All personnel except for the ministers senators and representatives were removed from the senate and the roof darkened as the Union state secrets act went into effect.

"Fellow senators, the Union intelligence have located a unique opportunity for us, the Union, to strike at the Mandalorians. A small isolated group is located in sector 9 -4. And according to our intelligence, they are settling in an asteroid belt to mine for materials. If we strike fast, we should be able to capture them before they call in for reinforcement.

I ask permission from the Unified Empire of Azaryan Colonies to call for a motion of special enforcement within their sector to capture the Mandalorian ships. We can use their ships for study and for infiltration missions later."

"The kingdom of Komès is willing to provide support to this mission. One of our fleets is already in the area and I'm sure we could arrange for a cruiser or a small escort of fighters to be freed up for this assignment."

"The Sundarian Federation also support this motion, we should take every change we can in order to gain more intell on the Mandalorian fleets and their technology.

While we cannot lend direct military support, we can provide the strike force with detailed monitoring of the immediate action area and provide a secure means of communication via some of our support ships within our scanning fleets, the Edge of Darkness. I'll make the preparation to send 2 of our sensor vessels immediately and make sure that their staff receives the latest intelligence on the sector."

"Unfortunately we are still awaiting authorization from the Unified Empire of Azaryan Colonies. We will need their permission before we can continue planning this mission. "

Zalyass hadn't expected the Union to ask permission for this. It was not like they currently had any means of preventing any of this would the UEAC disagree on this point. This was why she had only just entered the Senate, wearing a simpler version of her usual attire. Up to an hour ago, she did not even know she had to be here...

"Ah, well. The Unified Emprie of Azaryan Colonies will of course allow the capture of these Mandalorian ships in our sector. You are provided free passage through our sector for this mission. With the way things are now, we welcome anything that would quicken the end of this war and allow us to return to our home. I'd wish we could offer assistance of our own, but the current state of affairs in our sector does not allow us to offer assistance. I guess I do not have to explain this to you all though."

As all the Union fleets are currently occupied, the ministry of defense requires help from the Union members. Therefore we of the ministry ask who are willing to send assets and special forces to work together with the jedi for this mission.

We are planning to start this mission in 128."

"The Praetorian Empire will provide their full support with the Praetorian secondary fleet that is actively fighting in the sector.

They will dispatch a capital ship and its escort and provide reinforcements during the mission if necessary."

" As promised earlier The Kingdom of Komès will provide an attack squadron from our second fleet, which is currently assisting the Azaryan Ground forces in their fight against the Mandalorian invaders.

The squadron will consist of two of our assault cruisers and their fighter escorts, as we currently dare not risk dedicating any of our capital ships. If necessary however, we should be able to provide further reinforcements but given the intensity of the Ground combat they will be limited."

"I've been in contact with our scanning fleet 'the Edge of Darkness', they have made the arrangements for the assistance I promised earlier. Two of their sensor vessels are already on route the Azaryan sector and have taken on some additional personnel to process the available intelligence on the strike zone. Furthermore they have received a full complement of small satellites and drones for detail survey's and secure communication. "

"House Shebi has agreed to dispatch a carrier and its 8 fighter wings from its first fleet to assist in the operations. Next to that, the Veolian Commonwealth will dispatch an additional 2 cruisers from the veolian imperial fleet, together with a wing of combat repair and salvage vessels."
