Rolling the tall girl on her back certainly had some effect. The tiny point grew a tiny bit larger. The reason was because her lungs didn't have to lift against the girls bodyweight, though Salia was unlikely to know this.

Salia had barely felt the point grow, before the tall girls chest suddenly jerked upward. Her chest jerked up again, then again, then again. After the fourth time the regular jolts paused for a moment. She jolted once more and then she suddenly sucked in air. Her eyes had returned to their normal shine and she was as alive as ever. She coughed out some more of the black gel which now had some blueish parts in it. Breathing heavily she saw Shorty, who had started to wake up too, her face contorted with anger.

Getting up she approached him. Grabbing him by the throat she lifted him with one arm and slammed him against the wall. "You little shit!" She yelled, still panting. For the moment she held him about a metre off the ground.

Meanwhile Miri was starring at Salia. "How did you..."

Salia looked more surprised than Miri. She had no idea what had happened, or why or what she did to make it happen. It was all very confusing.

Standing up, she moved over to the tall girl and put her hand on the girls arm, looking up at her.

"Don't be angry... anger leads to hatred... and hatred leads to suffering..." she softly told the taller girl as she gave her a warm, loving smile

"We'll take him to the Jedi Council... they will know what to do!" she explained "And then after, we can play ball in the Temple gardens! Playing ball is a way better idea than killing that Mr. Meanypants. Actually, playing ball is a way better idea than killing people in general." she nodded sagely, as if this was a deep and profound piece of wisdom which too few people were aware of.

Salia's words made the tall girl pause for a moment. Then she dropped him unceremoniously on the floor.

"You have no idea how lucky you are she's here." she spat at Shorty.

She turned to the group of children.

"We're going with Salia. To the Jedi." She started to walk but after one step she stumbled. As she fell she muttered something. "There goes the adrenaline."

Even though Salia was... well Salia, she still was a jedi and was there for fast enough to catch the tall girl. She was heavier than she looked. Miri rushed over immediately to check on her older sister.

A few of the other kids helped Salia to hold the tall girl. The others looked at Salia to lead them to the Jedi Temple and help the tall girl.

((OOC: Almost there.))

Salia quickly showed the way to the Jedi Temple, which by virtue of being very large and very noticeable, was not that hard to find. Leading the small exodus into the gates, Salia began looking around for the first adult Jedi she could find to report.

"I found guests!" Salia explained excitedly "Also, I think some of them need a doctor, because like, getting shot is like really bad for you... also dangerous." she knew.

The first adult jedi Salia saw was Master Leithor, who had apparently been waiting there. An ambulance and some police stood waiting near him. The paramedics quickly rushed to the tall girl to help her. The police officers slapped a pair of handcuffs on Shorty, who had been dragged along by a pair of tough looking boys, and took him with them.

Master Leithor told Salia to wait for a moment while he oversaw the whole ordeal.

From where she stood she could hear one of the paramedics talking to Miri. "Don't worry, your sister has a damaged lung and pacemaker. But we've got the best cybernetics doctor in the galaxy ready to help her. She'll be back and better before you know it."

The tall person Salia had seen before she left also returned. He had a quick word with Master Leithor before taking over.

Master Leithor told Salia to follow him. They went to his office and he told her to sit down.

"You did good Salia. You did the right thing and let the Force guide you. Now tell me, what did you think of your mission and what have you learned from it?"

Salia wasn't very good at sitting down, but luckily Master Leithor wasn't holding a long speech but instead asked only a simple question. Still, the girl twisted on the chair a bit like this was generically uncomfortable and she'd rather go back and play with the other children.

"I liked meeting the other children, they're nice, but the shooting wasn't really any fun and people shouldn't die because that is not fun at all." Salia shook her head to assert this fact more strongly. "Also I learned that grown-ups don't really understand fun and playing. And that guango's get squished when you put them at the bottom of your backpack, which really makes sense when you think about it, but it would be better if they didn't.

What did you learn from it though?" she inquired

Salia wiggled impatiently on her chair as the Jedi Master was awestruck by the pertinent backtalk from the youngling

Regaining his composure, after being flabbergasted by the young jedi, Master Leithor cleared his throat.

"I learned that sometimes the young can teach the old."

He said, nodding sagely as if to agree with his own words.

"I will expect a report of your mission, Salia. But for now you may go."

((OOC: And that's the end. Even if it wasn't really smooth because my posting frequency, I still hope you had fun. I think I can give out a reward once you have made a report and storypage. Provided it gets approved.

This concludes

THE LEITHOR TALKTM

As an end thingy, I challenge another storyteller to run a mission for Salia.))

((OOC: I wrote a mission report for XP and profit! http://www.fwurg.net/dokuwiki/ic:salia_s_first_mission

If you remove the double spaces in front of each line of the reward block, it becomes an actual entry - just make sure to adjust the Experience value (upward maybe?)))

((OOC: Report: failed

The report says Miri got shot. She doesn't get shot. Her sister, the tall girl who's name is not mentioned, gets shot. Also the report doesn't explain who Miri is. Please correct these things.))
