajava seemingly from all sides!

((Combat, round 2: Attacking Shebi Ajava, Offensive Advantage Action (using dirt to darken water and make sneak attacks)

Above water, Ariana picked up on a small ship, at most big enough for 5 people, entering the atmosphere. It had apparently been in orbit though why they had not detected it earlier was uncertain - perhaps it had been hiding behind the planet? No way to be sure. More relevantly however, it was heading straight for her location!

To her surprise, Ajava enjoyed the lethal exchange of blows. She traded attacks and parries for a while, looking for an opening to get past the woman's defence. As the woman stretched out her hand Ajava was afraid that she would employ a powerful push, something to which Ajava had no answer. Instead she flicked her wrist and Ajava saw the world around her darken, changing her expression to a wicked smile: this was something that she could handle.

Ajava expects the woman to attack immediately confident in her ability to ignore the hindrance she herself created, and expecting Ajava to have great difficulty with it. Unfortunately for her assailant, Ajava had a well-honed sense for living beings, to the point of being able to sense them through cover and in total darkness. Letting the Force guide her movements, Ajava dodges the first sneak attack the moment she feels it coming, and twists around to make a lightning-fast riposte to the woman's saber arm, intent on burning it so she drops her saber: Ajava hopes to turn the cover of darkness against the woman as she requires her concentration to sense the veolian jedi.

If the woman is affected by the riposte, Ajava uses her connection with the force to navigate the darkness and end up behind the woman. While she swims, she extinguishes her dagger blade to free up a hand. Once behind the woman, she hooks her legs over the woman's prevent her from kicking, and wraps her free hand over her waist. She quickly puts her red regular blade against the throat of the woman, not killing her, but making sure that any sudden movement results in her death.

Trigiel had the idea that Ajava was doing rather well.

Then the woman tried to made the area dark by whirling up mud. Trigiel had difficulties following the fight in such darkness, and so would master Ajava have he thought. The problem was that he couldn't really mingle in the fight. He have seen the woman's moves, and he would have serious difficulties keeping his stand, or float in this case, against her.

So from his position behind the car, trying to stay hidden, Trigiel tried to use the force to create a weak water current to wash away the mud.

Ariana scanned the vessel that was incoming. She did not detect any lifesigns on board, but it did have two individual blaster cannons, one on each side of the ship. It appeared to slow down as it descended into the atmosphere and would likely arrive next round.

Trigiel

((OOC: I am not certain how Telekinesis works in water. By the description of the power, Telekinesis is about moving objects, not clouds of dust or liquids. For this reason, your check is denied. However, I think it would be an interesting idea for a Force Power, allowing the manipulation of fluids and gasses instead.))

Trigiel used the force to attempt to clear away the dirt, but he found he had trouble to lock on to anything. It was all just one big mass and his efforts went to waste.

Ajava

((OOC: Using Force Vision requires concentration, so it is not an automatic success in battle. I do not feel that Force Speed or Acrobatics are really appropriate. You do use them in your twisting and turning, but the key component of your check is seeing with the Force. This lowers the result of your check to 13. Unfortunately, that is not enough to fully bypass this woman. For this reason your check is failed.

That said, your check puts your opponent off balance, so I expect this battle to end shortly regardless.))

Shebi Ajava was nowhere near as affected by the darkness as the woman had thought and her nimble movements quickly put the woman off balance!

Despite her efforts, the woman managed to avoid a grapple though, using her blade to keep the Jedi from getting closer. Sticking with this tactic, the woman used her blade as a shield to keep Ajava from getting too close, useing the darkness to her advantage in her counter attacks, though obviously it helped less than she had hoped.

Though her plan didn't pan out exactly as she wanted it, it still gave her an opening.

Now that the woman had to use her blade to shield herself from Ajava's attacks, the veolian jedi was content to exchange a few blows to gauge her reaction. After the short exchange, it was clear to her that she now has the upper hand in the fight. With her next attack, Ajava feints a single-handed cut from the right, switching to an attack to the woman's saber the moment she brings up her blade to shield herself.

If her feint works, she brings up her saber to the woman's throat to make sure she doesn't try anything funny.

The exchange of blows continued, but despite the woman's attempts, Ajava was the stronger opponent. Finally with a slash of her saber, she managed to feint her way into the woman's defences, slicing through her saber and splitting it in twain, the blade blinking out and the stream of bubbles coming from it stopping.

