Shebi Ajava - PC
Some time after her knighting, Shebi Ajava asks the councils permission to speak before them.
"Honoured members of the Council", she starts as she stands before them, "Our small numbers have often stood in the way of the time-honoured practice of taking on a single padawan per master. However, I feel that the time is right to start this tradition anew: I wish to begin training my first padawan."
She waited a moment to try and gauge the reaction of the council.
"After having meditated on the possibilities, I respectfully request that the council assign padawan Darones Rei to be my padawan learner."
She then waited for the council to question her, or deliberate amongst themselves.

Master Screetor nodded sagely as he listened to the other Jedi Masters, who were apparently taking their sweet time thinking the matter over and deciding amongst themselves who would speak.

Master Leithor - NPC
Master Leithor nodded sagely as he contemplated what to say.
"Shebi Ajava, you have come a long way since you started your training. You seem to have thought this through, but taking on a padawan learner is more then just a duty to pass on the knowledge of the Force.
It is also a privilege to learn by teaching. Do you understand this? And do you think you are ready to face the responsibilities this gives you?"

Shebi Ajava - PC
"I understand that by taking on a padawan learner I am granted the opportunity to learn as well. I feel this is a necessary step on my path to grow as a Jedi Knight."
"In the past I have criticized the Jedi for sending children on dangerous missions, I see now that we do so out of necessity. If the Jedi order is to continue to exist in the spirit of the traditions established by our ancestors, we must see to it that the training of padawan is once more taken up by Knights and Masters with the traditional master-apprentice roles.
I see that this is challenging, given the circumstances. Masters, I am confident that I will live up to the challenge."

Master Qun Treen nodded sagely. He listened to the other Jedi Masters, who were apparently taking their sweet time thinking the matter over and deciding amongst themselves who would speak now, and what should be said.

Shebi Ajava - PC
Shebi Ajava interpreted the long silence as a hint that she should leave the council so they can deliberate.
She bows, and leaves the council chambers to wait outside.

Just as Ajava was about to walk trough the door, Master Monifa said: "You shall have Darones Rei as your padawan. Teach him well."
-

Shebi Ajava - PC
Surprised at the woman's sudden reaction, Ajava turned around again.
"Thank you, masters.", she said after a bow.
She left the council chambers, wondering whether she should inform padawan Rei herself, or whether the padawan would be informed of this by the council. She guessed the latter, as this has happened to her as well.

When Ajava left the council, Monifa said to the other masters: "I will summon padawan Darones Rei to inform him of his new assignment," and so she did.

Darones Rei - PC
Shortly after being summoned Darones came see what the Jedi Masters wished to discuss. As he entered the council chambers and saw most of the Masters where there, he be came a bit nervous and started to wonder what he had done now.
He barely managed to make a bow before softly addressing them:
"You wished to see me?"

"Darones, it has come to our attention that you are performing well as padawan, but that you are not reaching your full potential. To help you educate in the force, the Counsil has decided to assign you to Shebi Ajava as her padawan learner.
Consider this a great honour as you are one of the few who get the chance to become a padawan learner under a jedi knight.
...Do you accept?"

Darones Rei - PC
"I'm honored Masters to see an old tradition revived," Darones said as the Masters explained the reason why he was summoned, "and I accept Shebi Ajava as my teacher. What should I do know?"
"It is customary for the padawan learner to seek out their master and inform of their assignment.", was all the kel'dor master said.

Darones Rei - PC
"Then that is what I will do," Darones replied as he made a bow, "Thank you Masters"
And with that he left the Council, seeking the privacy of his own chambers for a moment.
