I've noticed certain words are connected to (possibly) off-site websites.

I don't think this was on purpose, so I wanted to give you guys a heads up.

example: the word game in the description of the game questions

These adds are getting past Add-Block plus for firefox.

This seems to be a problem in your browser.

I don't seem to have this, and the server definitely doesn't have code to do that.

Check your browser plugins (or extensions) and run a virus scan to detect any malware.

EDIT: Please inform us where the problem was, if you can't find anything at all, I'll look into the site more thoroughly. But I'm reasonably sure that the site is not contaminated (that would be a very serious issue).

This is not a bug on the side of Fwurg, but a computer virus (sometimes called a 'toolbar') that inserts advertisements into pages. The best solution is to perform an exorcism or if you don't know how, have one performed by a professional of the catholic church.

like I said this problem was on my end and has already been fixed.

besides last time I had something exorcized by the catholic church it resulted in the witch hunts.

Err? Not really. You said you had to disable the ads by hand, but that's not what's going on here.

Let me repeat: we do not have ads in the site. You should not have to disable them -- if you need to, you have a virus, or other form of malware. This could include a password sniffer. You should really make sure you run a good virusscan.
