The Hiocan Society has just recently joined the Union and we would like to know get the other factions better. So we cannot let the opportunity pass of meeting Empress Saret Neferti. Me and my secretary T’Ralesh would like to visit her Her Imperial Majesty for afternoon refreshments at your embassy.

I would like to point out that are quite some cultural differences between our factions and as to prevent difficulties I have a wish. The Hiocans are against slavery and we would like to be served by normal servants. If you same for some recommendation for our visit, we welcome them so our meeting can be successful.

Her imperial majesty would love to entertain you for afternoon refreshments. She has heard much of Hiocan scientific prowess, and would very much like to hear about the state of the art of Hiocan technology.

She has also told me that she looks forward to discussing the concept of slavery with you, and she ensures you that neither you, nor your secretary, will be served by slaves. In return, she asks that you keep an open mind towards Veolian culture, because it is as you say: there are large cultural differences and not acknowledging these might lead to difficulties.
