Special goods trade fleets.

I am checking some system aproaches with creating my own trade fleets.
Currently i have a turn where i am creating 40 mass cargo freighters.
trade fleet 1 is being expanded with 500 tax.
trade fleet 2 is at 91/100 (this is from the last turn the new 40 are not included yet)
trade fleet 3 is being expanded with 250 tax.

Now the problem is that i can finish my trade fleet 2 upgrade with 9 mass cargo freighters. This means i still produce 31 more freighters.
At the moment i do not have any spare capacity in this plan so i can not ship them to somebody else yet. Since the trade fleet 2 expansion is completed after this turn and not now.

Some questions for possibilities to solve this:

Is it possible to store some special goods on your planet before you ship them to somebody else. (you might not have a buyer yet)

Could i expand trade fleet 2 again with these freighters? This means that it would have the finished 100 extra capacity and already be at 31/100 again

Is it possible to buy half a fleet with taxes and produce the other half yourself? Since they are 5 tax or 1 mass cargo freighter per capacity.

You can either buy a fleet upgrade for 500 taxes or pay for it using Mass Transit Cargo Freighters. You cannot mix the two. A fleet upgrade is paid for either fully in taxes or fully in Mass Transit Cargo Freighters. This is done to keep things simple.

When buying a fleet, you can pay part during one turn, then the rest during the next turn (or if your production in MTCF is low, even in more than 2 turns. This is identical to paying the tax price over multiple turns.

You cannot store Mass Transit Cargo Freighters, or any other good. Any not spent or exported during the turn are lost. If you do not have a buyer and you cannot use them.

Additionally, you should not spend some MTCF and then leave them as a partially constructed fleet upgrade indefinitely. There is currently no hard rules on this, but clearly partial construction is not intended as a way of storing resources.

Does that clarify things?

Mostly.
Is it still the rule that you can only expand a trade fleet with maximum 100 capacity / turn. Even with MTCF's?

That's correct, the limit is unaffected by the means of producing the upgrade.