Though the woman's eyes were hidden deep under the visor of the breathing mask that covered her face, Ajava could see them widen a moment in surprise as she had not expected her weapon to be destroyed like that.

Ajava held her weapon up towards the woman's throat as she backed up. Without a serious weapon, the battle was effectively over. It did not look like any of the other people who had been with here were going to help her either.

((OOC: Combat is now over. Please return to regular roleplay.

Once he saw that Ajava had won, Trigiel came out from behind the car. He saw how Ajava looked at the women and guessed that she used her telepathic powers to speak with her. Therefore he saw no reason to interfere at this moment. Especially as this was a good moment for the other guys to hit Ajava in the back.

And so Trigiel was going to cover Ajava her back.

Ariana followed in her ship to the crash site. She scanned the other ship for damage and heading. Ariana was wondering if this was a controlled crash in a submersible ship. Ariana looked at her own ship to conclude whether her ship could still maneuver under water. If it was possible to go under water in her own ship, even at minimal speed Ariana would follow the enemy ship under water.

Ariana told Ajava the news using the Telepathic bond.
The ship crashed into the water. I am trying to pursue it. Scanning the ship now, still not sure if the crash was intentional.

"I have nothing to think to you.". It appeared the woman was not willing to be very cooperative, and questioning her down here was difficult anyway - she might swim off in an opportune moment, for one thing.

Above water, Ariana scanned the vessel. It appeared to have dropped under water intentionally, as damage was minimal. The vessel the Jedi had come in was airtight so it could handle landing in water. It was however, not designed with underwater travel in mind, and the engines simply would not work while submerged. This meant that while the vessel could go underwater, it would sink like a rock and be crushed by the pressure shortly after.

The vessel that had dropped into the water was a bit more resistant - scans indicated that the vessel had been retrofitted with some small propulsion and pitch control. However, it was also clear that the ship had not been designed for this task at all. It was not shaped for underwater movement and the retrofitted propulsion system was unlikely to be able to go with any degree of speed. The only reason it was now fast disappearing into the depths was that it had the same remarkable ability to sink like a rock that the Jedi vessel did.

Estimating the vessels speed and trajectory, Ariana estimated it would arrive at the Jedi in some 10 minutes. Whether it would actually survive the pressure at that depth was questionable however.

As Ariana figured out the details, Trigiel and Ajava noticed that the other folk down here had now all noticed that the battle was over, waiting uncomfortably as if unsure whether to run, hide or faint.

Ajava was expecting non-cooperation. And hearing that a vessel just crashed into the water, she decides that talking can be done at a later moment.

With a moment of concentration she calls upon her connection to the force and wills lightning to arc between her and the woman's body. After a moment, she stopped the debilitating flow of energy and, saber still held to the woman's throat, checked if she was knocked out.

After she checked the woman, she extinguished her saber and contacted Trigiel: "Trigiel, a vessel might be on its way through the ocean to this location. Get that rock safely onto the plateau and collect the four goons. We're leaving, or at least getting ready to fend off more people."

She pulled the body of the woman with her towards the sabotaged submersible. Happy that she brought a driver propulsion vehicle with her, she dumped the body of the woman next to it. While Trigiel was doing his thing, she grabs some of the belts normally used for packing gear onto the propulsion vehicle and binds the woman's arms and legs.

Ariana waited in the ship above the water. The only thing she did at the moment was talk to Shebi Ajava using the telepathic bond.

"My first scans indicated the ship has no life signs on board, it could be piloted by a droid. My last scans suggest that the ship has minimal damage and is retrofitted with a propulsion system and pitch control.

It is currently sinking and should be at your location in about 10 minutes. I can not follow it in our ship. I will maintain position."

Seeing how Ajava dispatched the woman, Trigiel reasoned that she hadn't much to tell. Maybe the other guys were more talkative. Wait, did Ajava not just used some sort of electricity power? Trigiel had the idea that in a time somewhere he heard or read something about that, but he couldn't grasp anymore what that was. No time to get that now, he should ask about that later.

First now he was going to ask the closed by dude, the one in the car. Trigiel swam to the car and tried to enter. He knocked on the door indicating that he wanted to enter. If that didn't help, he tried to open the car himself. He used his lightsaber as a last resort.
