Dear Senator Nehket Aeka,

Earlier today we have received a reply for Senator Zoreone Abaroa, of the Corporation for intergalactic exploration of Xi, concerning our proposed quotation for the transport of specialized (:information) using our respective holonet array's.

We would like to buy 300 (:holonet-relays) and Holonet Repeater Technology at the earliest possible moment. And transportation of 880 guides in zones (11,-6), (12,-7) and (13,-6). This has slightly less priority, but we no matter the scedule we want transportation of 185 guides along these zones starting (:turn) 62. We would like this transportation to last as long as our deal with Niom. If this is not an option, we are open to make this deal last for at least 50 (:turn) perpetually, with a 15 (:turn) delay on announcements to end this deal. We are, of course, willing to pay the prices mentioned in the quotation.

I have already replied that the transportation of 185 units, against the prices in the quotation, is possible on the Sundarian side starting at (:turn) 62, but that I cannot speak for the availability on the Veolian arrays. Nor can I single-handedly agree on the duration and exact terms of an agreement. I did however suggest that the dependency on a separate agreement with the Socialist Republic of Niom would most likely not be possible.

I propose we discuss these wishes so that I may later offer an answer to Senator Zoreone Abaroa, concerning final arrangements and terms.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
Senator Peinaili Lady de Montrève

Dear Lady de Montrève,

First, I would like to thank you for conferring with me on this matter. It is almost as if the Veolian Commonwealth is doomed to be ignored at every turn with regard to the information market.

As to the matter at hand: we can have the 185 bandwidth available on time. You were correct in your assumption that we can not agree to a deal with a strong dependency on Niom. We can however, agree to a deal with a duration of at least 50 (:turns) in perpetuity, with a 15 (:turn) delay on announcements to end this deal.

However, the construction of the required infrastructure will take some time, and is mostly bound by the (:holonet-relays)-output of your fair world. A second point which comes to mind is the fact that Niom will have to ship at least the same amount to Xi, maybe this is a good opportunity to contract Niom for the transfer of their information-based products?

If we are given unrestricted access to documents and communications pertaining this deal, we are willing to remain silent partners in this, as I have full confidence in your negotiation abilities and intentions. We are also willing to sit in at the negotiation table as equal partners, should you think it wise. We will leave this decision up to you.

Yours sincerely,
Lady Nehket Aeka

Dear Lady Nehket,

Thank you for your swift reply, we felt this information was important enough to be shared. As we shall do with all further information and communications made available to us, thus enabling you to remain a silent partner in this negotiations as the interests of the Sundarian Federation and the Commonwealth are similar in this. Should the need arise for you to join us we shall make sure to request your presence at the table.

I shall give an reply to Senator Zoreone Abaroa, that the deal can progress as per her wishes, starting with a shipment of 185 units at (:turn) 62, priced as per quotation; with the terms for duration and termination as requested (50 (:turn) in perpetuity, with a 15 delay on announcements).

At this moment the our production of (:holonet-relays) is limited, but stable enough to complete the needed upgrades in a reasonable amount of time, depending on the manner of payment chosen by Xi.

Your sincerely,

Lady de Montrève
