We are fast approaching our six year anniversary and I noticed that the last write-a-thon was over a year and a half ago. Also, I've not seen some of you in a long time. We've gotten new players since then as well! So I figured, perhaps it would be fun to get together again, eat junk food and talk Fwurg!

Would there be interest in this?

I am interested as well, however depending on the timing I might or might not be able to come since I am having some medical issues with my right knee at the moment.

I was operated on my meniscus last week since my knee was locked. The surgeon found out that one of my ligaments is broken which will have to be fixed with another surgery. At the moment I have to heal up and do a lot of physical therapy before I can get into the next surgery... Depending on when this surgery is I could come or not.

Depends a bit on where and how long if I can be there though. (I prefer not to pre-plan chunks of weekend because of reasons)

How would people feel about a Write-a-thon in April somewhere? My first proposal would be to consider Saturday 8 April, Sunday 9 April, Saturday 15 April, Sunday 16 April, Saturday 22 April or Sunday 23 April. Please indicate which of these dates you can make.

For reference, I usually host the Write-a-thon in Hengelo. Its very easy to reach by public transportation as there is a bus directly from the train station to 10 meters from my house. We also have good parking and usually at least a few people bike from the University Campus, so that's an option as well. Details to follow for those who need them, but this should be enough information to see if you can make the date ^_^

As is the custom, lunch, dinner and drinks will be provided for you for free. However, please indicate what you'd like to drink and any dietary requirements you may have. Please do NOT presume that I'll have things that everyone always has and that you therefore don't need to mention it. I'm a weird recluse with strange household customs so products like sugar or coffee, may not be available unless you asked for it!

Write-a-thons usually last from around lunch to after dinner, but you are welcome to join late or leave early if your schedule requires this

It is going to take a while before I get my next surgery. The good thing is that I am still getting better now and can join for the write-a-thon.

I would prefer a sunday. In this case Sunday 9 April would be nice.

Looking back their was no real preference for saturday or sunday yet.

If necessary I can make Saturday 8 april work, however this would mean moving other things in my agenda.

The Write-a-thon will be held April 9, at my place as always (PM me for details of address and such)

You are welcome from about 11 am, and lunch and dinner will be provided. Please indicate if you have any dietary requirements, and also let me know what you'd like to drink. We'll get juice and cola regardless, but if what you want is neither, please state so explicitly (I don't have stuff normal people have, so unless you name it, I won't have things like water, coffee or air etc)

Late arrivals are of course welcome (though we'd love to have you the entire day as well!)

I would like there to be air. Preferably a mixture of 78% Nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% of trace elements all in their gaseous state. Somewhere around room temperature would be nice.

You can just leave it floating around. Around 1 atmosphere would be ideal.
