"Fellow senators,

We have previously discussed the option of giving Core Worlds a vote in basic votes. This will at allow Core Worlds to vote for the laws that they themselves will be bound by in the future.

As senator Acehtoo explained during that discussion, this is made possible by the alterations of the structure of the Justice system. The move to a Supreme Court distinct from the cabinet allows for the creation of checks and balances, preventing Core Worlds from accumulating too much power within the Union.

This week we vote on the matter. The options are"

1. Allow Core World to represent their own world in basic votes.
   Amend article 5(I) of the Union Voting Laws to "Core Worlds, Inner worlds and Minor Worlds may cast a vote in a basic vote."
2. Do not allow Core Worlds to represent their own world in basic votes.
   No amendments will be made.
