We (Brend & Chriz) just updated the Union Budget page.

We did this because of the Re: [ Senate ] Bill for Tax Reduction for Technological Research thread has started referencing budget cuts; and we weren't clear on the actual budget. However, IC the budget is (probably) known by all factions -- so we have a little IC/OOC issue here. It seems to us that the budget information on ministerial purses on the wiki is not accurate at all.

We would like to come up with a creative and working method of solving the mentioned budgetary problems, but we (OOC) do not know the expenses. To mitigate this, we came up with the following: Union Budget, Table 1: Projected Union Budget.

We observed that our projection (Union Budget, Table 2: Expenses per Ministerial Purse) did not match the information on the wiki at all, and that at least 2.000 is not accounted for (even when compared with the un-updated union income).

Since the correct budgetary distribution is known IC, we would like some extra information on this OOC, preferably in such a form that it can be published on the wiki in place of the old ministerial budget overview.

I'm actually working on the general Union budget, in regards to the elections in turn 40, however, I can reassure you that your estimate of the Bozzy Spine maintenance is a bit on the high side, as several of the larger members pay for the Bozzy Spine maintenance out of their own pockets. I will produce more information on this, but it'll take a bit of time still.
