Dear senator Standro,

With the next elections in sight, I am looking for a solid partner in military matters. After the war with the Mandalorians the military of the Union has seen little in the way of exercise. In these peaceful times it is all too easy to forget that we owe our continued existence to a strong army capable of withstanding those outside the Union that would see us destroyed.

In the next term, I hope to have the Union fleets and volunteering member fleets go through several fleet exercises to ensure that our protection is not lacking after our war with the Mandalorians. I also hope to look for a stronger deployment of the fleets to allow quicker reactions to outside threats.

I hope that you will join me in the elections, and hopefully in the cabinet as Minister of Defence.
