Dear Senators,

Currently the ministry of foreign affairs still has the full contingency budget of this electoral period available. We are considering adding the full budget to the "Colonisation Encouragement Fund" started by Senator Dewa Lanadi.

However since we agreed on transparency for this period I would like to ask for advice and suggestions of the cabinet on how to spend the rest of our contingency budgets. Have you all allocated your budget? Maybe I am missing a very important funding opportunity?

If we have no additional plans at the end of (:turn) 259 I will donate the full 5000 (:tax) to the "Colonisation Encouragement Fund".

Greetings,
Ardios Eldrilith

Dear chancellor, ministers,

I suggest that half of the foreign affairs contingency budget is set aside for supporting trades with other superpowers. This is something that has been said in speeches by chancellors and senators alike, but should really be moved forward soon. Having a sizable fund to back up any necessary actions will make starting up such trades easier.

Other than that, I think that funneling the remaining funds into the Colonisation Encouragement Fund is a good use for the funds. To make sure that everything is done in a legally correct manner, make sure that the funds are routed through the Ministry of Commerce, as the fund is under the purview of that ministry.

With kind regards,

Minister Dewa Lanadi

((OOC: The funds routing thing is only an IC flavour. A simple note in the ministry's turn report suffices for that.))
