My empress gladly accepts your invitation to visit the Sundarian embassies for afternoon tea.

However, this entails some security and legislative concerns for us. First off, protocol dictates that her imperial majesty is accompanied by at least two of her handmaidens on such visits. As they are personally responsible for the safety of her imperial majesty, they will carrry small sidearms and a sword.

My empress has expressed her desire to be accompanied by Tayu Shanora, and hopes that this does not pose a problem. I must admit that I am unsure of the exact details of Sundarian law, but as far as we have been able to determine the status of such possessions is something omitted from Sundarian law. Could you elaborate on this issue?

Dear Lady Nehket,

We are glad to see our invitation accepted.

The Handmaidens of the Empress will of course be allowed the carry their weapons, as long as they are not explosives or heavy weaponry and they will need to be registered by entry. I have already informed the Embassy Security of this fact, and I expect no problems should arise.

As for the attendance of Tayu Shanora, there are no objections under Sundarian Law, whilst we do not regard other people as property, patronage is not unheard off in Sundarian society especially within the circles of nobility.
