Question (primarily at Mercury): How much information has to be shared with other Union members under the Alliance Declaration? Can I classify the number of upgrades on my fleets, or details information about weapons systems, fleet composition (what the number and classes of ships in my Imperial Fleet, for example -- about which I have not yet disclosed anything)?

What about military assets such as Planetary Defence Grids?

Is there a distinction between military assets and 'civilian' assets such as intelligence networks?

To what kind of Ministry of Justice legal action would I be opening myself up if I declare such information classified?

The number of upgrades on your fleet is known in the Union, because it is required knowledge to make effective strategy. Logically this means the Union knows some details around the number and power of your ships. You don't have to be exact, but the ballpark numbers need to be clear for all involved.

This generally goes for most military information, including intelligence networks and defence grids. As a general rule, if its on the wiki, the Union knows about it.

As for keeping it classified... I really wouldn't know why you would want to. They're not asking for details, just for general scales to give them the ability to plan. If you hide a star destroyer here or there, nobody will care.

I wasn't specifically aiming at what the Union needed, but more at was I legally have to disclose. Anyway, this is close enough, I guess...
