"I am James Sheepsay, professional gastronome and gourmand, welcome to my food blog! Please don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

*A 2 minute intro followed of fractions of clips and excessively fast zooms, accompanied by a douzen accordions playing (different) polka's*

"So before we get started, please hit like, subscribe to the channel and click all the ads! I apologize for not posting as frequently, I am currently travelling through the wilderness to bring you a report on what is rumoured to be a delicacy made by the local people, but I wanted to post something, so here is something I've been working on before now, a list of foods from around the Union - some common, some rare, some just plain weird!

Before we get started though, please remember to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

((OOC: This forum event follows the extremely popular food blog of James Sheepsay, who explores food (and beverages) from around the union - especially local cuisine - while reminding you to like, subscribe and click all the ads! Pictures are not mandatory, but are much appreciated ^_^

Each food or beverage should be described as if being brought to you by James Sheepsay and should include both factual information about the food and a description of the taste from his perspective.

"James Sheepsay here. Today I am eating a traditional Miomanian dish, Vegetarian Tentacle Slice. This dish, made of vegetarian tentacle slugs is quite difficult to make. The slugs have to be specially kept to prevent them from eating meat, as they will naturally put anything before them, alive or dead, including themselves if they get turned around and if they do eat meat of any kind, the taste apparently changes noticeably.

This one clearly hasn't eaten meat as its tentacles are both delicious and moist, with a piquant hint of flavour! Very tasty! Don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

"James Sheepsay here, celebrating 91 days of the new year! Today I am eating a byte of traditional IO Protocol cuisine!

You are supposed to nibble these, so I am just going to have a little bit at a time... hmmm-hm-hmmm-hmmm hm-hm-hmmm hmmm-hmmm...

I have to say this entire experience has been informative, but in the end, the meal is rather insubstantial - I think I'd prefer an apple. Don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

"James Sheepsay here. Today we are on Stellaria for an exquisite delicacy, the Queen Python hatchling. This exclusive dish consists of a freshly hatched Queen Python egg that has been specially selected from a wild Queen Python by a professional eggfinder. Only one in ten-thousand eggs is suited for consumption and only the best eggfinders can select the right ones.

The plate has just been served and I can see the cracks in the shell starting to form."

"Well goodbye little fella..."

"The mixture of textures is quite interesting. The tender meat and the crunchy bones mix together very well with the subtle flavour of the sauce. It really brings out the full taste of the hatchling and also complements the taste of the shell, which, I am told, is quite healthy.

"James Sheepsay here. Today I'm going to try a veolian curry, which I have been warned about to not try without a good drink. Fun fact, when I walked to the pitoresque village of Paudhon — the best place to get curries in the whole of the Smi-Halek system — two different plants tried to take a bite out of me. Good thing my guide was there to cut them down.

"So, the curries are served separated. I understand from the host that it is customary to take a big plate and take a few pancakes or little breads and then to use the "table spoon" to scoop your preferred curries onto your plate. So, I have selected several curries. The smell alone makes your mouth water and your eyes tear up at the same time."

The video shows a first person shot of James selecting scooping up several of the curries as he keeps talking.

"The meats in these curries have been hunted specifically for today's meal, and are mostly murgee and some kind of predator whose name I can't pronounce very well. The murgee, a kind of chicken, is well-known here for it's colourful feathers and its bad temper when nesting. They grow to be about half a meter high, and can climb into trees at the sight of danger!"

"So, once you combine the curries on your plate, it some actually react with each other to combine into new flavours. Some of which smell truly marvelous! And now for the first taste. MMmm. It taste's ishhhhhh.....", the video shakes a little and the sound of same exhaling quickly can be heard. "I begin to understand the warning about the drink. The taste is great, but some of the combined curries are a tad more spicy than I am used to. And I am used to a lot!"

The rest of the video shows James Sheepsay eating the rest of the curries, which requires seven refills of his large tankard of drink.

"So, there you have it. The best curry this side of the Bozzy Spine! Thanks for watching! Before you go, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!!"

"Welcome again, James Sheepsay here. Today I will try a typical Teprogrenaian dish. The waiter gave me a very strange look when I was ordering one, so I am curious what I will be served. In the meantime, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

"There the is food coming," *a shot of a Teprogrenaian-Danar waitress brining a plate of food* "I have not looked at the menu, but ordered directly. So it will be a surprise for me too what I will get!."

*A shot of how the plate is put down, and a pile of crawling insects is revealed.*

"... This is a surprise indeed, and much more than I anticipated. I am not sure if I will be able to finish the whole dish but we will see. The waiter just told me that the idea is to eat the insects whole as they are alive. But before I begin, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!

... Hhmmm... the shells are quite tough to crack but once you are trough, they reveal the juicy secrets inside. It is a little strange, feeling them crawl in your mouth, but they are surprisingly sweet. A great party snack for sure, and while you at the party, tell your friends as well to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!"

"James Sheepsay here. Today, we are in the My'enru system. Erau is a green planet with a lot of flora and they seem to be a delicacy. There are very healthy and apprently they serve honey wine with it. While we wait, please hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!."

James gets a big glass with a little honey wine. After a while a waiter comes with a plate full of colorful flowers.

Image

"And now we can get started. First, take a sip of the wine. The glass is big so that you can really smell the aromas of the honey wine which will complement the flowers. The wine is sweet and I really feel like I am in a flower field now. Now let's try these flowers.

It is really surprising what kind of tastes you get from them. Sweet, sour but also bitter, salty and umami. Each flower has it's own distinguished flavor and also the texture. Some of the leave have been fried, dried or some kind of other preparation method."

Some shots of James Sheepsay chewing on some flowers, with close ups of the petals.

"That was a light meal, ideal for this warm weather.

So grab your friends and enjoy the atmosphere while eating. This was James Sheepsay and remember and don't forget to hit like, subscribe and click all the ads!!"
