"We're definitely in a place that's alive all right." Nathan said.

He turned towards the woman.

"Why do Ariana and me feel so different? It can't be just because we live in a city, can it?"

[Ariana Danacia]

"This is probably because we are Jedi and have a strong force signature...

Or is it really because we are not in touch with nature and seem to be disturbing the balance? How do we adapt to this?"


((OOC: I have no idea what else to do... Either there is not really much to do here or we just do not get any information...))

"You are not in tune.." she explained "But that is not the reason... You hoard, no, summon energies to use. That is not our way. We become one with nature. With life. That is why we blend into the forest. We are the forest. And then all the energies there - what you call the Force - becomes available.

You ask me how you can adapt, but that is not something I can teach beyond what I have done. You have to feel it, feel the connection... If you haven't already, after all I showed you, perhaps it is not in your means... Or at least not in my means to teach you."

"I am not sure what else we can learn here at the moment. We might have to meditate on this at a later moment.

I will go check in with our pilot."

Ariana moved away from Nathan and the Woman and took her datapad from her backpack.

She opened a channel to the pilot through the Remunzian holonet.

"Pilot come in, I think we are almost done here. When can you pick us up? Please return to the location where you dropped us off on Exa-12 as soon as possible."

Ariana waited for a response.

[Mercury]

"Roger that, picking you up." the pilot confirmed. Not long after, a strong down draft from the anti-gravity generators of the ship could be felt coming in from above, the pilot hovering their vessel over the tree-line.

The woman had moved with them to their departure site this time instead of giving them another few hour run around.

"I am sorry I was not able to teach you more, but I think this has been a valuable experience for both of us, would you not agree?" the woman suggested.

[Ariana Danacia]

"Yes I agree. We thank you for trying to teach us your way of life. I am sorry that we were such hard students. Maybe we meet again at a later moment when we have new insights or a new situation arises. Good bye."

Ariana thanked the woman by shaking her hand and when she and Nathan were done moved to the ship by forcing herself through the roof of leaves and flying into the ship.

"Ma'am, it was a pleasure. I would have liked to stay longer, but I have neither the skill nor the knowledge to survive here." Nathan said, saluting the woman.

Nathan climbed back up the rope still tied to the tree.

Once up he untied the rope and wound it back up. He then jumped onto the ship.

With Nathan and Ariana both back in the ship, the pilot closed the back hatch and flew off up towards space. Whether the woman waved or not was uncertain - the canopy hid her as much as it hid everything else on the planet.

((OOC: This storyline has been going for quite a bit so rather than making you go through an epilogue, I'm closing it here.

The original mission call was for the Jedi to learn the ways of the Xomlirga. I do not think that was a success, but I refuse to label this mission a failure. I will therefore be giving you both 3 xp for this mission, to be added upon completion of the mission report, though I won't be adding any new Force Power for this right now. Should also save on the wait time for the reward. Do you both think this is fair?

In any case, thank you both for the RP, it was excellent and I had a lot of fun with this mission.))

When they were back at the Jedi temple Ariana meditated for half a day on what they experienced on Exa-12.

After this Ariana joined Nathan and went to the Jedi Council to present their report.
