Honored Chancellor Acehtoo,

I would like to be appraised of the official political status of the Techno Zaibatsu. No mention has been made of their transition from Inner World to Fringe World, but the current vote on MTCF subsidies lists their world as fringe. Is this a temporary status, and if so, when was this status assigned to them?

Techno Zaibatsu became a Fringe World in Turn 7 at their own request. As a result, subsidies were suspended and their right to refrain from paying taxes was similarly extended - Fringe Worlds do not pay taxes. Once Techno Zaibatsu chooses to return to active status as an Inner World, the subsidies will continue and they may finish their taxation free period, after which they will be bound to once again pay taxes.
