Some of you may already be aware of this, but I wanted to post it here just in case: next week (Wednesday the 10th) I am defending my PhD thesis, and hosting a BBQ afterwards at my parents house. Naturally everyone from Fwurg is more than welcome to attend!

The defense itself will be at the university, and will start at 12.30 (sharp), and the BBQ starts around 16.00 (late entries welcome, though if you come in the evening, the food will be gone). If you are interested in attending, and you haven't already, feel free to contact me for details!

PS: Transportation will probably be available from the university to my parents house and back after, though do be sure to let me know if you need it!

You can not reasonably get there by bike. I understand that some cars will be going into that direction as well, so you can hitch a ride together with the other bicycle peeps (such as me).

Given my current condition, transportation would be needed. Though I'm not entirely sure yet that I'll be able to attend.
