As you guys may have noticed I have not been very active, causing some of my stories to stagnate.

The reason is two-fold: I am currently in the final week before my dissertation goes to the committee, which means that its "crunch time" and most of my waking hours are focussed on getting my thesis in order.

Secondly, since last week I've been rather ill, with high fever, which further limits me as to what I can do.

I apologize for the inconvenience and promise that by the write-a-thon, insha'Allah, I will be back to my normal schedule.
