"Serrah, please make sure that the draft of the letter to senator Acehtoo is ready by this evening. We will have to move our schedule up a week.", Aeka said to her slave after she sat down at her desk in the Veolian embassy.

As the twi'lek woman left the room, she quickly dailed the Daryan and Teprogrenaian senators.

"Senator Tassar, Senator Konev, thank you for making time to meet with me.

Senator Tassar, I hope I have reached you before you expressed your opinion on senator Konev's Motion of No Confidence. Though justified, I fear that a Motion of No Confidence might not be in the Union's best interests. Not only will the Motion be too late, as the current electorial period is only a few weeks more, it will seem as if the Union is divided in the eyes of the Mandalorians.

I propose an alternative plan. Second my Motion of Sadness instead to express your concern, and help me prevent senator Eldrilith from having another period as chancellor.

I plan to run for chancellor, to make sure that we will not see a repeat of chancellor Eldrilith's disorganized period. During this period, I wish to make sure that our military is fully recovered, and I had hoped that senator Gregory Konev will support me in this as my minister of defence, and one of my running mates. I will make sure that the Praetorians will not have a ministerial seat during my period as chancellor, and that any further public tenders will actually be public.

Will you support me as chancellor?"

"Minister Nehket Aeka, Senator Gregory Konev" Tassar greeted, "we of the Consensus have to say, despite the accusations we made, we didn't thought the situation would explode so much so fast.

We believe it is indeed wiser to support the motion of sadness, than to go for a motion of no confidence to prevent to big of a split in the Union. You already have proven to be a good chancellor therefore we will support you.

Do you already have a plan for the second running mate and the other three ministry posts?"

"I think that the call for No Confidence was premature. But the only harm has been to the pride of the chancellor.

I have plans to ask the senator Acehtoo to be my minister of Foreign Affairs, and I will ask senator Mathi-ey C'b'rton to be the minister of Justice once more. I plan on leaving the mininstry of commerce undecided for now, as tradition requires me to invite the runner-up to sit in cabinet."

"We of the Consensus think that would be a fine cabinet indeed. And we wish you a prosperous period.

If that was all, I would like to excuse you and return to my other duties." Tassar ended with a friendly tone.
