"My fellow senators,
An update on the progress of the implementation of the Supreme Court of the Union Act and the Offices of the Mayor of Unity Act is due.
In the last seven weeks, the ministry of Finance has worked closely with the minister of Justice to handle all the administrative issues stemming from the division of duties and budget of the Ministry of Justice. Furthermore, we have monitored the construction of the Offices of the Mayor of Unity which are located in a separate, dedicated, building near the Senate.
Now, we are entering the final phase of the transitionary period. I will soon open the vote for the appointment of the first supreme judge, after the ministries have sent in their nominations.
The Ministry of Finance will soon finalize the new budgets for the Supreme Court and the Offices of the Mayor, and I am currently deciding on a short-list of candidates for the position of Mayor of Unity.
Thank you."

"My fellow senators,
May I have your attention please.
The fifth Supreme Judge has just been appointed. Under normale circumstances, I would start the procedure to dismantle the Ministry of Justice and have their authority transfered to the Supreme Court. However, with the current urgent attention needed for the Remunzian situations, I have decided to wait with the formal transfer of authority until the complete Supreme Court has been appointed.
Furthermore, to prevent undue complication of matters, the Officies of the Mayor of Unity will be formally established at the same moment that the Ministry of Justice is dismantled.
Thank you."

"Fellow senators,
The seventh and final Supreme Judge has been appointed.
Unfortunately, the ongoing war must take precedence over the transition from the Ministry of Justice to the Supreme Court of the Union. As such, the official inauguration of the Supreme Court will be postponed until after the war. Rest assured that we have prepared the necessary procedure for an emergency inauguration should the Supreme Court be convened before the end of the war.
As to the Offices of the Mayor of Unity, there too the war must take precedence. I will keep you all updated on the progress in this area, as when I have had the time to reduce the current short-list to a few candidates.
Thank you."

"Fellow senators,
The war with the Slave Rebellion has been going on for longer than each of us had hoped. It has been five months since I last updated you on the progress of the establishment of the Supreme Court of the Union, and I feel that it is not proper to wait any longer. As such, I wish to announce that the Supreme Court of the Union will be established in
320, with the official inauguration being performed at the beginning of that turn.
As for the Offices of the Mayor of Unity, I am afraid that I must keep you waiting a little longer. I can assure you that there are currently only three candidates left over, and that I will contact each of them personally.
Thank you."
((OOC: I will open a separate topic for the inauguration of the Supreme Court and the dissolution of the Ministry of Justice; that way everyone that wants to gets to make a post with their judge or delegation.))
