As the subject says...
This came up in [Mirda] Shadow of War visits the Veolian Commonwealth <private>, where I pointed out that vessels exiting hyperspace have no momentum. Unfortunately, there is no documentation on the wiki backing me up.
As far as I know, everyone drops out of hyperspace without momentum. This was ruled a while ago (was discussed during the 3rd write-a-thon)... Apparently this specific property of hyperspace didn't make it into the wiki though -- that's a serious oversight.
We did this to prevent people from coming up with all kinds of schemes that basically boil down to: use a capital ship to tow a big honking asteroid through hyperspace, exiting at a speed near to the speed of light, and releasing the asteroid towards the enemies world -> instant vaporization and win!
If this is acknowledged, I'll update the wiki forthwith.
Can anyone acknowledge this?
