"Fellow Senators,

The Hiocan Society, formerly a Protectorate of the Union, has requested it's membership status be changed to that of Minor World. As their faction meets all the required criteria to become a member world, I see no reason to deny this request, and I would like to officially congratulate the Hiocan Society on it's upgrade.

I am certain the Hiocans will be able to provide a much valued logical insight into Union politics and I for one look forward to their participation in our debates!

Please join me in welcoming our new Minor World, the Hiocan Society!"

Senator Harek comes forwards to say his welcome speach.

"Dear senators,

The Hiocan Society is honored and glad that the Union has decided to let our system join. In sector 7, -6 lies our My’enru system with our homeplanet Hio.

We would like to share information and exchange ideas to be able to together come to a wise decision to make this part of space prosperous and a save place for everybody. One cannot survive alone but has to work together to make the greatest progress.

The Hiocan society is a free nation where we have clear rules and regulations. Logic is a very important aspect of our live. By experiencing different things ones come to insights. We would like to get to see and know other star systems and their inhabitants better.

The Hiocan society has survive by working together and use their mind to be able to make technological process to make live better on our dry planet. We try to make the most of the things we have, be it sunlight, water or metal.

If you want more information please do not hesitate to ask as with sharing information own comes to a better understanding. I am looking forward to a successful relationship with the Union and its members."
