"Fellow senators,
The mandalorians do not wish for peace, and have opted to insult the Union instead of replying in a civilized manner. Their reply to our offer of peace was as follows."
"A Motion of Special Enforcement to retire the current Mand'alor has been called and seconded. In my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and with permission of the Chancellor I open this vote.
The options are: Yes to support a fitting reaction to this insult and to remove the current Mand'alor from power in an economical manner, or No to let our Union be insulted without reply."
“The following member worlds may vote:
Voting closes on 2013-01-12.”

Voting closes on 2013-01-12.”
"The Sundarian Federation votes Yes, we should not let this insult go without consequence."
"The Kingdom of Meritonia support this motion, we vote Yes."
"We vote No.
Clearly, the correct response to this insult is to launch an all-out assault with the Union's fleets and to emerge victorious as conquerors of the Mandalorian worlds!"

"Obviously the Mandalor isn't go to acknowledge his loss without a fight, we force it upon him in the only manner he would understand, through shameful defeat. The Kingdom of Komès votes Yes."

"The Astai Republic finds this a fitting way to deal with the current Mandalor, removing him from power will decrease the chances of any retaliation as well as decrease the morale of any of the lingering forces that are now escaping. We therefore wish to express our support for this motion, whilst we can not vote on it."

The IO Protocol additionally believes the directive given by the Ergos Markoth will not be beneficial to the Unions pareto optimality and advises all factions to disregard the command.

The Unified Republic of Darya votes YES. We believe that they should be thought a lesson for attacking the Union.
"I totally agree with Prince Odakim, and we should act swiftly by quickly destroying the Mandalorians utterly completely totally. I vote 'NO'."
"Although we despite war, the people of Bisidn believe that these kind of actions only would make things worse and give only more reason for the Mandalorians to assault us. Therefore we vote 'NO' as well."
The Confederacy of Excaria supports this motion. While the complete destruction of the Mandalorian forces would be preferable, we recognise how impossible this would be. The proposed action is a reasonable response that may help to end the conflict.
The Miomanian Colonists abstain on this issue.
The Silver Forests of Remunzia vote against this unnecessary violence.
The Socialist Republic of Niom supports this proposal, but urges a committee be formed once it has been completed to analyse this situation in case the Mandalorians should decide to attack again.
The Holy Heimgolian Theocracy has notified me by holomail that they abstain on this vote for Special Enforcement.
"The principality of Suma is against this excessive use of violence and votes NO."
"The Hiocan would love to solve matters peacefully, but it seems the new Mandalor does not see reason. To reduce the extension and impact of the war we need to remove him. We vote Yes."
"The Astrian Colonial Authority believes a response like this is not worthy of a reply. An insult like this should be met with action. We vote: YES.
That being said the ACA would be interested in how exactly you wish to take out the Mand'alor."

This had been quite the debate in the UEAC internal votings. At first, most of the parliament wanted to submit a counterproposal to entirely eradicate the Mandalorians to get their revenge. Zalyass was happy that Mother had been able to calm down most of the people and had managed to come up with a more sensible proposal.
When it was Zalyass' turn to vote, she stood up. She had apparently dressed for the occasion, wearing something entirely different form her usual simple outfit. It was clear that she was quite conscious about it.
"The unified Empire of Azaryan Colonies votes 'YES'. However, we would like to add that even though we support the act of removal of the current Mand'alor as a means of ensuring our victory in the war, we do not agree with the Minister's motivation. We should now allow ourselves to be provoked so easily."
Zalyass waited for a while to judge the responses of the other senators to what she had said before continuing.
"We should also try and make sure that the removal of the current Mand'alor will not result in the appointment of an even more extreme one, which will only result in more bloodshed and a continuation of this war."

To answer the question posed by senator Latharion: I plan to ask for the assistance of the Jedi in this matter, and to have our special forces cooperate closely with them.
I will inform the Jedi Council of the senate's decision."
