"Hold still little girl. I will patch you up since Ajava knows how to ask it nicely."

((Check: 12 = 5 Force Level + 5 Reason + 2 First Aid -- Patching her up and making sure her leg is bandaged firmly to restrict her movement.))

"I will fly our ship home with the bodies and the evidence. I already brought the saberstaff of the guy, just to be sure. Let's start collecting the rest."

Unless Ajava finds something special in the ship Ariana flies their ship towards the cave entrance and starts collecting the evidence and bodies. She puts it all in their ship.

Tera tried to hold as still as possible while Ariana was caring for her leg. When the praetorian was done, Tera would be able to walk again with some rest, but if she didn't want to get a ugly scar, something more than just some first aid would be required.

Meanwhile, Ajava searched Tera and the ship. Tera didn't had anything out of the ordinary with her, only a rebreather to breath under water, some food rations, a comm link and binoculars. The inside of the ship was of simple and practical design. It was clearly meant as transport for two persons, with two couches which also could serve as beds, some closets, a table which could be placed between the couches/beds and a device which turned out to be a heater of some sort. Aside of the logical and expected things toe find in a space ship, like food and some warm clothing, Ajava found in one of the closets an empty crate labeled 'stun grenades'. It appeared that there were originally four grenades inside the crate. Ajava also found the log of the ship in the cock-pit.

The ship was bought on a small trade planet between the Union and Mandalorian border. The logs did not gave any information over where the ship went after it was bought, but the latest automated generated log file which hadn't be deleted yet indicated that the ship was here for at least two weeks, with contact to an unknown location once every three

For Ariana it started to get crowded in her ship with two dead bodies and the remaining plants, but as she was flying alone now, there was enough space.

Ariana flies towards Murrah's ship and gives TOR-4284 the helper droid orders to do a system check and start the engines. She instructs him to fly the third ship.

She contacts Ajava using the ship's communicator. "I am ready to go back to Unity Shebi Ajava. Are we ready to leave?"

Ariana waits until Ajava is ready.

Ariana contacts TOR-4284: "TOR-4284 return to Master Gri'pan on Unity with Murrah's ship."

After seeing TOR-4284 fly away in his ship Ariana flies after it in their ship.

After searching the ship, Ajava puts the girl in the ship. Ajava doesn't want to leave her alone and out of sight in the back of the ship, so she makes sure to disable all controls near the girl, and puts her in the co-pilot seat.

"Behave, and you wont' be harmed any further.", she tells Tera.

She does a quick pre-flight check of the ship's systems while Ariana is collecting all the stuff.

"All ready here.", she replies.

With a smooth arc she joins the two other ships before setting a course to Unity, and jumping to hyperspace in formation with the other two ships.

"roger roger." TOR-4284 obediently walked to Murrah's ship and took of, a few moments later the two other ships joined the first one and the formation entered hyperspace. Their trip was rather uneventful. Even Tera was keeping quiet. Ajava noticed however that Tera was not at rest, and she regulary glanced at Ajava her lightsaber, but it appeared that the human woman took her chances and took no apparent effort to escape.

Back on the temple, two knights stood ready to take Tera into custody and escorted her away to a cell.

All what was left to do was writing a report and report back at master Gri'pan.

((OOC: I expect a mission report before you receive your reward :).))

"Unfortunately we were too late to save Murrah master Gri'pan. Here is our report."

Ajava makes sure that the two knights who take Tera into custody are aware of the nature of her wound, and advices them that she should be placed in a Bacta tank soon to. She also makes sure the evidence from the ship was correctly processed, and she retrieved the lightsabers of both force users to be stored as evidence for now.

After writing the report with Ariana, she joins the praetorian as she goes to visit master Gri'pan.

"Counselor Gri'Pan", she started with a polite bow.

"We were indeed to late to save Murrah. We currently suspect she was murdered by two force users. During our fight with them, we were able to capture one of them, she is currently being treated for a leg wound. What is to become of her?"

((OOC: I have looked it over, and made some small style changes. I wanted to ask Gri'Pan some pointed questions about her methods, but I'll not do that since STing was taken over by Elmer, so I'd rather let him ST his own missions.))

"That's terrible news," although it was likely that Murrah wouldn't return alive, Gri'pan still sounded shocked, "I will personally make sure that she get a proper funeral. Thank you for bringing her body back.

And about Tera, well. First we will interrogate her, see what she knows. After that I'm not sure. It looks like she is turned to the dark side. Maybe we can bring her back onto the right path but I'm afraid there is no hope for her left, forcing us to lock her away for ever."

