I write to you with two-fold purpose: to make a business proposition, and to inform you of my intention to support colonisation efforts if senator Kachiso is elected chancellor.

My business proposition: the Veolian Commonwealth wants to borrow 8500 before or in 240. We offer you a 6% return (+510 ), to be repaid in installments over 24 , starting with repayments in 244. Due to time and economic constraints, this offer is valid until 240, or until we arrange for alternative financing.

On the political front, I plan on awarding subsidies to Union worlds that have taken it upon themselves to expand beyond their home systems. I want to subsidize past, current and future efforts to establish settlements and outposts. I plan on doing so directly, but more importantly by supporting the industry to allow larger trade convoys between colonies and home systems.

Dear Duchess,

The Sundarian Federation is willing to support the Commonwealth in her efforts to support expansion of our economy via settlements and outpost, both in the past, present and future. We believe that this is a sensible development and warrants future support for the Union to ensure we can sustain a healthy growth of the economy and yet are secure in the knowledge that the militairy might of the Union stand ready to aid and protect us should conflicts arise. We also welcome your proposal to help the grow further, and would welcome new initiatives in that direction to help this industry out of a dificult spot.

Regarding your request for a loan of Credits, we are willing to accept your terms. Please inform my office, if the transfer is to take place, so that they may take the necessary steps to ensure timely and secure transport of the requested sum.
