Late Game Goals Redux

I think a bit of revisiting the late-game goals would be interesting. The last evaluation was about a year and a half ago, and people might have changed their ideas. (Also, in light of the Late Goals ideas and concepts. thread people might have gotten new inspiration!)

I would like to add upon the previous generic veolian ambition:

The Veolians would very much like to become the biotech engineers of the Union, which includes curating and defending the all-encompassing genetic archives containing genetic lineage information for every citizen in the Union.

They also want to work towards even more impressive feats of terraforming, possibly including the formation of celestial bodies, working hot and cold orbit worlds, and adapting worlds even better to the peoples that live on them, going so far as to engineer specific organisms to speed up this process. (Though the cultural impetus for this is not yet present.)

My late game goals stand: The creation of moons and oversized defence systems, and having the greatest army in the Universe.

Or to put it in more words:

My faction still wants to finish the Cradle, and supersize their fleet prowes. Then they want to create more moons. Why build one if you can build a hundred for not even hundred times the cost? When the whole universe turns against them they want to stand their ground and emerge victorious without a scratch.

They want to build droid armies and even droid fleets, able to work fully autonomous to crush their enemies while they drink tea in the comfort of their backyard on their homeplanet.

They want to be able to send moons, fleets, armies death and destruction to everything they don't like without needing to fear for retaliation or consequences.

The IO Protocol wants to produce more information and ship this to more people in the Union for greater pareto optimization.

One late game project is a higher level (i.e. better) Holonet Trade network for information and information based products, to allow easier trading of these resources. Since there is a proposal for a rework of the trade system (which I strongly support), I'd like to take that option into account in the remodelling.

My faction is still and will continue to be focused on economic supremacy, economic expansion and trade expertise.

My people wish to reach a post-Astrian state, where they achieve a near divine state of being. Where they are immortal, have a body they can consciously adapt to suit their needs at that moment.

Having a vast interstellar empire where they rule over those who lack the capability or vision to reach their level. An empire where people from other worlds can migrate to and live under the watchful eyes of the Astrians in peace, freedom and prosperity.

An empire that is kind and soft on the inside, but hard, unyielding, powerful and relentless on the outside. That is feared by those who wish it harmed and admired by those who look favourable on it.

I would like to some more high tech stuff.
I am think of creating whole-planet domes on moons.
Getting some out-post, colonies etc and support them with high techs.
