The teprogrenaian senator had a concerned expression on his face.

"As you know, the Teprogrenaian Consensus has just joined the ranks of the inner worlds, but our department of economies has encountered some interesting things." From the tone of his voice, it was clear that the senator didn't mean interesting as something positive, "We, of the department, have heard of some beneficial regulations for starting inner worlds.

To begin with, we have heard that for the first 10 , a starting economy does not have to pay taxes, next we heard that starting economies would get a subsidy to help the economy to grow to a reasonable size.

After digging into the Union Laws, the only thing our department could find was, and I quote:'
1. Union Grant
Union members receiving the union grant for new members may spend up to 10% of the grant on infrastructure improvements.'

It does not state what this Grant is, when a member gets this Grant, and how much its total is. The laws also does not state anything of different tax laws for starting economies.

But here is the thing: Our department get interested in how this worked with the previous economies and to our surprise, all reviewed starting economies received a Union subsidy of 1000 and didn't had to pay taxes for the first 10 .

We, of the consensus, have questions about this: Why is there something written in the laws of a Grant, but is there nothing specified about this Grant. Why did the previous starting economies get starting benefits, while there is nothing written in the Union Laws about this, and most of al: Why are these benefits not for the Teprogrenaian Consensus?"

"I second the request that the law be clarified to prevent future confusion. Laws should exhaustively be explained to prevent any chance of interpretation and thus bias."
