As you may have noticed, we have been upgrading the quality of the climates page, adding images and generally organising things.
One of the changes I have been meaning to make is to fix the issue I have had with the drought and monsoon climate features. I do not have a problem with the statistics, but I do have a problem with planets having both "droughts" and a "dry climate" or "monsoons" and a "wet climate". This doesn't make much sense.
Rather than adding restrictions, I have decided to remove the "droughts" and "monsoons" features entirely and replace them with "short summer" and "short winter" respectively, referring to the length of the growing season.
The statistics are the same, except that the summer and winter feature require natural life. Since all active player worlds featuring these already have natural life, the effect of this is minimal, except that you'll need to change the name of your climate features.
I considered "taiga" and "subtropical" but I didn't really like them. If you don't like the new names, I am open to alternative proposals of course and I do not even mind new climates being created if necessary.
Notably, the following systems should check their climates for the relevant planets:

- Praetorian Empire, Tiamara -> replace Droughts with Short Summer
- Unified Republic of Darya, Kikan -> Replace Droughts with Short Summer
