Due to interruptions in the terraformation process of Nayi after the war caused a blockade of the system, scientists have had to work overtime to trying to stabilize and settle the terraformation process of the planet.

Today, a breakthrough was announced, which will allow the completion of the terraformation process, albeit at some additional cost.

Besides the extra financial costs, some unique effects have also resulted, which are still being investigated: strange organic slime has developed in the underground tunnels of the planet, which wasn't part of the biogenesis plans. It is currently being investigated to determine what it is and how it got there.

Whatever it is, the slime is present in significant quantities and likely the result of the interrupted terraformation process combined with the planets unique structure. Some studies suggest it may also be linked to the exotic matter from the ships which exploded in and above what was going to become its atmosphere, though there is no consensus amongst the scientists for either explanation, nor even for a combined cause.

((OOC: The Terraformation Process of Nayi has failed, but may now be completed for double the remaining cost. This means another 1710 (:terraformation-modules) over 6 (:turn) are necessary. You don't have to start right away, but once you start, you cannot stop as normal with terraformation. To clarify, you can start to spend on this in Turn 318 if you wish, but you cannot change your existing Turn 317 report to include this.

Once completed, the planet will gain the features of the terraformation process, and can be developed following the normal rules for building zones, but the Natural Life discount on zone prices is halved - at least for the moment. More will come in this thread, so keep an eye out!))

((OOC: Have you watched The Expanse by any chance? Cause this plot seems a little bit familiar. If it develops like that we are in big trouble :P))
