Senator Lady Peinaili de Montrève takes up a position at the speaking dais, after a quick last consultation with Chancellor Acehtoo and Minister Bolv'ar.

"Fellow Senators,

Some time has passed since the successful summit on Genetics and interspecies procreation, hosted on Mirda by the Veolian Commonwealth, and several projects are now underway which make use of the knowledge gained on that summit.

As a part of the Chancellor's election program, aid was promised in founding new Colonies, should Union Members choose to do so. However Colonization is a time consuming and costly endeavor, and it's not always such a success as hoped beforehand.

After a consultation with the Chancellor and Minister Bolv'ar, who's people have several small colonies, High Lord Yllia has, on behalf of the Sundarian Federation, offered to facilitate and host a summit. The technologies and experiences made available to us by the Confederacy of Excaria will serve as a starting point, which together with the joint efforts of our scientists, will hopefully provide us with a new view and the possibility of new technologies in the fields of Colonization and Galactic Survey and Scanning Techniques.

Our hope is that the summit will lead to a joint research project that will result in technologies that enables our peoples to explore and study the galaxy in greater detail and eventually settle on favorable sites should they desire to do so.

The summit will be held on Glasslyn, the home world of the Sundarians, and will begin the 5th of February ( 36) . We wish to invite every member of the Union, to send a delegation to discuss the implications and difficulties of the subject. Different tracks will be available, which will at least cover the topics of Observational Astronomy, Planetary Science and Geophysics . Please have your aide send a list of attending delegation members to the Sundarian embassy on Unity so we can arrange for the necessary accommodations.

[Veolian Commonwealth]

Some time later a message is sent to the embassy of the Sundarian Federation.

The Veolian Commonwealth wishes to attend, the delegation will number at least eight individuals. Please inform us of the available accommodations and expected duration of the summit.

Two members of the delegation are slaves. Should this be deemed unacceptable by the Sundarian Federation we will change the composition of the delegation to exclude any slaves.

[Senator Ardios Eldrilith]

"I would like to inform the Sundarian Federation that the Praetorian Empire will be present at the summit with a small delegation of Praetorians. We are not sure how much we can say on this subject, we are mostly coming to learn about the possibilities. I will forward the list of attendants to your embassy."

Ardios Eldrilith forwarded a list with 12 scientists and 5 politicians to the Sundarian Embassy.

[Senator Acehtoo of the Miomanian Colonists]

"Natural the Miomanian Colonists will be participating in the summit. I shall be glad to make my first official visit to Glasslyn." the Chancellor announced.

[Senator Salixa of the Silver Forests of Remunzia]

"The Silver Forests of Remunzia would also like to send a delegation, and bring up the point of the environmental impact of colonisation. We will send a delegation of four, including three elders and myself."

[Senator Ght'Twwf of the Socialist Republic of Niom]

"In the past, more specifically in the previous months, the presence and active participation of the Socialist Republic of Niom in summits such as the one organised by the Veolian Commonwealth has brought fruitful results and brought cooperation and success to all participants individually and to the entire Union as a whole.

For this reason, the Socialist Republic of Niom believes it would be in its own and in the Unions best interest to participate in this summit. We would like to send a delegation of fourteen scientists and three politicians. Unfortunately, my presence is required on Niom at the time of the summit, so I will be unable to personally be present myself, however I will be glad to make an appearance for a speech by holonet."
