Mercury - Storyteller
I replaced the old 27x27 icons which had horrible anti-aliasing. I haven't replaced some of the more obscure icons yet (will get to that as needed - I think several of them will never be used), but these are properly anti-aliased and imho are a better fit with the tone of the forum.
Let me know what you all think!

I like the new icons (after they were dimmed down a bit). I especially like the 'sticky' icon (the orange one).
We've also created a new Holonet icon, as the old one had a very '80s feel to it.

I just have to say it: I really like the new 'unread' color in the forums. This blue is so much better than the old pinkish color.
Hurray for Mercury and the new icons he created!

I was looking at the forum page.
I was thinking maybe we need a color difference for IC and OOC.
That way people can clearly see the difference.
I was thinking of using green.

You mean for the accounts?

No, I mean a difference in forum colors heading (blue IC and green OOC).
So when you are looking around on the forum, you see on what part of the forum you are.
If want to go really far you could also use difference color for all different parts of the forum
Blue for jedi, green for politic, purple for trade etc.
But I think that would be too much.
I don't think you want to use different colours for different parts of the forum. Part of the usefulness of this is the association of blue => unread.
However, I agree that it might be useful to have some indicator of IC- or OOC-ness depending on which forum you are viewing. This distinction is hard to make if you don't see the text 'IC' or 'OOC' somewhere.
