Dragonmaster352 and I had a nice discussion in the chatroom, which I like to convert to a forum thread so we and others can re-read it. But I have no idea how to do this. I know this should be possible in some way, how do I do this?
It is about 'Chancellor discussion between Kachiso and Tassar'

Mmm, the only way I can think of is that someone with moderator abilities (currently either me or Mercury) moves the topic as a whole to somewhere else. I have no problem with doing so manually, automating this is only necessary if the chat sees a lot more use.
For future reference: drop me a PM with the name of the topic you want moved, and where you want it placed.

OK, thanks :)
I moved it, but for some unknown reason phpBB issued a MySQL error during the move (Note for googling this issue: since it couldn't store
((Googling done: After some quick research this seems to have to do with the post count and something called 'resync' on the forums (source). My guess is that phpBB is not that stable with regards to updating post counts and such, especially when you start doing the things we like to do: make it behave the way we want. I'll look into resyncing the thing.))
Note to Elmer: Can you please restore you first post? I have absolutely no way of actually determining what it said there, I vaguely remember that it was some OOC note. Can you also place [Purgatory] in front of the topic while you're at it, that way everyone knows where it was :)
forum_posts - 51 in an UNSIGNED BIGINT, making me guess that the forum_posts value was lower than 51 to start with)... The first post seems to have been emptied out.((Googling done: After some quick research this seems to have to do with the post count and something called 'resync' on the forums (source). Ah, I see. The first post was: 'user Elmer joined the room'. I didn't say anything, it was just the automated user update notification.
Oh yes, I did that in order to update the title. Otherwise the forum didn't allow me to change the subject of the thread since the post was empty.
