Mercury - Storyteller
I have changed the template for posts such that when clicking on the username of the poster at the right of their post, and when clicking on their image, you are linked to their IC profile as follows:
At this time, I can't figure out how to detect if an account is an IC or an OOC account - to solve this problem, you can enter your user namespace on the wiki as a link for your OOC account - it will then link there. If your IC account name is different from your wiki page name, you can also enter the correct link in your User Control Panel. It will then link correctly to your IC profile.
Let me know what you think / if you find any bugs
EDIT: At this time, the new link is ONLY next to the post, under the avatar, not for the username in the topic list / forum list (might change that). Regardless, there is now a (ugly - to be replaced) profile button in the entry too, in case you want to go to the forum profile for whatever reason.
- If a site is entered, link to the site of the user
- If no site has been entered, link instead to http://fwurg.xs4all.nl/dokuwiki/ic:USERNAME

Nice!
It's a pity the forum doesn't understand the difference between user name and display name; that would've made some of your work easier.
As to the PC vs. NPC issue: The forum has support for titles or groups (or whatever they're called in this clumsy forum software)? So couldn't we just have an OOC group; that would fix the problem, right?
