Dear lord-senator Kachiso Doshima,

In the past you have shown to be willing to step up to the responsibility of running the Union.

I hope to convince you to to be my running mate for the upcoming elections. Right now the Union is all but haemorrhaging away in the grandeur of it's bureacratic apparatus. I think that the reforms you have begun for the Ministry of Justice are a good start, but there are other parts of the Union's bureaucracy that could benefit from such ideas.

I have started smaller reforms to ensure that taking up responsibility for leading the Union does not force you to abandon your people to the whims of the senate. It is my hope that this will enable you to represent the Astrian Colonial Authority in the senate, while supporting my run for chancellor in the upcoming elections.

I think that we can bring further improvements to the way the Union is governed if we cooperate.

While I am of the opinion that the Unions bureaucracy is not overbearing in its current form, I agree its cost effectiveness is substandard.

I am willing to support your candidacy and offer my ideas on how to solve these issues. Provided a part of the freed up funds are used to lower taxes on Union members.