((OOC: You have finished the mission! Although the original reward was a skill point, I decided to give you XP, conform the new XP system.
I have thought for quite some time about the amount of XP you would receive, as technically you failed the mission for most parts, and I didn't feel anything for giving 'pity XP'. But the players shouldn't be the victim of a slow storyteller and I couldn't find a way how you could succeed the mission.

Therefore I give you 2 XP for the mission
and 1 XP for capturing Tera and bringing back all the evidence you could find :).))

((OOC: It seems you beat me to it Elmer. the site was downyesterday every time I checked so I could not awnser.

In any case. Since I do find that for future developments of this arc it is important to give the players a chance to ask and develop their character through personal idea's and experience. I think it is a good idea to allow Shebi Ajava and Ariana their chance to ask questions or inquire about things. Since it will be harder for Elmer to awnser these I think I can awser any questions that you might have towards Gri'pan or any other part of this story.

since there is no pressure of finishing a story it is also less of a problem if an awnser takes slightly longer then intended (though I am trying to be faster with things again).

So if people want they can ask questions and I shall respond as Gri'pan with what I can :)))

"Master, why was this research being done over there? Isn't it much more safe to do such research inside the Union?"

"Master, why was this research being done over there? Isn't it much more safe to do such research inside the Union?"

"The group was allowed to the research they wanted outside of Union control if they saw fit. It is.. well.. was.. a way of life for them to be able to where they wanted. The research they did was not in direct request of any Union party and therefore I send them any aid I could spare out of self interest in the pursue of knowledge. This way they kept their own style of research and it did not cost any Union funds to conduct it or keep it controlled."

The mention of Murrah's death seems to really sink in now at the sound of Ariana's question.
She slowly went to sit down and took a deep breath before moving on.

"I send her because I knew what she was capable of. At first glance the risk did not seem that high that I needed to send a group."

((OOC: Ugh. Don't arbitrarily repeat the text of other posts, it is very confusing.

If you want to indicate 'synchronisation' at least add a ", asked Shebi Ajava." or something to indicate that Gri'pan isn't saying it. Or just state "Gri'pan answered Shebi Ajava's question before Ariana posed hers.", which is also clear about what's going on.))

"Master, you knew that they were in a dangerous sector, with the growing tension between the Mandalorians and the Union. Why did you not tell them to move their nomadic camp into the Union? Surely, there are enough planets that are not completely inhabited, so finding one where they could continue their work in peace should not be the problem.

You say that the research was not in direct request of any Union party, Master. Based on that I have to assume that it was either an indirect request, or that you do not see yourself as part of the Union?"

Shebi Ajava took a breath.

"There is one last thing I don't understand, Master. You called Murrah your jedi investigator. Was she your padawan?"

((OOC: Oops, the repeat of the question was not supposed to be there. Sorry about that.))

A flicker of annoyance flashes over Gri'pan's face but fades away fast. answering controlled.

"Do you really think I did nothing to warn them or get them to move? I am not their leader or anything so they go where ever they pleased to go and they wanted to be there. What do you want me to do about that? send a group of soldiers to force them near us?" Gi'pan sighs deeply. "Some people can just be stubborn I suppose."

"I also do not really think you understand who or what these folks were Shebi Ajava. When I started my career as a scientist I came into contact with them on a expedition. Like now they were as stubborn then as they were now but still we became fond of each other and I was intrigued with their style and their fields of study. when we went our separate ways I stayed in touch with them and we kept each other posted here and there about things we we're doing. They decide themselfs what to look into or not

So no Shebi Ajava. I did not "request" anything from them. Nor did anyone as far as my knowledge goes. However they did mention their research to me one of our catch ups. And I decided to help in small ways for as much as I could. And that is all there is too it.

And as far as Murrah goes. She was a friend as well but no never my padawan."

"How did you help them? Because one of their logs mentioned that they received help from a group of outsiders. They seemed to have found a way to extend life... by mixing some plant extracts with something else. And they did so with the help of outsiders."

"I mostly helped them with ideas or insights i might have on any information they would share with me. And sometimes some equipment that I could spare. Nothing major or anything. However they never mentioned this 'other group' you talk about. I shall look into this and see who these peoples might be. It could very well be that they have something to do with the disappearance of the group and the...death of Murrah"

"We have brought with us all the evidence we could find, master. I am sure that some connection has to be in there."

"Master", Ajava bowed to the master and left.
