In the same vein as the Menu Poll!, I would like to hear your opinions on the front page.

Currently, the front page is devoid of any useful information.

Chriz proposed to have a distinction between logged in and logged out, with the logged out version showing some basic introductory information on what the game offers to players (and links to the real thing :P). The logged in version, according to us, should contain information relevant to the logged in player.

Now the question is: What is relevant information to you?

Please tell us what kind of things you would really want on the front page when you're logged in. Currently I have no idea, so anything you think up is helpful.

To start of: I think I would like...

• ...a list of the five most recently posted in threads in which one of my characters is involved.
• ...a list of my followed threads (without any extra info, just thread name+star color)

Maybe the Introduction should be at the home page when you are not logged in.

When logged in, maybe some links to (for you) important wiki pages and tools?

Maybe we (I) can create some sort of fancy looking frontpage image like: 'hey this looks cool, what is it?' Though we (I) have to create it ourselves then. Maybe I have time in the vacation to render some fancy ships to create the Star Wars feeling when entering the home page. I should have laying some old stuff around which I can patch up.

I'm all for cool visuals, but I would be very happy if we can somehow work actual FWURG things into the promotional material. Just a few cool ships isn't really the thing that makes FWURG cool... In that case, we might consider Jedi material, and somehow a cool view of the current worlds or something like that.
